Hi. My iphone 5s was stolen. Bought a new one, when im gonna restore backup from icloud, new iphone asks me to introduce the password of an apple id that´s not mine. Could this one be the Apple Id of the buglar?? If it is.. coul u help me?

You can contact your carrier and see if they offer such a service.

The phone can't be tracked when powered off. It must be powered on and have an active connection to the internet to be tracked.

i think my iphone was stolen before being sold to me, i need help finding out who the original owner was to unlock the phone. any ideas on numbers i could ring? im super gutted
If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

You can only track it if you turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My before it was lost/stolen, and then registered it in iCloud's Find My Phone service. You must then log in to iCloud, click Find My Phone and see if it shows up. If it is turned off, not connected to the internet or been reset to factory condiditon it will not show up. There is no way to track it except in that way.
Report it to the police, insurance and cell provider in case the will blacklist the iPhone so it cannot be used.
Change your passwords for accounts on the iPhone. -
Help me find who has my stolen iPad.
My Ipad 2 was stole in February. I did not have find my iPad turned on, so no luck in tracking it. Today, we got an email from [email protected] saying that our stolen iPad had been locked using our new passcode.
So, if apple knows that it has been locked by someone (of course not us), is there a possibility that the iPad can be found? I would love to find the people who broke into our home, turned it upside down, and stole all our apple products, plus everything Nintendo plus much more.
When I use the find my iPhone app, or go to iCloud.com to find my new iPad and iPhone, it looks for the stolen iPad also, but says that either it can't be found, or that it is offline.
Please help me out.

You can't locate your phone if you did not enable the 'Find My Phone' app. In addition the phone would have to be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network. The serial number will not enable you to locate your phone. -
Need help to find protective case for iPhone 3G
I am looking for a protective case (preferably black one) for my new iPhone 3G that can protect the screen from scratches (without bubbles and fairly easy to install), protects the remainder from scratches, and allows access to all its buttons.
The Apple store seems to be out of many of them and it is difficult to tell on the online Apple store which one is actually going to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?A friend of mine has an otterbox for his Touch. It it bullet-proof. They have one for the 1st gen iPhone, but not yet for the 3G. It should be out any second now. It is very high quality. I am waiting for that. I need something that I can strap to my arm or Camelbak strap and survive if I crash or it rains. That will. There are reviews on amazon. (cheaper on amazon than their own site)

you've lost you're phone, you can report it stolen but i doubt they will find the person, or if you had insurance use that. there is like a 1% chance you will find it. &like someone else said, the theif cant use it if it had a passcode lock or without your apple id and password

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.
If you have this persons email address, try sending them an email and asking them to remove their ID as described above. -

If he has not previously set up Find My iPhone, there is no way to
track the iPhone. Apple does not and will not track phones.
Immediately change all passwords. Hopefully he was using a passcode
to get by the lock screen. If he was, his data is protected; if not, anyone

Hello!! I bought an ipad as a gift for a friend and he lost it(or someome stole it) the very first day!!! He didnt even created icloud account. Can we still find it with help of find my iphone, eg ny using serial number????thanx.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can)
