try to update my phone "xperia x10i" but some thing wrong with softwere updater
when i try to select my phone in menu before update its automaticaly select xperia x10 (so-01b) its a japan version but i need to install normal version, i cant select "xperia x10" its near that but when i click on it, again its auto return to "xperia x10 (so-01b).
plz help me how i can solve this...

trying to get a user with an iphone 4 to update to latest IOS - he is on 4.2.1 - off and on for months he has tried and it always fails trying to connect to server etc.

Can anyone help? Have a Xperia X10i keeps switching itself off & on when using the internet.

This has only started happening after the last update. After approx 5 mins if I am on facebook or playing a game it turns itself off & on all the time. Texting & making phone calls is fine.
I have tried to update again but it won't let me saying it is up to date. Firmware version 2.1 update 1 if that helps any.
Not sure if theres anything in the settings I need to change or maybe I need to install a software program?

I suggest that you do a update or reinstall of the phone software via the Update Service program. www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice
Hopefully will that solve your problem.
If you get the option to update I suggest that you select to update and also factory reset the phone.
If you only get the option to reinstall you already have the latest version, this will automatically result in a master reset too.

There might be a problem with either the NSU or the phone itself. Any updates on what happened?

i udnerstand that you want to update the phone, i want to get an update too, as those many bugs are getting on my nerves.
did you also get firmware 5.11 installed by a nokia service center? thats the way i got this new firmware too (when i had a microphone that was broken, they installed also newest firmware).
as Nokia software updater showed (untill they remove the support "temporarily", for all productcodes always 4.22 as being newest firmware.
however the changes between 4.22 and 5.11 were really just a few minor fixes, even nokia navigator (route66mobile8-oem-version) didnt get updated at all.

I have two tables temp_1 and temp_2.
I want to update temp_2 based on data from temp_1. However i do not want to make an update where temp_1 has null value.
One approach i can think of is creating two different update statements but is there any chance to get it done through
only one statement. Also i would like to add here that temP_1 has 250K data and i going to make update on approx 500K
rows from temp_2. So i need to look from performance point of view as well.

Cannot use Help | Search for Updates

I just installed JDeveloper and am trying to run the updater from the Help directory. I am running on Linux and when I click update and put in my OTN username and password, the updater says my username or password are wrong. But, as you can see, I am able to log into OTN via a browser. What could be wrong? It makes no sense.

What version of JDeveloper are you using?
If you are using 9.0.3, then it won't work anymore now that OTN uses SSL (9.0.3 didn't support SSL)

The LR4.4 updater is correctly reporting that there are no further updates available for LR4. LR4.4 is the latest update.
LR5 is a paid-for upgrade. You must separately download it and install it.
If you want to try out LR5, download the trial version and try it out for 30 days at no cost. If you want to keep using it then you must pay the upgrade price

The table contains all the columns seen above, try to write a script which will update the months column(jan02 feb02...jun02) with the cost(cost/term) depending on the install date and the term.
ex: if the term is 3 months I have to update jan feb and mar with the cost/term value spilt across 3 months
if the term is 6 months I have to update jan feb mar apr may jun with the cost/term value spilt across 6 months
if the term is 5 months I have to update jan feb mar apr may with the cost/term value spilt across 5 months

I cannot update iTunes. In instructions for updating it says to go to help and then click check for updates. Guess what! No help options within iTunes. I need to be able to syn my iPod touch 5 but I cant without the newest iTunes. I am sick of this crap.

I am EXTREMELY tired of having to deal with this. iTunes has been an issue since I got it and unfortunately whenever I want to update my computer's iTunes account it demands I download a new format (which has continually gotten worse and WORSE over time). I wish things would not be updated so frequently. As soon as I have the new format working decently (ONLY decently, I have never had an apple product that has worked as it is stated it should) another update comes along. I don't do anything. I search up how to update things. It says ON THIS SITE: Go to help in the itunes store. THERE. IS. NO. CLEARLY. VISIBLE. HELP. SECTION. I have looked for FAR to long for this to be worth my time.

Okay - let's cut to the chase...
If the Menu Bar (File, Edit... Help) shown in my screenshot below is not visible, use CTRL+B to display it. Then click on Help/Check for Updates. If one is available, you will be able to select it at this time.
Note the item at the bottom of the list; About iTunes. Selecting that will show you which version of iTunes you are using.
An alternative method to display the Menu Bar is click on the box in the top left of your iTunes window...

New to Oracle ADF 11g Framework Project and when i am working in office pertaining to project(ADF 11g) i am getting Oracle Official Updates for svn, Junit,Ant since the PC got connected to Internet,but how can i have the updates of svn,ant,junit woking on my personal PC which is not internet connected. I came to know the updates availability via .zip format, but being rookie to forum,can any one please suggest better approach of having those updates i.e any request to oracle support ? or any links available ? as it will be helpfull for me.

Previously one could check Firefox version or look for updates by clicking Help - how is this done in Firefox 4 ?
