  • Why does my Muvo TX FM Mp3 player pau

I received a Muvo TX FM Mp3 player for Christmas. It functioned normally for a short time. Then it started automatically pausing at the beginning of a particular song. I deleted that song and then put it back on the player. Now that song is fine and the player pauses at the beginning of a different song. What could be the problem? What can I do to fix it's Thanks to anyone who can offer help.

There are 3 wires to your headphones - left, right and common. You have a problem with the common wire so the vocals - which go the same to left and right - are cancelled out but the rest - which tends to go more to left or right - is still OK.
Try new headphones - if it's the same then there is a fault with the player.

  • Is the Creative Zen Muvo V100 2gb mp3 player go

Well yeah I had a Rio Ce200 and 2 months after I got it something came on the screen that said upgrader on it and it never goes to the menu, just stays like that...
Found out later on a forum there were about 00-50 topics with people complaining of the same problem.
Company went out of buisness and I had a 90 day warrenty..sucks to be me.
    Thinking about getting one.
    A few questions...
.How is the sound quality compared to higher end mp3 players(Creatives,Rio's, Sony, etc....)
2.How is the warrenty, lets say it breaks in 6-2 months, will they send me a new one?
3.How is music organization handled? I used Mediamonkey on my old mp3 player.
    4. Is it durable?
    5. Does it has a sd card memory expansion slot?Message Edited by dbzzx on 0-29-200704:3 PM
Please anyone? I really need help...Message Edited by dbzzx on 0-29-200707:23 PM

I've had one for about a week, so no long term experience here. My only other experience is with the Muvo Micro N200 (same as the Zen Nano Plus, just a different name) and the Zen Micro. For my main uses (jogging, dancing) it's great. To answer your questions:. Sound quality is great, as?good as the Micro. With higher bitrate files (96+) and good earbuds, you can get excellent sound.2. I don't have the?warranty in front of me, so don't know?what it is. Got mine for $34, so not too worried about this.3. Music is organized by albums in folders, three?preassigned folders (A, B, and C) and the root folder.
You put albums in?whatever folder you choose, pretty easy to use for me.4. Durable? After one week it'sis, too soon to know for sure.
You unplug part of the unit from itself in order to plug it directly into USB port on computer, this seems like?a potential weak link, but?people who've had it'sfor a while say it hasn't been a problem. The design is very similar to my Muvo Micro?N200, which has been very durable. On Amazon one person describes running it through their washer and dryer, it still worked.5. No expansion slot. I'd suggest going to Amazon?and read reviews there, I think they'll be better balanced than anything you might read here. People who are unhappy with their player tend to show up here looking for answers, the people who are happy with it'sseem to silently enjoy it rather than log on here?just to praise it.

  • I need help finding the best Creative MP3 player for

I've been searching through the product literature and not finding the information I need to make my decision. I'm hoping the people here might be able to help.
I need one that does MOST if not all of the following:
    ) Audible audio book support.
This is mandatory since 75% of my usage is books on the commute. If the player will have support "soon" as in the next month, then that is OK. I can limp along with my current player.
    2) Bookmarks.
Since I mostly listen to books I need to be able to resume play at any point. It would be great if the player supported a bookmark per file, but I could handle one that only remembered the current position.
    3) In-Car use.
By this I mean that it can receive power from a car adapter and will auto shut off and remember the playing position when the power is turned off. I was thinking of using a USB power adapter for the MuVo Tx FM, but I don't know if it will actually play when powered that way. I dri've 2hrs a day and that eats batteries too fast to not use the car power.
    Thanks for the help =)

    Altair,
The Zen Xtra is the player you want. It currently has all three of the features you want available.
) It supports Audible with the latest firmware.
    2) It has a bookmark feature that lets you set multiple bookmarks and recall the position.
    3) It has a car mode that makes it shutdown when you turn off your car (assuming that your car outlet turns off when the keys are removed) and restart at where it was when you turn the car back on.

  • Help With MuVo V2

To anyone who can spare 5 minutes to read this and give me feedback, I will be very greatful for your help =)
I switched off my mp3 player (it's a MuVo V200) to the radio mode. When I switched it on I wanted to return it to the music mode, and it automatically switches off.
At first I thought it was the battery- i have bought batteries of 2 different brands and both have not worked.
Has anyone faced the same problem? How did you fix it's
Once again, thank you for reading this and I hope you are able to help me =)

That was frustrating me also, could not find my device, but as you suggested, I changed the country to germany and guessed my way through selecting device, etc. Muvo V200 is what I have. I downloaded and executed the mstorage file, and the folder ends up at the programs folder... creative... mstorage and I do see in there the two .inf files and the one log file says everything installed correctly . However I am running windows 98 and for the life of me, I point the wizard directly to the mstorage folder and it still says it cannot find the driver. I also downloaded both the Muvo V200 installation program and the other program to organize the music and transfer, etc,. both of them requires the device to be connecte and detected in order to finalize installation, so I am like the chicken and the egg going in circles... I thought the Installation program would take care of everything but it just hangs up on detecting the device which of course it will never detect because I cannot get the device to install... you see how I am going in circles... This was a promotion from SBC when I ordered dsl and dish, so I am not too worried since I did not pay for it, but it came without the installatin disc, we are supposed to download everything from the site... I am frustrated... anything you can help with will be greatly appreciated... I have two USB ports, I have tried both they are 2.0 by the way.. I also have 2 extra USP ports from the keyboard those don't work either, even though they work fine for my digital camera and my webcam...,,, now I am rambling... Please help

  • Lookin for a mp3 player... freakin out a

    hey y'all
i'm looking for micro dri've mp3 player and I'm checking out products such as ipod mini, creative zen micro and others as well. After checking out each player i see flaws such as mini have no battery replaceable, have to buy adapter and USB separately and its expensi've about 20 bucks more than creative zen micro. creative zen micro is cheaper than ipod, better sound than mini, battery replaceable.
based on these features, flaws and things i'm have been hearing about, i really dont know which mp3 i want to get. Its kinda freaking me out and i'm a careful guy cause i hate being ripoff and i dont want to go through a hassle to go back and complain about it.
Can y'all help me find the right mp3 player for me? if you have any questions about my expectations to reduce options of selecting mp3 player... send some questions
    thank guys
    Mulak

Micro also has fm radio, voice recording, and is better Also, the micro doesnot come with a power adaptor (it does have the USB though)
Don't be too afraid about the problems you see on these boards. Only a small percentage of mp3 players break. Creative is very good with replacing broken micros (especially any with a broken headphone jack), I don't know how good apple is though.
I would go with a micro, it is very good for the price, (the removable battery is helpful) and it comes with more accessories and extra features. If there are any problems with the micro, Creative will replace it (so don't worry about getting ripped off with a micro )
Also, what size mp3 player do you need? And do you want the extra features of the micro (like fm radio). If not, you might also want to look at the zen touch. Message Edited by penguinking3 on 05-29-2005 06:3 AM

  • Building MP3 player in Java

How to build a MP3 player in java using Applet or other interfaces. Is it necessary to include extra classes apart from those in JDK 1.2? Please help me in constructing a MP3 player in Java.

    I forgot the URL :
    http://www.javazoom.net/javalayer/javalayer.html
An alternative to MP3 could be OggVorbis format.
We've just made an Ogg Vorbis SPI (Service Provider Interface) for Java based on JOrbis library.
What is SPI ? It's the way JAVA (through JavaSound API plays sound, regardless to the format.
In others words we've made a "Vorbis Driver" that could be plugged to ANY Java music player.

  • FM Radio in MP3 Player Not Work

The FM Radio Autoscan function of my newly bought 256MB MuVo TX FM MP3 player does not seem to be functioning properly.
During the st time I performed autoscanning, the player was only able to register a few radio channels. Channels like 93.3FM and 92.4FM were missing. Hence, I tried a second time. Again, some of the channels were missing after autoscanning was completed.
I brought the MP3 player with me while I travelled on the bus and tried listening to the few channels and realised that the channels which I could receive on my player depended on the region the bus was in. At some places, all the preset channels were available for listening. At certain areas, only 2 preset channels could be heard.
After I went back home, I decided to try my luck at the autoscanning again. This time, I was not able to get ANY channels registered on my player. I have tried umpteen times but to no avail.
Are the radio and autoscan functions of my player faulty?

    fischeri,
That is normal for auto-scanning. Auto scanning depend greatly on the reciption of the radio signal. If the signal is not strong enough, the auto scanning will not lock and register the station and will continue to scroll to the next strongest available signal. Can you manually lock the preset station?

  • I can't get my music to download to my MP3 Player

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available
Every time I try to put music on my MP3 Player some gets on it and the rest have this error message. I have been messing with it for weeks and I can't figure it out. I am about to just throw away my computer!!!!!!!!

Please help. I have an mp3 player and cannot figure out how to download music in it. I created a file in Spotify, media player & iTunes. How do I get the mp3 out of properties? thanks

Have you consulted the User Manual for the MP3 Player or contacted the Technical Support of the MP3 Player manufacturer?
The MP3 Player User Manual should have step-by-step instructions on how to do this with their hardware.
This is not a Windows related problem.  This is your MP3 player's problem and you need to contact the manufacturer of your MP3 player if you are unable to get it to function as intended.  The manufacturer of the MP3 player has sole responsibility
for support of their product, not Microsoft!

  • Mp3 player 512M MuVo TX FM please help

I just bought a Mp3 player 52M MoVo TX FM. This player support USB2(480Mbps) but when I copy Mp3 files from my PC to this player, it copy speed just 300KB+ and when I copy from this player to PC - it copy speed is 2MB+. It speed very low when copy from PC to MP3 player. I met some wrong. Do you like my problems ? thank for your reading.

Yes, but you'd have to have a very very VERY low specced PC to have transfers of 300kb/s.
I would double check that the ports you are using are USB2. Often the front ports on a PC are USB or simply not particularly good.
Also test the player with another PC if you can.

  • No support for Muvo NX 128 mb mp3 player data recove

I'm from Singapore, one of the reason I'm posting this on the forum is to seek help and broadcasting of my helpless situation I'm in, for awareness.
I have a Creative Muvo NX 28 mb mp3 player, own for more then three years, without giving me problems and works almost prefectly fine. Its a good piece of device I would recommend to friends who love music and work a the same time. The piece of device can store 28 mb of files. Of course you have 52mb anf g of muvo which are better compared to mine.
Until recently, the device failed on me and the windows OS was not responding to open my dri'ves whenever I insert the muvo device. After series of diagnosis, it was certify by me that its a hardward mare-function. But Amazingly it was still able to play music when in a mp3 player mode, but unable to read the flash dri've on a window base OS which I usually can.
For studing the problems, I have to go through salvation to open the player phyiscally.
Knowing that my warranty has long gone, I decided to recovery by myself and realise something the device is made up of two circuit boards. Its over technical to explain what I saw and to cut short, my data in the memory is not dmg and is believe it can be recoverable possibly!
I hope creative support would help me as the data are important, not music but work related files.
Unfortunately I approach the Asia Service Support, supposely to be the best but ended up wasn't successful to RESOLVE MY PROBLEM.
To make matter worst, the muvo NX 28mb player is not avaliable in the market easy and I have troubles getting the parts to fix the broken device
For the benefit of those who are using memory flash-base mp3 players, CREATIVE does not offer a DATA recovery service, even if it happens that you need to retrieve important data stored in those players which in case happens to fail on you!
In the end, this happens to me all the time in Singapore..i couldn't get a satisfying support from Creative... I have learned that Creative are not competent in supporting repairs or data recovery for older creative users like me..
I have sort out everything I could, and hope someone can help me out in getting those files back...

  • How to transfer all music in my Zen Micro to either my PC or another mp3 player....help ple

i have a creative micro zen with about 000 handpicked and some very hard to find songs on it...i don't really have trouble with the player itself, just the software and the continous problems seems like everyone is having with something... my question is this..........if i wanted to get another mp3 player as a backup in case this one crashes, then what does everyone think about one of the smaller ipods? what about their software and such? and, if i do decide to get an ipod, then how would i transfer all these 000 mp3 songs onto the new ipod? would there be an issue with the fact that they are not bought from itunes?? would it not be safe to do that? and if it is okay to do that,? how would i transfer the songs back onto my PC, as i have tried everything suggested on this board recently in trying to do that using Mediasource and it just won't work even after downloading all new plugins etc. if someone has an idea about this, please let me know step by step if possible about how i can get these songs that are valuable to me from my zen micro, to my computer, and then onto another mp3 and if ipod (nano for instance) is a wise choice or if there is another player in the same category that others have found they have waaaay less problems with and better support/service with it's?any help anyone gives would be greatly appreciated!? i appreciate all the suggestions to my other questions as well!?thanks, barb

for a new mp3 player, i would get this one, its awesome (and the one i would get if i had a choice instead of my microphoto that broke)... here's a link
http://reviews.cnet.com/Samsung_YP_T9_4GB_black/4505-6499_7-3208083.html the 4gb one is $80, the 2gb one is $30... so thats cheaper than an ipod, and much better features and stuff

  • Can I transfer my itunes to a MP3 player?  newbie, help please

Hi, I need your help. I have a HP Media Center PC with all bells and whistles. I just learned about itunes. I downloaded a free song. I have also gotten 5 songs for free from a website called Connect (run by Sony).
what I was expecting to do was to go to Radio shack and purchase an MP3 player for $59.99. It's about all I can afford.
then I found out that the songs I downloaded from Connect cannot be transferred to an mp3 player unless it is a Sony MP3 player. The mp3 player in Radio Shack was not a Sony. but I did ask the salesman if I could do itunes with this and he said "sure". but I'm not sure now. I have read about all kinds of formats with downloading these songs. such as OPENMG format and something called ATRAC. See where I'm getting confused?
What I need to know is this: If I purchase songs from itunes and it goes on my hard drive, can I then purchase the mp3 player and transfer the songs so I can go for a walk and play my mp3 player. I can't afford an ipod.
Do I have to buy a special mp3 player to be able to use itunes. I can't find any information on this on the site.
I am a disabled person and could use some help.
thanks to anybody who can help me. Just need to know exactly what I should be buying to play songs on and do I have to download the songs in a special way or does itunes just do it for me. Also, I don't have an apple computer. but I have an APPLE user ID. Very confusing.

Okay, let me see if I have this right.
I have a HP Pavillion Media Center. this should allow me to burn cds, right? I have never done this in my life but believe me I learn fast. I have two drives that I'm looking at right now on my tower.
The top drive says LightScribe DVD+-/CD Writer
The other drive says CD rom.
I presume, to burn a cd (or whatever it's called), I use the top Lightscribe thing, right?
so I guess I have to get a blank cd rewritable thing, place it in the top drive and copy the sonic stage (sony) songs onto that right? then I can get the ipod and transfer from the newly burned cd into the ipod, right?
I have absolutely no idea how to accomplish this but I'm willing to at least do the first step and burn the cd.
Now, here's my question. Many years ago, when I had my other HP pavillion,it came with a re-writable drive. I tried to burn something to it and I did not know what I was doing. I do remember that the cd was some kind of RW thing.
I probably have one of those in my house. They are over 5 years old. Is this what I have to use to put the songs on it.
do I have to go to the computer store and buy a new blank cd-rw (if that is indeed what I will be using).
I want to know exactly what kind of blank cd thing I have to put in the drive. And do I use the one marked Lightscribe.
See, once I know what to do, I'll figure out how to do it.
I'm going to search my room to find one of the old blank ones but I won't use it until you say, "yes, use it.".
I know I used to have a case of them. Never used them but they are still around.
Are they still compatible with my windows xp, HP Pavillion media center.
And I should tell you what I tried to do last night. I was researching all about converting files and I saw something that said "drag the files into your itunes folder and you should have the songs in their". so stupid me, I go to my start menu, open up the explore thing, I find the "sonic stage" thing, I see the itunes thing, I dragged and sonic stage into the itunes thing and sure enough, right in front of me a little message popped up showing me it was "copying files to itunes". So I said "holy sh*t, I actually did it", "i'm going to see my songs in my itunes folder". Well, that didn't happen. I opened up my itunes library and only my original itunes song was there. No songs from the sonic stage library was put in.
I have no idea what was copied into what. So what exactly did I do?
thanks for any help about the cd burning thing.
I mean, I have this HP Pavillion Media Center and I want to be able to figure out how to use it before I turn 80.
    Thanks much.
    Melody
