Dear member nokia forum...please i need help for my E63...after i upgrade software from 100 into 200 my E63 always restart...and i have tried install current software on NOKIA CARE ,, same problem...my E63 still always restart...what happen with my Phone ?? i think i want to downgrade ?? what happen if i downgrade my phone ??

Try booting in "safe mode". If that stops the restarts, launch the Console utility and look through the categories in the column on the left for crash reports or kernel panic logs.

Help Please: Slow To Restart After Update

My family member got his Macbook in August 2006 but rarely if ever did any updates. I ran Software Update today and there were a lot of things listed so I decided to do it in steps. First, there were a couple of firmware updates which downloaded then I was returned to the Software Update window. I then selected the 10.4.11 update. After installing that, it said I should restart, which I agreed to.
Now, however, it has come back with the apple in the middle of the screen and the little spinning thing below it and it has been doing that for at least 30 minutes so far. I think I can hear the disk spinning, unless that's just a fan.
The machine is slow as it has the small amount of memory that it came with, but is this normal? Should I just let it keep going or should I kill it and try to restart?

Well, I think I got it to work based on input from another forum. I shut the MacBook down and rebooted. Then I did the firmware updates by going directly to the Utilities folder and in turn double clicking on each update and following the directions there.

Help, I just updated to the latest software,version 4.5, and now where on my home screen can I find my internet browser, only the media net browser, I have tried to change the options to internet browser from media net and nothing happens, can anyone help? thanks, Robyn

Well, first things first, disable dhcpcd.
# systemctl disable dhcpcd
Then, in your system, try running it manually, and see what happens.

hi mate,
not possible to update your software offline. i know that in current Nokia Suite and the older Nokia Software Updater, if your installation file download is interrupted (by Internet cutting out for example), then it will save what has been downloaded already and only download the remaining parts of the file.
other than that, your other option is to take your phone to a Nokia Care point and get them to carry out the software update for you.

When I set the sleepmodus ore I close my MacBook I always have to restart the PC and it gets very hot. What should I do?

Probably some subtle power management change or something, e.g. trying to power down a device that is already powered down, then waiting for confirmation that never arrives....
Oh, BTW, has anybody tried waiting five or ten minutes to see if it eventually goes to sleep?

Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Ok, back to the issue at hand, the Prof. is right. In none of the OP's participation, nor in any of his choir of followers save mommy power is there the least hint of what Apple product is failing. While y'all get a move on and disgorge the details, may want to try a Safe Boot. Hold down the Shift key prior to the startup chime and wait awhile. IF it starts, then it means you have some third-party software that's causing the problem. Else there's a strong probability a complete reinstall will occur in your near future.
In the future and in spite of what some purists may say, be sure to service the system disk BEFORE patching. By "service" I mean booting up the Mac using your Install DVD (Snow Leopard or priors) or booting in Recovery Mode (Command R, in the Lions and successors), running the Disk Utility found in that mode and doing a Repair Disk and Repair Disk Permissions. Until NO errors show up. Cause patching up an already damaged system will only make things worse.

It would actually try to restart for about 10-15 seconds but would quit and then shut down. Tried using P_R_Command_Options but that too failed and again it just shut down. Tried using D at startup which ran a test of the hard drive. No issues there which tells me there's a software problem.
Can any one help?

Disk Utility suggest reformating
Reformatting is not a Recovery Aid. When Disk Utility suggests reformatting, it is because it considers your drive unsalvageable. Yes, you lose all the data on the drive when you reformat.
And yes, Mac OS X Extended, journaled is the method you will need for a Mac OS X Boot drive.
You should also consider buying a replacement drive to have on hand the next time this internal drive gives you the slightest bit of trouble. Possibly an external enclosure to put it in as well. and it would not hurt to go ahead and Install Mac OS X on it and try booting from it, to make sure it is ready.
And make sure your Backups are current, as the next time that internal drive screws up you may get no warning whatsoever.

Like what happens? Is it just spinning?
If you've waited sufficiently long (say 10 minutes) you could just hit the power button which will do the trick. A little more gentle would be to open a terminal window (if you can) and type 'sudo reboot' (without the quotes) and enter your password when it asks. That will do it too.

After updating software, apple tv no longer accesses mob.tv and wsj

After updating software, my apple tv no longer accesses MLB.TV and the WSJ. It shows a spinning icon, sas accesing mlb., but never finishes.
This happened once before with an upgrade and the solution was to update using a USB wire. I took the apple tv to the store, and they did this (or they said they did), but the wired connection to MLB NO LONGER WORKS. It will work as a wi fi, but will not work with wire. Help! How can I get mlb back p and running for the 5 days of the year I want it most.

Is your Apple TV correctly connected to the network (check you don't have an IP address that staqrts with 169)
Have you checked homesharing is still set up properly, what about your computer firewall, is set to allow access for iTunes, you might try turning it off too.
