Help me please cant upload site :(

Hey all, so im just trying to upload my friends website and we have all the details and as soon as we go to publish it gets about 60% way through then a message appears saying this folder path doesn't exist would you like to create this file path, i clicked on ok and then this box appears
any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey, thanks for helping me along to be honest with you im mate im new to this, im doing this for my mate she has bought the domain from godaddy.com and the hosting is supported through ipage.com i realise that the domain was still available, that was because i left out the .au at the end I just did a search on the site you provided just to double check and its listed like it should be. i havent uploaded the files to the hosting server. i didnt think you need to but now obviously i realise i have to. what i really need is one of those dummie books for ipage lol its soo confusing tbh i thought that i could just upload all the files directly from muse. but now i know i first need to upload the files to ipage and go from there.
Thanks for all your help and support through this frustrating matter sorry if i gave anyone a headache understanding my logic newbie
does anyone know of any sites that can help me understand what i need to do on ipage to get my site online like how i go about uploading the files to ipage and setting up the site to go live?

Hi, I made a site using iWeb a couple months ago and everything was fine. Last week I updated the site and announced it to a bunch of friends and about 80% could not get in or view the site. Most are on a pc, but some still were able to view it ok even on a pc. I made sure to let everyone know to capatilize the "W" in iWeb, and even told them to just copy and past the address or use our link. The email was sent using aol, not sure if that makes a difference. Please help, we use the site to update baby and family pics and now most of our friends cant view it. The site is web.mac.com/baariandolivia. username is pauls and password is macomb, no caps in either. Thanks for any help

I was able to view it after entering user/password.
You mentioned you emphasized "W" for iWeb, maybe it's just the url you sent.
I suggest you send them the exact url you noted here and just for the sake of it include the http://xxxxxxx
Now I know there may be some technicality with sending urls in some instances to PC's but if the simply copy paste they should be fine.
While I'm at it, you may want to suggest all your PC friend download firefox and use that instead of IE.

Don't know what you mean by that. When it asks where you want to save the HTML and images, you can point it to a folder in your GoLive site. Otherwise, you could just save it wherever and copy whatever it exports into GoLive (or Dreamweaver) later.

Uh Oh. Regsvr32 is a critical windows file. That first error message says a lot. Your machine could be infected with some nasty virii.

If restoring using your backup didn't work, you'll have to save as much of your data as you can (import your photos to your computer, sync your contacts and other data with iCloud, email things like Notes and Voice Memos to yourself, sync with iTunes to transfer all your purchases, etc.) and then restore it as new without using your backup.

This is a scam. Do not phone these people, at best they will charge you for unnecessary 'cleaning' and at worst they will gain access to your Mac and steal your data. You've probably managed to install some 'adware' which is producing this fake warning. 'Adwaremedic' should remove it and is safe to use - please see

Go to the iPhone
GO to Settings > Messages
Is the iPhone Number ticked to be enabled (It will be greyed out and not editable but should be On)
If it is Off (Unticked remove the Apple ID)
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minutes.
Go back to Settings Messages and make sure the Message app Is Enabled overall.
Check the iPhone Number is verifying.
When Completed test by sending an iMessage to your Apple ID (Mac)
If that works add back the Apple ID to the iPhone's Settings.
Restart the Mac App and Accept the op ups that appear as to what the iPhone is using.

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data doing a reset.
If this does not work, set it up again as new device, without using the latest backup afterwards.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

I tried updating my Iphone 4s and things went wrong. i luckily backed up my phone before hand, but now when i turn it on, it gives me a white screen (as if i just bought the phone) and its telling me to enter a apple id and password, but when i put in my own it says that it cant activate the phone with my ID. apple support just tells me to get a hold of the original BUT WHAT IF I CANT. i constantly use my phone all the time and im in the of help. PLEASE.

Then you can't use the iPhone, and Apple won't unlock it for you; the activation lock is an anti-theft measure. Sorry, but no help is available with this issue.

On opening iWeb all previous (uploaded) sites have disappeared. On opening the domain all I can recover is the many component parts, and when unzipped the code. Help! Mike

Code in a domain file - really? That is not possible because the domain.sites file does not contain any html or css code at all - the domain file is your iWeb data file and you won't see any code until you publish your website.
If you can see html code, then you have the wrong file and it is a published version of your site which iWeb can do nothing with - iWeb has no import facility so cannot open any html files.
Go back and ensure that you have the correct domain.sites files that can be found under your User Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites and if you have Mavericks then you need to go to Go and press the alt key to reveal your hidden User Library, so that you can then get to Application Support and then iWeb and then your domain.sites file.
You will also need to go and download either DomainCracker or iWebSwitch which allows you to open individual domain files under Mavericks, because from Lion onwards, you cannot open individual domain files.
Also, it says that you are still using iWeb 08? If this is so, you'll either need to upgrade to iWeb 09 by going to Amazon and purchasing the iLife 09 or 11 boxed set, both of which contain iWeb 09 or you need to switch to newer software that is actively being supported and developed such as EverWeb (http://www.everwebapp.com).
