Help me overclock plz

can u guys gimme some tips to overclock my cpu...i have an amd 2100+...i wanna get the best out of my computer...can u plz help

Just a little confused, you say you have 2100+ but you equipment list shows a 3000+ cpu. The are several programs you can use to help set up you BIOS to oc the cpu and fsb. You can do it manually with the mobo you have and you can start by setting the fsb to 175 and multiplier to 10. These are low numbers but they are good starts. Then if you want to go higher on the fsb, increase it by 5 but watch your temps on the cpu in PC Health of Bios. At some point the unit will not boot up if you go to far. Then you will have to reset your CMOS.
The easiest thing to due is download FuzzyLogic 4 or Core Center and let them get you into a starting range.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Need help finding overclocking settings in BIOS on my Z97 Gaming 7

Hello Folks!
As the title states I need some help finding some settings in the BIOS to help in overclocking on my awesome new MSI Z97 Gaming 7 mobo! For instance I can't find anything related to Load Line Calibration, LLC. I am unable to find additional settings for PLL and what the settings that are there do, for instance CPU PLL, the options are something like LL and SB? There is no explanation for what either of these are. These may be pretty basic things in overclocking Intel. I should also mention that I am new to Intel processors and their mobo's. I have always used AMD cpu's and overclocking seemed a bit more straight forward. This is also the first MSI motherboard I have owned so I am also new to these. I have been a great fan of MSI GPU's for years and finally had the chance to buy a motherboard and while it has been a great experience thus far I seem to be slighty behind the learning curve here. I do appreciate all the help I am able to get. I have read the guides that I have seen others pointed towards and have not really found the information I am looking for there.

I am very familiar with overclocking on the AMD platform. I have previously owned and abused the PhenomII 965BE, 1055T FX-8320 and FX-8350. I guess switching from AMD to Intel and being confronted by so many new terms and settings in the BIOS I was kind of lost. I wasn't really too concerned with the PLL per say other than just desiring to know as much about my new system and motherboard as possible. I have always been a firm believer that to get the most out of your equipment you need to know it intimately, I guess I will get there with a bit of time and perseverance! I was really mainly trying to figure out where the LLC settings would be hidden or what they would be known as with an Intel based system, this setting is usually quite important when trying to stabilize higher overclocks. I am currently running and tinkering with an OC speed of 4.7-4.8GHz @ 1.275v with temps staying ~55C. I was hoping to push a little further and was trying to give myself the best possible advantage in doing so. Again, thanks for the help and information!!!

FSB - 333
CPU Idle Temp - 45
CPU Load Temp - 50
Do you think I can increase my FSB to 375 with this CPU temp ( currently using stock fan)? what is you current FSB and temps?

HELP with overclocking 865pe neo2!

i have a P4 2.8GHz and an MSI 865PE NEO2-S mobo
anyway
ive tried sevrel times to overclock my cpu through the bios and reached 215MHz only... after that the system gets stuck even though the cpu temp isnt really high...
after a while i discoverd the overclocking option in CORE CENTER and tried to over clock through there and everything went fine but when i reached like 230MHz the system got REALLY slow
and i noticed that i dont know about the voltages that need to b changed and everything
if any1 can help plz help

Just open up those stupid side wings and you can adjust your speeds there. Like Nykon said, it's better to go in the bios and do it. Corecenter is good for checking CPU temps and fan speeds.
The Private setting falls under Dynamic Overclocking or D.O.T. for short. It's a process that's controlled through the Corecell chip that detects when the CPU is under load and adjusts your FSB accordingly. I'm not sure if it controls voltages, but I don't think that it does. The deferent settings in D.O.T. just means you are allowing for more overclocking with D.O.T. So Private would be the slowest (5% performance boost) and general would be the fastest (maybe 20-30% boost). However, when OC'ing manualy it's best to disable this function.
Performance mode just tightens up your ram timings for better performance, which you can manually do under Advanced Chipset Features.
FSB can be adjusted in your Freguency/Voltage window in bios, it is the "Adjust CPU Clock Speed" heading.
PSB stands for Pet Shop Boys, but FSB stands for Front Side Bus.

I had a similar problem with Sun App Server.If you can check the domain/log/Server.log.It explains a valid endpoint address is missing in the deployment.To do this open the deployment tool and click the Implementation class in the tree(Bean Shaped).
You can see a endpoint tab within which you need to configure the Endpoint address.
The deployment went fine after this.

Need help with overclocking my x58 pro-e

hi i have this new mb from msi and i need help fixing stability issues :
ok here i go i did the normal oc to 3.1 that needed nothing voltage wise so now i need to go pro ^^ so plz help me out and 1 more thing if u know any thing about ssd and ide mode or there is any thing better plz help me out :>
ok i tried oc it to 4.2 it runs fine tell it hangs some times and freezes or even do some restarts on its own the usual i mean for a fail oc :P if u could help me out setting up my oc in a pro way i would love u for ever ^^

OK i m back guys and sorry i took so long i tried some new O.C and i got so far as 3.7 on my cpu i saw that i had like really bad heat on the cpu on OCCT/prime and other testing programs i easily got to 95+ witch i stoop not wanting to know where it will hit :P
then i opened my pc yanked the motherboard out removed the cooler and the IOH cooler cleaned them both up reapplied the Thermal Grease witch came with my Thermaltake ISGC-400 and for extra cooling i add a sec fan on top of the cooler fan (yes it made some extra noise but it works :P ) rebuild it and tried again and the result was :
ideal temp: 60+ / load temp: 95+ / IOH temp: 85-95+ // and now :
SAME !!!! but the IOH dropped like a charm to 55 maybe 65 max .
so i know it was time to google some webpages and i saw some photos of CPU-Z all showing low core voltage and by low i mean the standard core i7 920 voltages ! mine was given by the auto bios setting so i continued searching tell i found out the higher the V.core is the high hte numbers are on the sensors !
i found out that a standard voltage will take me to 4GHz of speed so i tried it on my 3.7 (current speed )
and the result was lets just say WOW ! i think :
ideal temp 38+ / load temp: 83 (prime95) / IOH temp : 55-60 (after the cleaning / rergreasing)
so i tried it with my game (wow) and it never raise more than 65 max ! so if i over clocked it to 4K i dont think i will ever overheat it never the less i have a temp montering it with a max 85 on the alarm .
so far my tests and errors :
Multiplier= x21
bus speed = 177
voltages:
QPI: 1.30
CPU V.core : 1.28ish i cant realy tell from the bios
CPU PLL: 1.82ish same thing
speedstep=off/turbo=off/C1E=off/execute = off /over speed protection=off /V.tech=off/HPET=on(so numbers wont play much on cpu-z)
now for ram :
3x6 ratio ( in bios in windows it shows 2:6 for some reason ) DRAM frequency is showing 531 Mhz

V=1.5
any thing above these settings will crash the pc/not booting at all and i feel its not a stable system now ether so tell me what im doing wrong here please since there was a post just about like me in this forum but the man who made it never got back to you :> ty and realy sorry for the long post ^^

Help a newbie plz

Can u help answer a few questions plz. Which adobe flash player do u download on the IPhone? Gives me 2 options...option 1 Intel-based macs or Option 2 PowerPC-based Macs. current work around for sending MMS's
All you do is type in the phone number + the cell company that that person uses doamin address (Example for Tmobile: [email protected]) I went in and added the addresses of the pepole I would most likely send a MMS to to my address book. Yeah you ahve to take the time to figure out what cell company they are using but after the initial setup you are ready to go from then on. here is a list of all the cell companys tags.

A Solution can be like this.
make a static object of class vector in your main server class.
static vector connections=null;
If you are unaware of Vector class,refer any JAVA book.
you may initialise it in your constructor.
Now whenever your client connects, the thread which will be responsible for handling the connections, adds to the vector object connections. As the object connections is static, you would be able to directly call it and add the hostname of the client which just got connected. It should be something like this....
mainclass.connections.AddItem( " Hostname" );
I forgot the vector class methods for adding up items....try refering the same in a book.
This way you will be able to maintain a list of clients connected on your server.
Hope this resolves ur problem ..

Click on the shield bottom right of screen:
Select Virus and spyware protection
Select Scan your PC
Select Run a custom scan
Then there are a number of options for you to chooses what to scan.
However I would get a different anti virus software as the one thing I do not like about this is that it has a mind of its own when it comes to updates and will update when it wants to which slows the PC down and whatever you do you can not stop the update. This is very annoying if you are trying to do something which is time dependent.

Help me out plz Imac cant find my Hard drive

hello im new to imac so plz help me out here my imac specs:
model: MA199LL
intel based 1.83 core duo
160gb serial sata
My problem is i turn it on and pop up the question mark, i know that it mean that cant find my hard drive, i already tried to put the restore cds and goes fine till i need to select the destination to restore or install clean copy, my hard drive is not there i tried looking on disk utility nothing there, i tried cleanning the pram using command option P R, nothing still the same it just cant find my HDD, tried as well shutting off for 30min then turn back on again , nothing, i've seen some cases that ppl saying that they open the imac case and the hdd was umplugged? dont know if its possible dont know what else to do plz help me out? thx

What message are you receiving? You can find DiskWarrior at the Apple Store or here - http://www.alsoft.com/index.html. It's about $100US.
You can boot from the DiskWarrior CD - http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/details6.html
If DiskWarrior does not resolve the issue, then you can try an Apple Repair Station. You've lost nothing in your attempt to self-resolve because you should own the DiskWarrior software anyway.

Silly ERROR! Help Me Fix Plz

I have just successfully got Jdev 9i working again, and I went to compile my project that I was working on and got the following:
Error: initialization error: oracle.ojc.symtab.LoadError: file java\lang\Object.class not found
I didn't get this last time I tried to compile my project, which was before I rebuilt my machine the day before.
I think it has to do with not being able to find some key jsdk files. I installed J2SDK 1.4.0_01 before unzipping jdev. I assume Jdev uses its own jsdk, is this right?
And the wierd thing is if I go ctrl+F9 it errors on the second last file in the project only, so I thought I'll just delete it (no problem it wasn't needed yet anyway). But then it errored on the file before the one I just deleted. So something is way amiss here.

This is usually a configuration problem. Make sure that SetJavaHome in jdev\bin\jdev.conf
points to a valid and full JDK (not just a jre).
