Hi Frndz,
i m New to EP,
I got sme problem while creating roles. i.e.,
I hav been create role1 and role to and i assigned to one user.
in top level navigation its showing the order like
role1-systemadmin-contentadmin-useradmin-role2.
i dont want that order.
i hav been changed the sort priority also.
even though roles are not changing their order.
so what i hav missed out?

You need to assign priorities for your worksets. This is explained clearly in this <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/92/3e703e632c7937e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">link</a> with an example.

The forum is fore heping out othersAnd that is exactly what I did. You won't get much help in the future if you don't change your habbits. In fact I'm surprised you got help this time.
It's your responsibility to make a question easy to read, not to make it difficult to read by (among other things):
a) holding the repeat key down
b) not spelling out words
Heck you can't even post formatted code to make it easy for people to read. Do you write your code with every line left aligned? I doubt it and we don't want to read it either.
So learn how to use the forum properly.

Based on your experience, you may want to start working your way to earning an MCSA for Windows Server 2012 R2. It requires you to pass three exams. The first exam you may want to take on is 70-410 which is on install Windows Server 2012.

Release Strategy for SA/Contract/PO

Hi friends,
Should we have different release groups and release codes in contracting/ SA/ PO.
Because...
I have maintained 4 characteristics in release strategy for PO _[ Comp Co, plant, porg, total net order value].
But i want to maintan only 2 characteristics in release strategy for contract [plant, total net order value]
because the same is reflecting in contract config also.
Is it possible..please help me frnds.

Hi Prabhu,
Unfortunately you need to maintain characteristics of all possible values for company code and plant for contractsu2019 to subject the release.
Wish that SAP would be more flexible with release of PO, Contract and RFQ but it does not.

Plant not taking in purchase order

Hi Frnds,
I got a problem while raising PO.
In ME21N, after entering all the details, the plant is not taking up even i enter the plant.
I have 8 plants and out of that if i press F4, only 2 plants are visible. I have checked in OMS@ for qty and value update and its ok..
Kindly help me frnds..

1) check company code and purchsing organization at header level in Po on Purch.Org tab
2) check you have assigen all plant to your company code in t-code OX18
3) check your material inMM60 you defien for your plant or not

Difference in Maintenance Plan date to Order basic start date

If i creat a strategy plan and schedule, i am getting difference in PLan date in Maint plan to Basic start date. What is making this difference. How to overcome this. I need Order start date same as PLan date.
Plz help me frnds.

can you explain in details with your maintenance plan with the dates.Normally your call date and plan date will be different becase of call horizon ,but the order basic start date and plan date will be equal only

Attachment of output type to Invoice

Each type after i create a Invoice i have to go into Header and assign the output type (RD00) for printing purpose is there any other method wher i can give it commonly, so that i dont have to go and give it every time i create an Invoice. Like some mass attachment//... Please help me frnds.

Output determination works as per follows:-
1.First you will have to create a output type.
2.Assign output program to this output type either SAP script or Smartform.
3.Assign this output type in output determination procedure along with the desired access sequence.
4.Assign this output determination procedure to your document type Order/Delivery/Billing
5.Maintain the condition record for the access sequence or you can maintain manualy in order/delivery/Billing
6.You can also add the output type manually in the order/Delivery/Billing.

Is it posibble to run it ?
If yes then where i have to make changes.?
I tried to pass IP address of the system that holds application in <host> and <engine> in Tomcat/conf/server.xml but not running.
Does it require some other changes

option 1: make tomcat listen on port 80, then you don't have to specify a portnumber.
option 2: if you already have a regular webserver running on port 80 then you may be able to install a module that will forward JSP and servlet requests to tomcat. Check this page:

System.printing Namespace

Hai frndz. . . . i want to connect remote printer at server side using C# asp.net pls help me frnds. . . .

I got this exact error. I'm trying to get a list of printers available to the requesting Host. This is an internal web application so I want to open it up enough to get it to work but don't want to over expose the services.
I tried everything permission-wise. Have you found a solution? The code fails on creation of the PrintServer object in IIS. When I run it on my local box (localhost web server and web client on the same box) it works fine.
I tried creating the server object two different ways. I commented out my first attempt.

Create a boolean indicator. Put it in a single frame flat sequence structure with the List Names property node and wire a True constant to the indicator. Now when that frame of the sequence structure executes, the boolean will be set true the same time the data is going into the property node.
Of course you need to have a way to reset the boolean indicator to false at the beginning of the program. So wire a False constant into a local variable of the indicator and be sure that piece of code executes at the beginning your VI's execution.
