HELP ME PLEASE WITH MY MAC G5
Good afternoon.
I have a Mac G5
Powerpc Model 970 (2.2) Dual Processor at 2 Ghz (NOT INTEL)
before had in MacOS 9 and I have recently installed Leopard and after that I only recognize one of the two processors.
I have updated and everything that he believed might be, (but I have no idea what to do to work with both processors.)
on one occasion when I was formatting one of the two HDD as he did so to take a look at the features of the Mac and I showed both processors, but when I finish I only showed automatically format a single processor.
anyone can help or guide me with this little problem?

Also, Try running your Apple Hardware Test . It's not perfect, but may flag something.

Help needed please, everytime I try to update the software version on my iphone it comes up with a message saying it could not be completed and is now frozen with the apple picture and progress bar on it. Do I unplug it and hope the macbook pro sees it again, I also stupidly did not back up before starting the download which I realise I will have to go back to the previous back up. This keeps happening, everytime I do this type of update, I'm starting to think I should just give up on updating my software on the Iphone. Help! Problem with my Mac Pro! :(
Im having a strange issue with my Mac Pro it freezes and gets stuck during startup and the OSX never starts, the spining gear gets stuck. First i thought it was the memory so i used the apple hardware test. Then i tryed the hard drive in another computer and it worked. The thing is that is not working in my machine
I have a Mac Pro (Early 2008) computer with 8 gb of Ram and a Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT
KERNEL PANIC sign twice and i couldnt do anything. The message i got is this one.
As far i could understand it has something to do with the NVIDIA driver right?
Does anybody know how to solve this problem since I dont know what to do...

What happens when you try this? Do you still get the kernel panic? If so, then there is a hardware failure. It could be the video card but it could also be caused by a defective memory module. You might try running the hardware test:

HELP me please with a basic Mac Problem
I recently updated to Yosemite, and I have a question that can hopefully be fixed. Even as I am typing, the problem is occuring. The issue is that right now, my cursor is in this little box typing, but all of a sudden, its gone. For example, when you're in Microsoft word or when you're on the internet, and you click on something ELSE, like opening Photo Booth or whatever, the original thing you were on grays out because it is not the primary focus, my macbook is doing that so every few seconds, it removes the "focus" from the internet, or microsoft word, and i have to re-click on the **** thing every few seconds.
another example, I am typing on microsoft word for 2 minutes and the microsoft bar thing is dark gray. without notice, the dark gray turns light gray and now I am getting that little "beep" sound because my cursor is no longer in microsoft word and it stops me from typing anything until i click on word again. any issues why this is happening?I got a table with 7 columns (parameter:NUMBER).

Before you delete the white background from the logo, first open the Layers Palette and rename the Background layer to anything else. It is sufficient to double click the layer's icon and accept the default name "layer 0". Then when you delete the background it will be replaced by transparency (checkerboard pattern).
Since the logo background is solid white, the easiest way to select it to use the Magic Wand tool with the Contiguous box unchecked on the options bar. Click anywhere in the white and then <Delete>:
Note: if you don't rename the Background layer the deleted portion is replaced not by transparency but instead by the current color as defined in the Background color swatch at the bottom of the toolbar. -

Hi, I'm a beginner with XI and I have as problem with an interface.
This interface is a file-to-RFC scenario an it was working correctly a few days ago. Suddenly, the interface doesn´t work and we haven´t error message in sxi_monitor transaction. The queues are fine and we haven´t any sign that why the interface doesn´t work.

It is possible to recover bios on T410 laptocs?.
I have downloaded the bios from official site, T410, and flashed it on Windows 7 (lenovo software), it said that flash is succefully updated (bios updated) and needs to restart the computer, but after make that, the system does not run anymore, it freezes on the "ThinkPad" Screen at the begining, i don´t know what could be?,, i can´t even enter to the bios... is there a way to recover bios or reset it??..

That sounds bad. What happens if you press your start button and immediately F1?
If that doesn´t work, try to de-attach the battery and AC. Then press your start button 20 times.
Then insert the battery and connect the AC adapter and try to start and go into the bios.
There press F9 (loading defaults) and F10 save&exit.

I reloaded windows and after restarting I could not find the Outlook Express address book. I looked in my docs and settings/"name"/localsettings/applicationdata/identities.
There are a bunch of .DBX files t, but the contacts file is only 59kb. I don't know how to do anything with these files to recover them.

Sure, it will work. I'm uncertain as to the model that you are referring to, but generally, once you plug in your iMac to your linksys router, you will access it via your web browser at 192.168.1.1 and there is no user name and the password is Admin.
Take a peek at the documents that came with your router and look for the section called "Web based" administration and that should get you up and running.
Let us know if you have any other issues. -

Help Required Please with Logic Express and Yamaha O1X
Hi, I'm a new Logic and Mac user. I have just installed Logic Express and I am trying to get my Yamaha O1X mixer/ interface to work. I have the MLAN Tools installed and I can load a demo song into Logic. The meters on my Mixer are moving, I just cannot hear any sound. Doesanyone know the correct way to set this up to work correctly??

AUDIO/INST/MIDI/BUS/AUX/OTHER. Choose INST - bring up the faders on Channels 1 and 2. Pan them left and right by clicking PAN (one the surface of the 01X in the PAGE area once, then using the knobs beneath the green screen mLAN 1 and mLAN 2 and spinning the knobs left and right), and control your master volume with the master fader. Use the headphone volume to adjust output level.
Very important......if you did all of this, play a song from itunes see if there is audio if not you have something connected wrong.
If you get it from itunes and not logic....then we need to look at logic!
You need to run logics setup assitant and make sure in the controller setup the O1X is showing! Click rebuild defaults in the controller tab of logic....you should see the faders move!

Help me please with java.lang.outofmemoryerror
For anyone who considers themselves a java expert....could you please be of assistance? I have been chatting at www.bodyforlife.com for several weeks now and all the sudden I can't get in. I do know that other people are still able to get in as well. When I try to connect applet initializes and then says applet started when I try to enter then nothing happens. My java console says java.lang.outofmemoryerror. I have Windows 2000 and am running a Mcaffee firewall. Does anyone have any idea why I all the sudden can not get into this chat room? I have everything enabled that I know of. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
you need to make periodic writes to persistent storage. This is a common scalability issue. At some point you will always run out of memory.
Increasing usable memory will not necessarily fix your problem. Maximum virtual memory is around 2GB on most Windows systems. If your entries take up more than "4 bytes" each, then you will never have enough memory.
