Help me. Text log confusion.

I've recently had problems with my phone. Lately, it's been confusing two of the people on my text messages. On the lock screen, it shows who it's actually from, but on my text logs it shows that these two are the same people. On my contacts it shows that they have different numbers but when I look at the texts they are one person. I've tried restarting my phone and I've tried starting a new message to the person i actually want to talk to, but it doesn't work. It does the same thing. please help me, is this a carrier problem or the actual device problem. Also I recently updated my phone.

To view text logs for the current billing period:
Log into your on-line MyVerizon account
Click the blue View Usage on the left-hand side
Under the red Messaging, click the blue View Messaging Details
To view your text logs for previous billing periods:
When logged into your on-line MyVerizon account, click View Bill.
Use the drop-down to select the appropriate bill.
Click the Calls, Messages, & Data tab.
Click the blue Messaging.
Use the drop-down to select the appropriate line.
Text message details are only available for the past 90 days.

What time zone is the Verizon text log?

I was looking at my text usage log and realized that everything was an hour off. It appears that the texts are logged using Standard Time, not Daylight Saving Time.
Is that correct?

Reading over my original post, I see that it might have been confusing. The
text log I'm looking at is not on the phone. It is the usage log on the My
Verizon website. When I look at the text message log on the website, it
seems that the times are Eastern Standard, not Eastern Daylight Saving time.
I get to the log by logging into My Verizon website, clicking View Usage,
clicking on the device I want to see, clicking on "Breakdown of Recent
Activity," and then looking at the message log.

iPhone users DO appear. In the posted questions and response below, you indicate that if we are all using iPhones then we are not using the Verizon network but using data. If you are all using iPhones, then it's likely the texts are going through iMessages and therefore use data. Since the texts are not using the Verizon network, but the app, they do not show up in the logs. The app is not specifically blocking the texted numbers from showing up, but the information comes through Verizon as data usage, not numbers texted.

Lets figure out just where those texts are going! There are many apps that can be downloaded from the Play Store for Android phones that will allow messages to be sent over the internet, and therefore they are not actually text messages and will not show up in our records. Even Facebook has their own messaging app available that does this.
If you have an iPhone, they come with a service called iMessage that allows for messages to other Apple devices be sent via the internet, and this will also not show up on our records. These are all ways to bypass our actual texting services, and since these messages are not being sent as texts they do not show up on our records.

Text log file Monitor

Hi Team,
i have a task to create a log file example SCOM.log, the log has all text entries and the pattern is like below
"[0014 20140724 094527069 SCOM E] ProcessDeposits(), DMGATEWAY internal error in plugin: An exception occurred while processing terminal transaction with HostTransactionID: '4143', tracking fact Id: '3' in the Deposit Gateway Processor task 7. The transaction
will be NOT be re-queued. // "
we need to monitor anything which has "DMGATEWAY internal error in plugin:" string.
sometimes we have greater then 10 entries with in few seconds.
once the log file reaches 10MB all the entries are moved to an archive log file that means the present SCOM.log file is empty and start from line one again.
any suggestions \ solution will be a great help and also let me know if you need any further information

When monitoring a log file, Operations Manager remembers the last line read within the file (a 'high water mark'). It will not re-read data before
this point unless the file is deleted and recreated, or renamed and recreated, which will reset the high water mark.
If a logfile is deleted and recreated with the same name within the same minute, the high water mark will not be reset, and log entries will
be ignored until the high water mark is exceeded.
An implication of this is that log files that are cleared periodically without being renamed and recreated, or deleted and recreated, will not have entries in them processed until the high water mark from before the log is cleared is exceeded.
Operations Manager cannot monitor 'circular log files' (i.e. log files that get to a certain size or line count, then start writing the newest entries at the beginning of the log) for the same reason. The log file must be deleted or renamed and then recreated,
or the application configured to write to a new log once the current log is filled.

This is a common concern among Android and I-phone user, and one of the drawbacks to using a smart phone. We lose so much privacy. Our phones become cameras into our homes for us to be spied on.
I don't know what type of phone you have, if it is even a smart phone, but here is an example of an application that you can use to determine which applications are accessing your information and sending it out.

I had something called backupd-helper cancel my log out last night. I was wondering it this is spyware? Can anyone help?

This morning I had a information window that read "The application backupd-helper cancled logout. To try again, quit backupd-helper and choose log out form the Apple menu." I look for this app on my dock, but it was not there. I used spot light to try to find it but it did not show up. I checked in my applications folder and utilities folder, but again no luck. Finally I used Activity Monitor and there it was, but as soon as I "inspected" it the process terminated and disappeared. It's parent app is Launchd. Any information would be very helpful, thanks.

This is part of Time Machine. It is a daemon helper, part of the backup process.
It is not spyware.

All of my info except my text message log synched. There is about a month and a half worth of text log missing to bring it current. What do I need to do to make my messages transfer over to my new phone?

Here is the directory structure of my program. My log4j.properties file and HelloWorld.class file are residing in folder HelloWorld\bin.

Text Log shows texts to same number over and over

Hello I just signed up to manage my Verizon online. Upon reading my text logs they are all to the same phone number that I do not know. When I call the number it says its a disconnected Verizon phone #
They match up to texts I have actually sent or received, my call log is fine though. How can I get my account to list the actual numbers I text?

Correct, so when I log into My Verizon and select "texts" in the usage category, it lists my phone number TO and the FROM number is always the same one, which I do not recognize.
These (from the number I dont know) correlate with text messages I sent/recieved in my regular messaging app provided by my device by default.
I also use WhatsApp, however those text messages do not appear to be on my bill usage.

Activities not cleaning text log when ending contact

I have a problem, we are using sap crm 5.0 with ic web client, when the user opens, or create a new activitie it shows the text log in the followupviewset, but when it hits the "end contact" button it does not clean the view in the text log, how can i clean that text log so it does not saves those text's in other activities.

I just figured it out- first I tried resetting, but to no avail. Then I turned off my iCloud sync I'm settings (under contacts, of course) and voila! All to those missing contacts appeared! So moral of the story- iCloud can cause a few kinks in certain situations.

I'm referring to a log that shows the incoming and outgoing numbers of the imessages. Like a phone bill shows for regular text messages. Didn't know if one is available to track messages. Especially ones that have been deleted.

Why are there numbers not showing up on my call and texts log when i look this up online at verizon? There is one number that my daughter texts and calls a lot i found from her phone log but not one time does it show when i look this up on the Verizon wireless call log??? We all have iphones is there an application or something that can block certain calls from showing up? It clearly has texts on her phone from this number why would it not be on the call log?

However, wouldn't an iMessage show up different than a text? It looks just like every other text on her phone. We all have iphones in this house and they always show up as texts on the call log but this one number seems to be blocked somehow from showing up on the text log. And there are texts from weeks ago and it's from an actual number not computer or any weird/odd code and yet it never comes across on the text log when i look it up.
If you are correct and it's coming across as iMessage is there a way for me to block texts coming across this way so they all show up on the text log?

Flash Site Template Help With Text

So I downloaded a flash template to use for my website... all I need are some editing of the texts, pictures, and some of those links. Here is the template:

My problem is I'm completely NEW at flash. I used to use FrongPage 2003 for my webdesign but I wanna use this for my new website (since it looks a lot better!) How do I edit the text fields? I can only seem to move the bar along the timeline to watch the animation, and see all the layers and item properties that none have anything with the text in them. And also the images as well, if I need to do anything special with those (within template link above you'll see they flash white for a second) and the main logo has some animation there. I have all the fonts required but I don't know if I also have to make the logo with those special white flashy lines like a GIF animator or if that's just some special affect within the template itself.
Now due to legal notices specified by the site I can't share the template with you but I'll attempt to answer any and all questions i can to see if I can get this all figured out so I can begin adding my own content to the site. Thanks in advance.

Doesn't look like there's an xml file for the text. Reading the template help index, and its saying some text might have complex coding for special effects and that I'd have to edit by the Library or something, so I'll try using that reference for now. I appreciate the help and I may come back if this can't help me lol
EDIT: It says I'm missing the font file "tahoma" mapped to _sans ....?? I have tahoma... as well as the main title logo isn't appearing in the .fla file anymore even though I got the correct font. I'm confused >.<
