i have no idea how to sign in without giving them my credit card number..? i just plan on buying iTunes cards. i know someone out there has got to know the answer to this..! please help me!! step by step instructions please!! thanks,

Buy an iTunes card first.
At the iTunes stre, click on Redeem.
It will ask for the card number, then askif you want to create a new account or use an existing account.
When you create a new acccount this way, you do not need a credit card. When it gets to the section for CC details, select None.

I sold a ipad 1.. I did a reset and cleaned out all data before shipping to him. however, the new owner tells me when he connects to itunes it is asking for my password. how can i resolve this without giving him my password? will a hard reset take care of this?

Follow the instructions on this page exactly : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 i.e. select a free app and click on 'create Apple ID' when 'buying' it (it worked for me yesterday).

If you only want the free apps, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

HELP! (Please) How can I get my playlists previously created on my iPhone 4 back?
Hi there. I have an iPhone 4, equipped with all of my music from my iTunes library on my MacBook Pro laptop. I often create playlists on my phone (when it is not plugged into the computer). When I went to plug my phone into the laptop to sync some new songs and things, it replaced the playlists I had made on my phone with the ones already on the computer. How can I get the playlists that I had made on my phone back? I really don't want to have to recreate all of those playlists...is their any way to retrieve those playlists? Thanks for any help you can offer!!!!
Since this is PC version using XP I'm afraid you'll have to check in on the PC side.
Caution: just say your using XP Home and trying out the trial. Don't mention the word Mac. PC folks, would make you regret doing that. As much as its so 80's and 90's for such behavior its still around. -

How come after you add a iTunes card your credit card is still charged????
Some items can not be purchased with store credit.

iPhone won't accept second credit card with the same number, but different user.
Only one credit card can be on an iTunes account at any one time - presumably if they are shared credit cards with the same card number then it's the same credit card account with the one bill, so from a billing/payment point of view does it make any difference which card is on the account(s) ?

You cannot use an iTunes Gift Card from the US iTunes/Mac AppStores in Columbia. You should only change the country of your Apple ID if it is true that you have moved to that country and now have the qualifications to use your account in that country; you must have a valid bank card in that country with a vaild billing address for the bank card in that country. There is no way around this requirement.
