Sorry . Bout the customer service comment. Thanks for your help.. It's photoshop elements 12. The program itself will open but I can't get a picture to open I. The program. I hit open and it takes me to the little screen and lets me choose an image, I get a spinning wheel for a second like something's happening but then nothing. Wong even let me open a blank new file. Lost service now have to take a day off
I was actually able to get thru the phone tree to an agent relatively quickly. But the problem apparently is with the optical box installed on the outside of my house. So the only way to get a service repair technician out to my house to check is for me to take a day off, wait for someone to show up, just to be there so I can verify that it was corrected. The problem I have with this, is that I lost service when they installed service for one of my neighbors. Don't know if they are connected but since I have only had the service for 9 months I doubt that it is faulty equipment. A couple of days ago someone from Verizon had some kind of meter connected to the box outside of my townhouse. He said he was making sure I didn't lose service when my neighbors service was installed. Why do I have to be there for them to check the box? If it needs to be replaced, that can be done without me, the technology is there for the to check to see if service is being sent to my house ( they could check it last night without anyone coming out to my home, as a matter of fact it was diagnosed using their computer system) If it is I can use the in home agent to finish resetting it once I get home from work. Anyone had any luck in getting around the "you have to be home to get someone to come out and check Verizon's equipment, and recent work?
Just a follow up, I took half a vacation day to be here for the Verizon technician. He looked at the box outside and said, Yes the contraction cut the line to your service. Here is where he left a new one, but since he can't open the box to my house he couldn't reconnect it. It took ten minutes for the technician to run a new wire. Since the modem was turned off that had to be turned on, other than that no reason for me to be here, except to verify that the work was completed.
So, thanks to Verizon's inability to hire compentent contractors, their customer service that really isn't for the customers, My employer lost my time for the day, and I lost a vacation day.
Since I am encouraged to use the online agent for every thing the fact that they insisted I be home is just another example of poor customer service.
Do you think they will really credit me for two days that I didn't have service? -
HELP ME PLEASE!All my downloaded VIDEOS turn off on their own while playing
PLEASE HELP ME !! All Videos downloaded to my I phone turn off ON THEIR OWN while playing. Some play for two or three minutes then turn off--some play for 15 minutes, then turn off. Plus rather than letting me resume play from the point at which they turn off--they all go back to the video starting point. THIS HAPPENS with ALL videos--!!! Videos from i tunes plus home made videos. I have taken the phone to my local Apple store--they had no idea why this happens and they gave me a new phone ( very polite and nice process) however the same thing happens on my new phone. I called Apple support--they had no answers. Please help--I spent a lot of money on the new i phone ( pre discount price) plus bought a brand new computer to make all this work with video and so far a big disapointment!! My computer is an HP Pavillion Elite - model m9040n- with an Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600,,memory 3GB DDR2, NVIDIA GeForce 8400 video card, using VISTA WINDOWS HOME PREMIUM. Anyone out there in cyber world-PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Thanks for your note. Glad to get all the help I can with this problem. Apple had me Update the phone several times and then restore the phone 3 times. None of this helped. I have even tried an update and restore wwith the new phone. PS: In your note you mentioned that Apple may have had an issue with video turning off before--did I read that corectly?

So I download photoshop cc (2014) and when I go to open the program, it gives me an error message and shuts the program down. It says," A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program." Can someone help me please?
I've got the same issue and it affects all my adobe software. You are not alone as I have seen several postings looking for the answer to this help request.

If restoring using your backup didn't work, you'll have to save as much of your data as you can (import your photos to your computer, sync your contacts and other data with iCloud, email things like Notes and Voice Memos to yourself, sync with iTunes to transfer all your purchases, etc.) and then restore it as new without using your backup.

I bought photoshop elements 8 a few years ago. I had to reinstall my computer, and I can't find this PSE 8 on Adobe. Only the 12 is available, but I've paid a serial for the 8. Can you help me please ?

You can't "accidentally" put a passcode on any iPhone...its a multi-step process. Further, restoring an iPhone will remove the passcode, as the passcode is not included in an iPhone backup.
Are you sure you're talking about the phone passcode & not something else...like the "Restrictions" passcode? -

I want to upgrade from Photoshop Extended CS5 to PS Extended CS6 Mac (I do NOT want CC) but have been unable to find this at a sensible price (or sometimes at all). Help, anyone please? This is in UK, btw!
What do you consider a sensible price? PS CS6 extended is available only when you purchase the CS6 Suite, which is around $1000 for the upgrade from CS5. PS 6, which is not extended, is about $200, but I'm not sure about upgrading to a single app from a suite. Adobe used to allow it, but I'm not sure about now. PS CC and Lightroom 5 combo is $9.99 a month or PS CC alone for $19.99 or the whole CC suite for $29 a month. The latest CC apps are "extended."

Suddenly my Nikon Coolpix will not upload on to my 09 iphoto it takes for ever then it just shows blank squares no pics and a message that states it cannot read the JPEG files. Can anyone help me, please. I have never had this problem before.
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
You could also try reformat the Card with your camera
