prefferibly the 8 gig. I want it because its small, and im able to run with it. I had the micro photo, and i didnt read that you shouldnt run with it untill it was too late, and it stopped working. I was extremely happy with the micro photo, and after liking mine, my mom and sister bought it. I also like the v plus because my dad has it?i have just a few questions tho. im ok with the video quality not being the greatest, i understand the screen is tiny, but it still would be nice on those longer car rides to have some form of video, how much space does a full length movie take up?ill have about 2,000 songs on my player, but i always like having the comfort of being able to add more, so if space is a problem id like to know how it would conflict with having video.
on my dads v plus he has a few short clips and they turn out alright looking, acceptable for a small player like this. i really like this player, but would also like the video option, a bigger player, or a hard dri've player wont work, because ill run with this pretty much every day and running with my micro photo is how im pretty sure i screwed it up. i would definatly like to stay with? creative because with the few problems i've had with them, its been pretty much my fault ( not paying attention?to directions, not the best care, etc.)

I don't use my ZVP for video, so my knowledge is a bit limited. However, the ZVP is As you say) small & it does not have the processing power to decompress video files, so it can only show uncompressed video. This means that it is not really suitable for watching videos of any length cos they turn out HUGE...
I like my ZVP! I use it mostly for listening to music at work, occasionally the radio, and sometimes for recording on line in (vinyl & li've stuff).

I draw a curve using curveTo() method of Path2D. Is there any way to find some points on that curved path except start, end and control points. The start, end and control points I am having with me on which basis I am drawing the curve.

Why don't you get some c/c++ grizzled veterans on your team and fix the memory leaks that have dogged FireFox ever since the beginning?

It's not plugins or extensions. This is a problem that never goes away. Memory usage creeps up into the multiple GBs (I have 12 GB of ram, the more you give the more it takes), and eventually the little OOPS Firefox crashed dialog is the only thing running. What about reviving the Electrolysis project for multi-process operation? In modern versions of IE and Chrome, this capability is so useful to kill off offending tabs.

Electrolysis is alive and well, and is currently hot on track for a future release. Please note that Electrolysis (or per-tab process) doesn't improve memory usage (In fact Chrome has significantly worse memory usage than Firefox because of it). One thing we are trying to do right is make sure we don't worsen memory usage because of Electrolysis.
Memory usage is something that's difficult to work on with little information, so if you want help please provide us some more data such as your about:support (type it in your url bar and press enter) and your about:memory (same)

So did Apple Retail Stores that sold out Friday get/sell more iPads

Was wondering if Apple Retail Stores (especially in the Philly area) that sold out their inventory of iPads on Friday night received shipments for the weekend, or did they just go all weekend with no iPads to sell? Are stores getting daily shipments? Think there is a chance they'll get some more on Monday?

Here in SF they did get a few more units. One nice person posted to CL about the downtown store having several available and no line on Saturday, but I didn't see it in time.

Who can I contact about getting some help with this ongoing (several months) issue???

I will try to make a long story at least somewhat shorter.Comcast customer for 20 years (yes - literally 20 uninterrupted years). 8 years of service at current address.Several months ago I restructure my bill - all my promotions etc had run out and I wanted to reduce my bill. Ended up being told my customer support that I could save money by getting the "Triple Play" (I've NEVER had comcast phone service, I have my own VOIP phone solution). They told me I didn't have to "use" the phone, just getting it hooked up would save me money. Fine.Internet service was not supposed to have been touched / changed at all. A few days after making these changes, a large box from Comcast shows up at the house. It has TWO cable modems in the box. Not sure why they sent them - I already had the latest cable modem (that was capable of supporting the phone service they needed to activate). Notified comcast about the shipment. They said don't worry about it. Okay, I left them in the box. Tech shows up at house while I'm working. Wife called and I talked to tech. He said he just needed to get some "numbers" off the modem to activate the phone service (I'm in the IT industry - I will assume he wanted MAC / SN#'s). I made sure he was making no changes to the modem itself - I've got my own home network setup. The Comcast cable modem serves as a gateway and it's in bridged mode. Always has been. I have my own router etc. So a week or so after that visit, the modem started losing connectivity. It happens almost EVERY DAY and it's almost always in the later afternoon (5:30-7pm EST) and sometimes late at night. When this happens, the ONLY way to get the connection back is to unplug modem power AND the coax cable input. It will then restart the modem and it comes back. Simply unplugging power and restarting will not do it. After multiple hours spent with support on the phone (we activated the newest modem they sent - same issue. Activated the other modem they sent - same issue. In fact they weren't able to put one of them in bridged mode at all). They said a tech needed to come out. Tech comes out - checks the feed to the house. Said there is a lot of noise in the lines. (Please note that there is one main comcast feed to my house - it splits outside (in the comcast locked box) into two feeds which enter the house. One feed splits and runs the upstairs TV's (Digital Adapters) and the downstairs STB / DVR. The other feed goes DIRECTLY to my cable modem. I ran those feeds myself when I moved in this house. Never had an issue before. Cable TV never has issue - only internet. So the tech replaced some ends on the upstairs line (Cable TV - he said that signal noise could cause issues with the internet). I then helped the tech run a BRAND NEW line from the split at the comcast box, directly to the modem. He said the signal / noise looked much better. Next day - same ISSUE - modem dropped connection. Pull power and coax cable, reseat, modem restarts, signal comes back. I called support again. They gave me an incident #. Said they would have a "Crew supervisor" contact me, since it's obvious the problem lies outside of my home. A tech called and left a voice mail on my phone (was working when it came in, couldn't answer). They did not leave a call back number. Called support again. They told me a tech would call me back and was advised to leave a call back number. That was MONDAY of last week. Haven't heard anything. The contact # is my cell...no missed calls. Is there another number I can call or email address so I can escalate this issue? Having to disconnect / reconnect the modem EVERY DAY at least once is getting tiresome. I'm in the Richmond Virginia area if it matters at all. Thanks.

When we tried to restore the last back up - the only one was from when she used my itunes 6 months ago which was from her old iphone. So now it has put all her photos from her old phone onto her new iphone and deleted all the new ones. We cannot find her new photos. Please help and there was 100 new pics. It restored the backup that was made on your computer 6 months ago, which did not contain those photos. You're wasting your time trying to find them on the phone. They don't exist.
Hopefully, your friend syncs her phone to her own computer on a regular basis. She needs to plug her phone into her computer and restore it from her last backup. That will restore it to the state it was in when the backup was made.
She also needs to get in the habit of extracting the photos on a regular basis, like she would from any other digital camera.

If the third link you posted (the link containing the word "majority") does not look like the following then you inadvertently installed adware.

Can I get some help?

I'm doing some research for a project and I'm running up against a wall.
I need to track the position of a LinkElement and draw an image next to it. So far I've been able to find the y position of a link and draw an image next to it. But it's super buggy. First, you have to add about 7 or 8 links before the tracking will work correctly and then the tracking isn't very smooth.
Can anyone take a look at what I have and offer some suggestions?
I'm using TLF 447 and SDK 4.0.0.8031

Hmmm did you try it a second time? Perhaps hold the power button down for 15 seconds.
Did you try restarting with just the power cord and no battery?

I had changed my Desktop image earlier but when the "Installing 1 item" window came up it changed back to the back ground that you first see on your desktop after installation.
Leopard installs updates a bit differently. If it's simply an application that does not change system files, it installs them like before, without having to restart. If the update is to the system, then you must immediately "restart," It then goes to that stars and purple screen to perform the installation. Before, it would do the installation while you still had control of the Mac and would prompt you to restart when it finished the installation. This change probably make things more secure and reliable, because you aren't allowed to do other things on the Mac while system updates are being installed.

What's the origin of this external drive? It sounds very much like it's a Windows-formatted (NTFS) drive which Macs can't write to. If you can, copy the files off the drive, reformat it as Mac format (using Disk Utility) and copy the files back. If you need to continue writing to it from a Windows PC, you should format it ExFAT in Disk Utility.
