My IPad mini has the least amount of storage and I was getting messages that I was running out of space. My grandchildren were playing games on it and it locked up. Now I cant get it opened to buy storage on ICloud. Siri talks and I get a tone when an email comes in, but beyond that the screen is black. What can I do to make it useable again?

Purchasing iCloud storage will not help you. You are out of memory on the physical device itself. You can try a reset (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). If the Apple appears, the reset is successful, and your Home screen will display shortly.
Don't waste your money purchasing additional iCloud storage. It won't help you.
Instead, go to Settings>General>Usage, and under the Storage section at the top, see what is taking up so much memory. If you need to delete some Apps, click on the App in this screen and it will take you to a screen that will allow you to delete it. Then you can just click the back arrow at the top to return to the Usage screen and select additional Apps to delete.
If your photos are taking up a lot of room, then import them to the Mac or PC you sync with. Once you have verified they have successfully imported, you can then safely delete them from the device.
If your Mail or Messages is taking up a lot of memory, delete any mail or messages that contain videos. They take up a ton of room.
That's about all you can do to get your memory consumption down. Check that screen and manage what you have on your device.

Help new itunes upgrade won't open even when ipod is plugged in

Ok so evey time I click on the itunes icon in my start menu or plug in my ipod my computer makes that thinking noise they usually make when opening something and then nothing happens. I've also tried going into the itunes folder and clicking on files there and putting a cd in at which point no announcement comes up anymore asking me what I want the computer to do with it.
I don't know what to do and it's really frustrating! Please if anyone can help that would be hugely appreciated.

That "itunes.exe process that will not die" is a familiar symptom ... What make and model of firewall are you running? Is it *Norton Internet Security 2005* by any chance?
I also just upgraded, itunes does not run, itunes.exe process comes up. I can end it though. Quicktime works, I also tried the 7.2 downgrade for quicktime also. I just uninstalled mcaffee, and also tried the msconfig troubleshooting, still no dice. I want the new ipod touch update, but I cant get it.

hi , can someone guide me to restore my iphone? I was downloading ios 6 but i think it was stuck and after that my phone just freeze with the apple icon. I keep following the instruction to press HOME and POWER OFF button then try to get it boot up to recovery mode but failed. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Check your firewall settings to make sure IE is unblocked. Check the IE Tools menu -> Internet Options Advanced tab. If you've changed these, there's a handy "reset to default settings" button there. If it's Vista, make sure you don't have parental controls turned on and blocking web access.

i have tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling ipod and itunes, when i try to use the ipod updater it says my ipod is not recognized and i am going crazy!! i have tried jsut about everyhtin on the apple site on the page that says "windows recognizes my ipod but itunes doesnt" is taking it to the apple store my best bet or is there something i am mssing??? plz plz help!!

IWow in iTunes, cant get rid of it

Wondering can anybody help me out. I downloaded the SRS iWow plug in for iTunes. The demo expired, and now the registration window pops up when i start up iTunes. If i hit the cancel button it still just hangs there. And with the window popped up i cant use iTunes. I have to force quit and try again. How do i get rid of this?`I have tried everything to get rid of it. Clean App cant even find a file called iWow on my Mac. Stupid plug in. . .

I recall having this issue. By going to LIBRARY > PREFERENCES . You will find a file there to trash. Also, if you empty the trash, you can redownload iWow and have another free week of usage.....I bought it though.

Please Help! Itunes Store won't open... just a white screen...

So... after spending a couple days first trying to get itunes updated to the latest version miraculously I managed to find a way to install it... Aweso- wait... why won't my Itunes store open? In all seriousness, For some reason whenever I try to access the Itunes store the loading bar appears, fills up to about halfway, then disappears but all that is there is a blank, white area where everything should be... Sometimes an back arrow will light up when I should be in the Itunes store, so I click it and get slammed with an error message- unknown error occure (-1202). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, that didn't work; I tried the parental controls trick with iTunes U, that didn't work; I tried praying to the computer and screaming at the computer and, of course, that did not work. I have no idea what to do to access the iTunes Store which is freaking me out because there are a couple songs I've must have before next Sunday for a dance show so this has been driving me crazy. If anyone knows of a solution please respond because panic mode is activating right now. My OS is Windows 7 if that means anything important...

My computer sounded like the Moto GP bike races everytime I launched Itunes and also other programs.....After launching AUTORUNS for windows (on my OS 7) I discovered a lot of FORCED INTERFACE programs with No publishers under Winsock providers that was shaded in red...... I deleted that forced interface Sht in autoruns and my laptop is normal again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can Finally Sycn My Iphone with Itunes again, and connect to Itunes Store.......

Dashboard Help!! Cant get into dashboard to delete PowerPC Widget

I recently downloaded a widget to my dashboard and now when I attempt to go into dashboard I receive an error message that boots me out of dashboard and onto my desktop. The error message reads "You can't open the application motion because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." I want to delete the widget, but I am unable to because I get kicked out of dashboard before I am able to hit the plus sign to delete the widget.
I was wondering if there was any other way to delete a widget besides going into Dashboard or if there are any other ways to fix my problem.
I am using a Macbook Pro Early 2011 edition Mac OS X Lion 10.7

You should be able to delete it from the widgets folder in your home Library (~/Library/Widgets).
To get into your home Library, hold the option key down while activating the Go menu in Finder.

HELP! I cant get my serial number activated on new computer!

My windows 7 motherboard died. I took it into Best Buy to Geek Squad to see if they could fix it and they did a complete restore! AND I didnt have a chance to deactivate my serial numbers for the software I had. The Geek Squad tech told me that wasnt a problem, that when they restored it, that deactivates my programs--but my NEW Windows 8 computer keeps giving me an error telling me my serial number is invalid!
I went on CHAT with Adobe to see what they can do, since they have record of me registering my CS4 Extended years ago. BUT she tells me that they cant do anything to help now! NOTHING! I had her talk to a supervisor and she came back and told me there was nothing they could do, that I had to buy new software! How can this be?! I even gave them my barcode to my original box and they say that wont work. I dont have my original receipt because Ive moved since then and cant find it.
Has anyone dealt with this before? What optons do I have? I dont have the $ to buy new software now. I cant be the only person that has had a computer crash on them!
Any ideas?

Where did you get your copy of Photoshop? When you Activate Photoshop Adobe's Activation Server should add Activation files onto you system and register your serial number into your Adobe ID account. You should be able to logon to your Adobe account and look at what Product you have registered and retrieve your serial numbers. I have been using Photoshop from 1995 I may have missed registering PS3 and PS5 but since the CS version registration has been part of the installation process.

Need Help Fixing iTunes and Getting Songs To Play

I have been having trouble with iTunes ever since transferring to a new computer several months ago. Fist of all, a different iTunes downloaded on the new computer that I don't know how to navigate or find anything on (and I HATE it!). After 2 or 3 months I finally figured out how to transfer my songs from the old computer to the new, but was not able to transfer the playlists. Very unhappy with that, but at least was able to put new songs on my iPod again. Today when I went onto iTunes it asked if I wanted to download the new upgrade, so I clicked yes and restarted computer when prompted. After the computer restarted I went back to iTunes and got an error message that said some things were missing and I needed to reinstall iTunes (I don't remember exactly what it said). I didn't know what to do so I Xed out of iTunes and turned it back on. A box asked if I wanted to reinstall and fix iTunes or untinstall -- I clicked the first one, to reinstall and fix and replace what was missing. After that I went back into my iTunes and discovered that most of my songs won't play. I get an error message saying "could not be used because the original file could not be found." I also found it unusual that I have purchased over a hundred songs over the years but when I click on "Purchased Songs" it only lists 20. I have hated iTunes ever since switching from my crashing XP computer to my new Windows 7 computer. Does anyone know how I can get all of my songs to play? Or how I can get my playlists back? when I plugged my iPod in months ago I thought the playlists might transfer to the computer from the iPod, but they didn't. I want to change some of the songs on my playlists and add more but I can't. Now I can't even play most of my songs. I am very distraught! Thank you for any help!!!

As M has noted, the more info that is presented in the question the quicker you will get a constructive answer. No one can read anothers mind. It is an art to write what ones thought are.
I will assume that you mean "default" as being your internal speakers. To change your sound output - assuming that is your question - go to System prefs and select SOUND. If there are any other sound output options then it would be listed and you can make your selection of speakers.
