Help me Please, Emergency Calls only.!!

Hi everyone my BlackBerry doesn't makes calls, when I tried to make calls it keep saying emergency calls only, but it shows my network and the camera doesn't work it keeps saying the disabled form the system administration.
Help me please with this problem.

Is this a language barrier problem or you just don't understand my instructions? The post is very clear.
Download and install JL_Cmder
Backup your device using Desktop manager if there is data on the phone you want to keep.
Use JL_Cmder application to "resettofactory"
Once it's done, if you need the data back, restore the backup file you made back to the device.

I have recently got an iPhone 4 out of no where it has decided to think that my headphones are in and they are not but does work with headphones in.

IPhone 3G stuck on emergency calls only screen. HELP!

Hi everyone, I really need some help.
I bought my jailbroken iPhone 3G from Hong Kong on eBay a few months back. Everything was working fine on iOS 4.2.1, except the battery life was very poor. After getting the battery replaced there was no improvement. So my boyfriend suggested I try restoring the phone with iTunes as it was supposed to improve the battery life.
I plugged my phone in and went through the restore process, only to receive "iTunes Error 1015". After this my iPhone went into recovery mode and stayed put. I tried using a YouTube tutorial and TinyUmbrella to help me out of the error, but it only made my phone go to the "Emergency calls only" screen and now the phone will not appear in iTunes as it says the SIM card that has worked perfectly with iTunes every other time is not supported. I am at a total loss as for what I am meant to do. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

All sorts of things can go wrong with jailbroken phones, it's never a good idea to do so. Not to mention, it means you won't be getting much help on here.

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

I agree with wjosten. Sounds like a sim card issue. Was your sim card removed from a working,activated phone? I've switched sim cards in an iphone multilple times and never had a problem. You might try removing the sim card and reinstalling.

How to fix "No Network is available, Emergency call only"

I am overseas on business trip. I was able to text and received text for about 10 hours on landing. I had the global roaming activated before leaving US. Now I am getting No Network is available Emergency calls only message, Can't text, place a call or receive text or call. Please help. Does anybody has VW Emergency Tech Support email. Update software, up all night, emergency calls only, or restore.

Everytime I update the software I'm up all night trying to get my phone to work again. As soon as the software is loaded I get the emergency calls only screen on my phone. It takes hours of playing around, restarting, rebooting, Norton goback, you name it to get my phone to restore which takes hours. Why does a simple "upgrade" set me back so far. I have to plan it for weekends when I can stay up all night.
Help. Apple do something!!!!

While very thorough, the one thing I don't think I see in your list is unlocking your BB from it's original carrier (a prerequisite for using it on a different carrier). See this FAQ.

Vodafone Network - Emergency Calls Only

Hello
Earlier today my phone kept blinking in and out of reception for calls. I am with Vodafone network and it kept coming up emergency calls only . . . then . . .
My phone fell into the pool i did manage to pull it out and took it apart and dried it out - it is working again
Its working fine for msg but says its connected to vodafone network (on and off like earlier) and yet it will not let me place any calls it says emergency calls only . . . any tips?

Do everything it says, including waiting the maximum recommended time (perhaps longer...perhaps 5 days). Applying power to your BB between it getting wet and doing this process reduces the chances of success. Further, the only thing predictable about moisture intrusion into a BB (indeed, any electronic device) is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some come back up right away and be fine. I've seen others never work at all. I've seen still others run for a bit, and then die later. And every thing in between.

IPhone4: Stuck on on emergency calls only

Hi i recently got a problem with my iphone whenever i turn it on theres a connect to itunes logo then says restore needed or emergency calls only, and when i connect it to itunes it says " itunes could not connect to iPhone "my iphone" because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcose on the iPhone before it can be used with itunes.
I have tried other steps around this to restore my phone but i dont have my phone backed up so i will loose all my photos.
If anyone knows how i can get around this and back up my phone please help me out

There is no way around this. You will have to put the phone in recovery mode (google for instructions) and restore it. If it was not backed up, your data will be lost. It can not be backed up in the state it is in.

"emergency calls only" - but only sometimes!

Hi everyone,
I bought the new iphone 4, and it worked just fine. The guy at the store (mobile phones store) inserted microsim, activated the device and everything was fine untill it was turned off by me. Then, when i would power it on, it would present the "emergency calls only" screen, but not allways! if you w8 for some time, try again, you can power it on normally, and again, if you power it down, and try again, guess what: "emergency calls only".
The craziest thing is that it gets the carrier signal once i turn it on successfully, but losses it after a few moments saying "no service".
Any idea on what could be the problem here?
i tried restoring with itunes, but except for losing all the data, it didn't really help....
do you think this is a sim card issue, or some hardware issue with the iphone?

y, i forgot to say, that the "emergency calls only" screen, was also "connect to itunes" screen... sry

Z30 Emergency Calls Only

Hi,
I have been using Z30 for about 3 months and it was fine until sunday. I made a call on sunday night before going to bed. When I wake up in the morning, to my surprise, i see the phone was switched to EMERGENCY CALLS mode. I swapped SIM, toggled airplane and Mobile Network. Even I tried the Network Selection mode to manual/automatic. Everything went unsuccessful.
I can use the same SIM in the other phone.
Please advise how the EMERGENCY CALLS only mode can be changed.
One more thing, 2 days before the phone OS was updated to 10.3.1.1767.

Can you try: Turn on Airplane mode --> Reset Phone (using either method I said earlier) --> Turn off airplane mode and check if signal is back ?
Also a couple of other quick questions. When you put network settings to "manual", does it show a list of available networks ?
Can you also tell me the Radio Version you have from: Settings --> About --> OS (from dropdown) ? Is it 10.3.1.2559 (just want to see if it same as my phone)

Emergency call only mode, how to get out?

I was downloading the Samsung Kies app and then my phone went into Emergency call only mode. I have tried power down, take the battery out, reboot and recover mode and it comes back to the same, emergency call only mode. What do I do?

I also had this problem recently and did search on Google and found this very nice guide to handle a no service or emergency calls only issue. Hope this will help you too or other people who will have the same problem. Here is the link for that.

Emergency calls only after OS upgrade

Hi,
After the last main OS upgrade my phone constantly switches from having a full single to "Emergency calls only", if i restart the phone it will sometimes pick the network up again.
I thought the issue was related to the sim card at first so i got this swapped at Vodafone however this has not ressolved the issue, driving me nuts any help would be great thank you

I think your solution is to upgrade the OS. If there isn't an official upgrade from your carrier, unofficial methods (Sachesi) may be what you want to do.

No signal for over an hour now. Emergency calls only!

I've had no signal on my phone for over an hour now, states emergency calls only. I've tried rebooting it a few times but makes no difference. Anyone else experiencing this?

Emergency Call Only

Hi,
My iphone 4 has been playing up for the last couple of weeks, but now it seems a simple turn off or soft reboot won't fix it.
Basically, the phone just drops signal in the middle of something, and when I try and turn it back on, I get the emergency call only window. No matter how many times I try and turn it off, it doesn't go away.
Problem is, I tried to plug it into itunes, but itunes is saying I have a passcode so must enter that first, but cannot do that as it won't get off the emergency call window.
Any suggestions? I can't get to an apple store for another week, and I now have no way of getting in touch with people, and I have some important calls to make. These things seem to happen at the worst time!

Out of nowhere, my iphone 4 went into emergency call (in every language) and instructed me to plug into itunes. I rushed into the At&t store before closing and they had never seen a message like this. The salesman crashed it and I had to return home to reset to factory on my itunes. After asking me about backing up....it gives other warning not allowing me to continue. I can't even restore to factory. All my updates on phone and itunes are current. More frustrated that Apple support is not available 24/7 considering how huge this company is!
