Help me please, i tunes doesn´t recognize the i pod, what can I do????

When I try to synchronize the music library from i tunes to my i pod, i tunes says that ther is no i pod connected, what can I do in order to reset the conection, the I pod its connected to the USB port # 1 and the library for i tunes and the aplication (program) are instaled in an external hard disc drive connected to the USB port # 2

Cannot open CS6, it craves JBX-plugin, and my Mac doesn't recognize the file so I can't download

I wonder why CS6 is not complete when downloaded? Why should I have to download JBX? If needed it should be a part of Indesign. My Mac doesn't have a name of a file to open and download, so now I simply don't have CS6 and can't convert my book to Kindle for sales on Amazon.

First, check the manual or specification online, to see if your iPod model is supported. That USB port may be for plugging in a generic USB flash drive with song files on it. Or it may only support more recent iPods.
Also, if it has an auxiliary audio input port (it would look like the headphones jack on iPod), you can use something like this to connect your iPod

and just use your iPod to "play through" the car audio system.

My NOSY (now ex) husband did something to my ipod touch and it is now disabled. It was dead and I charged it and NOW the sucker won't turn off. When I connect to itunes i see a message that says i have to UNLOCK it with a passcode. I tried to get apple support but they want my serial number. Well...the ipod wont turn on!!! I've had it at least 6 years and have moved and I can't find my paperwork and WHO can read that serial number on the back? If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

If the drive is correctly installed on to the sled, and the mounting screws are snug, not tight, and the sled is inserted properly so that all the roof-tangs catch as the sled is inserted, failure to show up in Disk Utility means the drive is not useable.
A Bug in 10.8.4 and later precludes Disk Utility ERASE-ing large drives in Internal bays. Use PARTITION only, and create one new partition, GUID partition Map, Mac OS Extended (journaled) Volume.

Tried to install a new game that I bought (Xiii) for my MBP. All system req have been met and exceeded, however when trying to install it I get an error message saying "You can’t open the application “XIII Install” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
I have since read online that the operating software Yosemite has got rid of PowerPC applications, meaning I can't install my new game.
Is there anything simple that I can do to get this game to work. I'll be gutted if not as I have opened the game therefore the shop will not give a full refund, I'm sure .

A lot longer ago than that. PowerPC apps haven't been supported since Lion, 10.7.x.
You may have just purchased the game, but the developers obviously haven't kept up to date with the requirements for newer versions of the Mac OS.
You have three options, depending on how old your Mac is.
1) If it were ever able to boot directly to Snow Leopard, you could create a separate partition and install SL onto that partition. Make sure to turn on the option during the installation to install Rosetta. That is OS X's PPC emulator.
2) If your Mac is too new to install Snow Leopard, then you can purchase and install Snow Leopard Server within a VM, such as Parallels, VirtualBox, or Vmware.
3) Use a separate older Mac for running outdated software.

Obsolete versions of Nikon software corrupt Nikon raw files slightly making them unrecognized in Adobe products.
You can reverse this corruption by using the utility from the following webpage:

Basically you need to use Nikon software that is at least as new as your newest camera or don’t use Nikon software at all.
