but I got this error :

Please mention the application release along with the database version and OS.
Are you running the command as applmgr user and after sourcing the application env file?
java oracle.apps.per.DataInstall thin hostname:dbport:oraclesidAre you passing the apps username/password to the command?

Hi,
The Integration developers guide mentioned that the Corrective action codes and details in the oracle.apps.aia.core.eh.i18n.EHCorrectiveActionRB class.
Do we need to write this class or is there any configuration file exists,which is referred by this class?
My use case is to create a key-value pairs for Corrective actions.
Please let me know of you've done the similar excercise.

Yes this exists oob with FP. In 10g it will be under bpel/system/classes folder.

In 10g it will be under bpel/system/classes folder. In 11g it will be under <MW_HOME>/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/classes folder.
3. Must this Listresource bundle be implemented in all AIA composites? If so how do i do this?
No, only one resource bundle exists and you can add your messages to the same class.
3. Does anyone have any example which i can use to implement error handling?
Please refer AIADemo available in OTN for download. All the composites have error handling.
4. Any other general advice about using this resource list bundle
In 11g the resource bundles class is replaced with a properties text file.

Help Required | JAXP | Oracle app Server 9.2

I have couple of queries..
I am currently using " Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0" with JVM enabled (My OS is Windows Xp Second edition , I am doing some POC for my clients).
I am trying to run JAXP sample code on this application server.
As far as my knowledge goes the Oracle 9i JVM version is 1.3 and it supports JAXP 1.1 only.
So my queries:
* Can I upgrade my Oracle App server JVM from 1.3 to 1.4 or 1.5
* Can anyone provide me sample code which is compatiable with compatible 1.1

Help Needed Regarding Oracle AP Invoice Cancellation/Hold Functionality

What I need to do is to assign invoice hold and cancel rights to a user without giving him any other rights to modify the invoice in anyway. Basically what I want is that my user could hold or cancel any invoices pending payment but not be able to change anything else regarding that invoice.
My consultants tell me that it's not do-able and hold/cancel rights come with a set of other invoice modification rights which will be assigned if these are assigned. This, not only is a major no-no for me but I also highly doubt this, considering the wholeness of Oracle Financials. Please, can you let me know a way that this could be done?

If you want user to place a HOLD,then that can me achieved by placing manual Hold.....
A user of the invoices will always have the rights to modify the invoice....so in what way you want to Restrict the user..??

I do not believe there are any screenshots available - each install is unique to a certain extent. You will have to experiment with the install process on test servers to come up with your own screenshots.

Custom Help text for Oracle Apps

Hello All,
We are currently on 10.7SC(!) and would like to know how we can customise the online help files to include text that is specific to our setup.
Basically, we would like the 'Window Help' option for some key forms (PO entry, Invoice workbench, etc..) to contain the custom text.
Has anyone done this before? Any help/ideas greatly appreciated.
