Help me!!!!! my iphone 4 will not turn back on HELP
i was watching a movie in my living room and the last time i looked at my phone it was at 40% and the next thing i know that it is turned off and will not show any sign of turning back on
Charge it for 30 minutes with the wall adapter. Then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. If nothing happens your phone has expired, or at least has a bad battery.

My iphone 5 died and will not turn back on. Ive tried everything from wiggling the mute button to pressing both home and lock buttom together. Its had 9hours charging time and still nothing. I know that the charger is in working order as i tried it on my boyfriends phone and it charged the iphone without fail. I havent dropped the phone or got it wet to give it water damage so its extremely odd how it suddenly wont work. I didnt purchase the phone from apple but a company that sells second hand phones...meaning my serial number isnt valid for sending it to be serviced with apple. Any suggestions? many thanks.Try holding down the home button and power button together while the phone is connected to power. If that doesn't work you would want to try putting the phone into recovery mode (hold down home button, and while you're holding the home button down connect it to a computer with iTunes opened up). Hopefully you won't have to do the recovery mode option because that would erase your phone but that usually gets the phone turned on. Hope this helps!

IPhone 4 will not turn back on no water damage
My Iphone 4 will absolutely not turn back on. I've tried everything I've read online. I tried resetting it by pressing both the home and power switch for 10 seconds, then I plugged it in and tried that again. There is no water damage, and it froze when I was taking a picture so I put it in my purse and when I took it out it had turned itself off. ITunes isn't recognizing that it is plugged in, and I've tried charging it for a while and it still isn't turning on. There is a little light coming from the headphone jack too...
HELP!Light coming from the headphone jack...? Why do you feel the need to specify that there was no water damage?
Are the moisture sensors tripped?
If it won't power on at all, it sounds like you'll have to take it in to the genius bar and have it looked at. -

I have an 8GB iphone 4 through at&t and it has been dropped in water twice but dried out in rice and worked perfectly fine afterwards. However last night my daughter got aholod of it and was chewing on the top of it and when I took it away it white screened, froze at the homescreen and then shut off. It turned back on several minutes later and was perfectly fine. When I had taken it from her, it had no drool on it or anything so I don't think any water got into it. Shortly after it turned back on it shut off but not completely, the back light was still on (meaning if I went into a dark room it was a blueish black light) and I waited for the battery to die. I even put it in rice overnight to ensure that had any drool gotten inside of it, that it would dry out. I have tried connecting it to the charger, to the computer, to itunes, holding down the power button, holding down the power and home button at the same time, nothing works. I haven't called my carrier yet but I have no doubt they'll re-direct me to Apple and apple wont cover it.. any suggestions at all? Also, does anyone know the cost of a replacement phone from apple? I know it'll be expensive, but I'm under contract and kind of screwed here.

The battery could have died. Try charging your phone - just let it sit while it's charging for at least fifteen minutes. If the problem was a dead or extremely low battery, you should be able to turn it back on after it's been charging for a little while. If that doesn't do the trick, did any dirt or other debris somehow get lodged in a part of the phone? That could prevent the phone from turning on. If all else fails, call Apple Support. My iPhone 5 will not turn on. I turned it off in the morning and when i went to turn it back on in the afternoon if wouldn't turn on. I plugged it in and it began flashing the startup screen with the apple logo on it. I tried to restore it but it couldn't, can not get into apple shop until tuesday! please help
i have found my own fix plug the phone into laptop with iTunes open, Hold home and top power button, until the logo vanishes, then let go of the power button keeping hold of the home button at the bottom, it will then ask to connect to iTunes, as u have it open an attached to the computer u can click the pop up an restore the phone!!

Iphone 6 randomly shut off and will not turn back on - help!
I bought my IPhone 6 last fall from T-Mobile. My iPhone 6 was working just fine about an hour ago. Went to hit the home button to check the time and it would not turn on. It appears to have randomly shut off and now it will not turn back on. Tried holding the power button - nothing... same with the home button. Assuming I need to take it in for service, but I'm not sure if there is some easy fix for this.

Try leaving it plugged in for at least 10 minutes. Then try to do a hard reset of the device: Hold the Power button and the home button until you see the Apple Logo... may hold for at least 10 seconds if you don't see the Apple Logo popup.
If that doesn't work force recovery mode.
Press and hold the home button and connect the phone to your computer with iTunes open.
iTunes should see the phone in recovery mode and allow you to restore it.
If it still does not work, the phone may need service at this point. Call Apple Care or setup an Genius Bar appointment at a Apple Retail Store. -
My iPhone 4 will not turn on and is just displaying the itunes symbol not the apple symbol. How do I fix it? My phone died and I went to plug it in and it just displayed the itunes logo.
