Help me,JSP is not recognizing the class which in in jar under root of ear

I am not able to get the HttpUtil class in my JSP.Above is my declaration .I am getting compilation error.
The HttpUtil class is under components package,which was in components.jar.
And it is kept under root of ear.And the classpath for web is having entry of that jar.
Please help me

I changed the <form> in the jsp to div and its working fine. I do not need to have comments in JavaScript funcion() anymore. I don't know why that made the difference though? According to:

The <form> tag is used to create an HTML form for user input.
The <form> element can contain one or more of the following form elements:

An HTML form is used to pass data to a server.
I do have <button> and also send the data - the value of checkboxes - to server. So I think it should also work with <form>.

Let's get this straight first: ClassNotFoundException is something that happens at runtime; that means you must have been able to compile your program successfully. So it is not the "java compiler not recognising the class".
What does your classpath look like exactly?
Is the class you are trying to use in a package?
Are you correctly importing the class?
Look inside the JAR files in your classpath to check if the class is really present in one of the JAR files.
If you were able to compile the code successfully but you get an error while running it, then the compiler must have been able to find the class while you were compiling it. Are you passing the same classpath to the Java runtime environment as what you are using when you were compiling your code?
And by the way, you posted this question in the forum about generics, but your question does not have anything to do with generics. Please post your questions in the appropriate forum in the future.

I suggest a couple of things. First restart your Apple TV in this manner from Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation): How to restart your Apple TV, found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3180.
Restarting your Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation) using the onscreen menu
If you have Apple TV software 5.0 or later installed, you can restart your Apple TV using the onscreen menu. To restart your Apple TV choose Settings > General > Restart.
If after that you still cannot see the update on the Apple TV, then I recommend restoring it using iTunes.

This link shows that ACR 8.3 supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.

So you can upgrade to CS6 and ACR 8.7.1
or using the DNG converter, convert your Nikon raw files to dng format to open in CS5.

So here's some steps to take to get the Mac to recognize your camera.
1. Try it more than a few times, sometimes it can take 2-4 attempts to get iMovie to recognize a camera for the first time.
2. Always get the power adapter for your camera out of the bag. Hook it to the wall outlet, then plug your camera into that. Don't run it off the battery.
3. With the camera plugged into the wall, in DV playback mode. Hit play and just let it play video out continuously, then reboot the Mac. As soon as you see the desktop, launch iMovie. Go to File Menu > Import from Camera and see if the Capture window opens with your video playing through.
4. Make sure iPhoto doesn't try to launch itself automatically when it detects your camera has been connected to the Mac. Sometimes it tries to steal the videos off of a camera and 'blocks' iMovie from seeing the camera when it's attached. So make sure iPhoto hasn't interecepted your camera and is not running at all when you launch iMovie

My hp dm3-3027cl card reader can not recognize the class 10 sdhc card. I downloaded and installed the card reader driver from HP web site for this dm3-3027cl, but still have same problem. There isn't a problem on class 6 SDHC card. It seems some other computers have the same problem on reading the class 10 SDHC card. My toshiba e105 laptop has no probblem to read class 10 SDHC card.

The possible reason could be that class is not present in project class path.
Check the following location to make sure the project is configured with source and required libraries
- Project > Properties > Java Build Path > Source Tab / Libraries Tab

We have a requirement to do https post outside our network. I'm trying to tunnel through a proxy by setting system properties.
System.setProperty("ssl.proxyHost",myProxy );
System.setProperty("ssl.proxyPort",80 );
but some how weblogic.net.http.HttpsURLConnect is not recognizing the above settings and trying to post data directly.
we are currently on weblogic 8.1 sp1. Could some one please help me on this.

1/- Try setting the properties in your start up script :
JAVA_OPTIONS="-Dssl.proxyHost=proxy -D....
2/- Try an upgrade to WLS8.1 SP3

you can try system restore first and go back to the date when your notebook is still working fine...
