HELP ME GUYS WITH CREDIT ADVICE FOR NEWBIE

Thanks for reading! I just want to ask you guys, I'm looking to help my girlfriend open her first credit card. I have plenty with all of the creditors and I began with Capital One. I believe at that time I had my student loan reporting though. She has nothing on her report aside from a few inquiries (AT&T and a few store card HPs). She said some of her friends have been approved for a low CL Discover It card. I don't know if there is a Discover It offering for newbies or if they must just have something on their report. I recommended she get a Cap1 card. That way she can have her son on the card image and I know that since I've heard they triple pull they're pretty leanient. What do you guys think? Any advice on what secured card she should get should it come to that? Thanks very much again!

You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. Im trying to generate a report that has all person_sso numbers in first column.
Second column have applied_hours, then office_hours, then programs_hours, then total_hours, then diff_hours (difference).

As long as you are buying content for yourself (you can't use your balance for gifting) then your balance should be automatically used up first, with only the remainder of the item's price being charged to your credit card.

HELP please with PC Suite for Newbie with 6085 on ...

Hi I have Bluesoleil and PC Suite installed on my computer,and am having connection problems.
When I can get PC suite connected it disconnects shortly afterwoods. Only by removing the USB Dongle, and re-inserting it will PC suite re-recognise the connection.

Need help displaying images with List component for Flash CS4 (ActionScript 3.0)

I am an inexperienced user of Flash CS4 Pro (v10.0.2). I am attempting to use the List component with ActionScript 3.0 to make a different image display when a user clicks each item in a list.
I did find a tutorial that showed me how to make different text display using a dynamic text box and the following ActionScript:

...where My List is the instance of the List component and ListText is the dynamix text box. However, as I mentioned to start, what I really want to do is make images display instead of text. Can anyone provide me the steps to do this?

Hi...thanks for responding! I was planning on using images from the Library, but if there is a better way to do it, I'm open. So far, I just have text in the data property. This is part of my problem. I don't know what I need to put in the data value for an image to display. Do I just put the image file name and Flash will know to pull it from the Library? Do I need to place the images on the stage on different frames? I apologize for the "stupid user" questions, but as you can tell, I'm a newbie.

Problem with credit managment for FI-documents

is there any possibility to modify the value "Total receivables" for the creditmanagment?
I customize the position-type as not active for "credit active" and the values for the sales part are set correctly for the credit managment.
But everytime I create an invoice and the FI-documents are created, the value for the "total receivable" in report
RFDKLI40 is wrong.
If I create a new sales document then, the creditmanagment checks with the wrong value from "total receivable" and that´s wrong.

and cmpnt space."
in report LVFDSF02 is set.

Advice for newbie

This is my first post and hope that somebody has the patience to give some advice to a newcomer.
I 'discovered' programming via the familiar (?) route of Excel to VBA and got hooked on programming and what it can do. I did some reading and it semed clear that Java was / is a major player for the future. So I got out 'teach yourself Java in 21 days' (!) and got really interested in Java.
I am considering doing a Java Ceritification as a focus to my learning. Can anybody give advice on that e.g. time / difficulty / usefullness. I was hoping to move towards mobile developing.
Also, is there a software package that serves as a Java developing environment?I am used to typing code in NotePad and then compiling via MS-DOS...
I'd truly appreicate anything that can get me headed in the right direction.

Going from Excel to VBA to Java sounds so familiar to me! Granted, a long time ago, but familiar nontheless. If I may offer a few words of encouragement: don't despair, at least this developer proceeded along the same route. :^)
That having been said, I have never been Java certified. I know people who are, and even some who try to get as many certifications as possible. However, in actual job interviews, the subject has never come up. I imagine that two candidates who are equal in nearly every respect except certification would result in the certified candidate being hired. However, this IMO is a rare case.
To start with Java, my advice would be to pick-up an introductory Java book. Read through it, and familiarize yourself with the core features of the language (branching, iteration, assignment, etc.) Then, you can start learning some of the packages that you will use most often, including java.util, java.io, java.net and java.text.
Once you get to this point, I think the best thing to do is learn by doing. Pick a small project that interests you personally. When I started out, I wanted to write something simple to calculate my take-home pay and make out a small budget. (Granted, this may be as interesting as watching paint dry for you, but pick something you like).
At some point, you will have the confidence to either start writing your own software or apply for employment with a company.

I'm currently trying to get my "movepiece"-method to make it so that players can only drag a piece into the empty square at the bottom row, and if the square is not empty the method will move up one row and check if it's empty if not, repeat until
6 are checked if no one is empty then move is invalid.
I've been trying out while loops and for loops but i think i might set the wrong conditions for exiting the loop...
Here the code for the method without any loops simply adds pieces.

The game is using winforms and a 2D array(pieceArray)to draw the game board

And while i'm at it when i did different loops for tryng to make the piece move down/up (based on if a square in bottom row was empty or not) the program crashes and i get the "Null Reference Exception unhandled"

Let's look at what's wrong with the following code.

Suppose, for the sake of argument, that targetX is 2 and targetY is 3, and that pieceArray[2,3] is not null. The line inside the loop will then become...
pieceArray[2,3] = pieceArray[2, 4];
...and this line will keep being executed as long as pieceArray[2,3] is not null, which if pieceArray[2,4] is not null will be forever (infinite loop).
I suspect that your loop should look something like this...

Some advice for newbie backup-ers?

Hello, I've just come across a few dollars to spend on a drive to backup my macbook pro. I am fairly new at this so would appreciate some advice.
I considered the 1T Time Capsule but looked at some reviews and too many people would not reccommend due to it failing after a year. Plus I think I could probably get a better Seagate drive for less money.
First question, can I still use time machine with a Seagate external hard drive? Or could I somehow use migration assistant with it - to save my hard drive as is on my external?
I've also read a little about cloning and downloaded carbon copy cloner to do this but am not sure how it works. Would I just save a clone on my external and then copy it over to my mac in the event I lost my data? Does this take a lot of time? Would that be quicker than time capsule?
Ohh so many questions I know. Its just all so overwhelming and I want to make the right choice. Basically Im after non-complicated, easy, one-click approaches to backing up - similar to how easy migration assistant is. But it would also be good to have the option of manually transporting important documents like assignments to a backup drive. Thanks for reading!

you would clone your cloned system from the external back to your internal HD, yes.
Does this take a lot of time?
depends on how much data you're cloning. via a firewire 800 connection, cloning 60 GB takes about an hour (YMMV).

again, depends on how much data to backup. if you're using an ethernet connection instead of wireless, it will be faster. the initial backup will take rather long, but subsequent backups are incremental and take much less time.

SAP Career Advice for newbie

I've been working for this a company a year now and feel stuck. Started as functional in HR module - did this for about 6 months and learned how to write functional specs. This position ended. Was retrained in ABAP for two months. Now moving into a technofuctional support role in SD module. My problem is that I'm having a hard time getting noticed and no work is being given to me. My manager seems confused as to what my actual role/activities/tasks should be.
For those with experience or maybe have dealt with this previously. What are some things that I should do to get work, get noticed, and learn on grow at this position? Should I ask for work? Should I ask to shadow? I need some direction. Your advice is greatly apprieciated.

If I were you, I would spend all your free time here on SDN. There are so many rescources you can explore... If you couldn´t spare a minute because of tons of work to do, you would get stuck as well. At the moment you may have the same problem as me - I am too young for a responsibility. Use this time carefully and increase your value for your employer. And think about it this way: You pay me, don´t give me work and I increase my value, but probably... you won´t ever venefit from my increased value:)) Prepare your career for a new employer. Decide what career you want to pursue, work hard and next change the job.

DJ in the UK, Typically the way that it works here in the United States clubs pay royalties to ASCAP, BMI etc.... and the Governing body is the RIAA, The Club usually purchases or Pays the DJ in which the Licensing fees are paid. To the best of my understanding Apple abides by domestic and international laws that prevail with regard to copyright and royalties ie. RIAA and other governing agencies internationally.
To the best of my understanding after reading Apples TOA you are in no way prohibited from playing that music you legally purchased for a Public Audience as long as local applicable Laws and Licensing fees which by the way are not dictated by Apple, are paid. Apple is a retailer not a governing body. The terms of the sale, TOS or TOA terms of agreement from the Apple store are intended to protect Apple from any unwarranted legal actions. However, since Apple is a private for profit company and not a Governing Institution. For the laws in your area I would contact a Barrister familiar with Copyright and Royalties similar to the RIAA, Ascap and BMI here in the U.S.A.

Left high and dry with bad advice for 8 days

I just want to voice my frustration with BT, last Monday (september 23rd), my broadband went down because I was moving from the Business to Residential service and I was disconnected. I rang BT and was told an engineer would need to come out on Tuesday which is tomorrow (October 1st).
8 days is a bit of a wait for a disconnection which in my view should not have happened! That same day, an email arrived to tell me I am up and running but, when I tested it appeared this would not be the case. Tonight (September 30th) I took a notion and searched the internet for the BT Residential username for BT infinity and fed it into my bt business hub, and to my surprise the internet has started going....therefore, for the last 8 days I have actually had internet in the house, if BT had have advised me that changing the username/password in the router would have gotten my service going I would have done this 8 days ago.
I live in a cable-less house, which means that everything including Television relies on internet. This is not acceptable in my view and I demand an official response in writing from BT to explain WHY I was left high and dry for 8 days, the technician visit tomorrow is just pointless now!
