In order for you to solve this problem you have to follow these stept if your running windows:
1'st step is to go into the device manager
2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)
3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers
4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that your itunes will pump up alown and youl see your iphone right there.

Just updated to iTunes 10.7 on Windows Vista 64bit and now when I try to connect to the iTunes store and just get "Uknown error has occured-42408" Please help!!!!!!!

SpeedBit Video Accelerator - I cannot uninstall it, so I have upgrade it. Store is accessible now!
The only but is there are again some problems with upgrading from 10.6 to 10.7, but this is another story.

I have iPad which was updated to iOS 8.1.1 recently and after boot up of the iPad; it is asking me to connect to iTunes.
Please let me know what might be the issue. Why is it asking me to connect to iTunes? How will I be able to restore the iPad to a working condition.
Thanks in advance.It means that the iPad has gone into recovery mode (all software has bugs, operating system updates don't always go smoothly). You will need to connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes by its cable, and that should recognise the iPad and let you reset it back to factory defaults - you can then restore to you backup, or just resent your content to it.

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears)
Go to Settings > Store > Apple ID> Sign out then sign in again.
It seems to work
I still get the message (can not connect to iTunes Store) at some updates. But then I can click ok and it updates anyway. Hopefully this can help others with the same problem as well! -

When I plugged in my iPhone to my desktop, it told me that I could download a new version of iTunes. I did, and then I got an error message while downloading (I didn't record the error message like a dummy). Now, I am left with the icons to connect to iTunes on my phone's screen. The only problem is that I can't connect to iTunes anymore. I can't use my phone, and I can't connect even though I just connected before trying to download the new version of iTunes.
I've tried restarting my computer and the phone. I have also plugged in and pulled out my iPhone's connection as well as restarting iTunes to no avail. I don't want to download a new version of iTunes since I have playlists that I have worked a good deal on.
Is there anything else I can do?Ok, I tried to restore it on another computer with iTuens. I saw that that computer said it could not restore my phone because of error code 13. I'm looking into that now.

2. set date one year ahead
3. restart phone
4. ignore all message you get on restart. go to setting for date and time, set to automatic
5. close setting. sign on to itunes, you will need to enter your apple ID and password
