Help me , there is a problem about xcontrol's property and method vi!

Hi everyone,
we know xcontrol's property or method is a vi actually when we create them.
we are also sure there are two ways(static and dynamic way) for invoking a vi at least.
So when we evaluate xcontrol by property node or execute method through method node, does labview dynamically invoke the property or method vi ? if labview dynamically invokes them,does owner vi wait them done or not?

What you could do is create a pumping scheme, that pumps the data into the Facade VI and handle the number crunching there, however that would block the execution of events in the facade VI.

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

Sounds like it is more an issue of connecting to the internet. Not just the WiFi Some people have reported that performing a power cycle on their Internet router solved this.

My iPod says there's a problem with my last purchase and every time I try to look at my history to clear the problem it says there no connection to ITunes

Doublechecking. Have you tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components (Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, etc ...) and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

These are user-to-user forums, nobody on here will know what the problem with the previous purchase might be.
Does the name and address on your credit card match exactly the name and address on your iTunes account, and have you checked with your card issuer to see if they are ones who are declining it ? Help! There is a problem with this windows installer package

I've tried previous fixes posted on the boards but they don't work for me.
I know the problem is coming from Apple Software Update. When I extracted the installer files and attempted to install that one, the error pops up: "There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
I tried attempting the "repair" fix by going to control panel, but it was not there. I also attempted using Microsoft Fixit but I don't see any Apple Software Update as well.
Any ideas? Thank you very much!

Just in case, let's try a standalone AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi install.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe, and select "Extract to iTunesSetup". WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup".
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi to do a standalone ASU install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi again.)

With Firefox 5.0.1 and Firefox 6 beta there are display problems apparently due to Java and some Javascript compatibility problems -- there were links to solutions, but they are no longer active. What to do?

The box and button lines are not displayed or are mis-sized, if they appear at all; problem varies with the website and page style.
The threads I found in discussions mentioned a couple pages that are no longer active/cannot be opened -- so these solutions don't work.
When starting version 5x and 6beta I get information certain add-ons are STILL incompatible with these versions?
Are there any work-arounds or patches?

I am having this problem too. Just like WinOnBatch the problem started for me around firefox 5.0.1.
I have not been able to get rid of this problem. I have tried creating a new profile, restarting firefox in safe mode. disabling extensions 1 by 1. When I built this computer I did a clean install of firefox 5.0.1, and 2 weeks later with no extensions the problems came back. At that point I had the Java and flash plugins only.
When firefox 6 was released I did another fresh install (uninstalled firefox, went through my hard disc and deleted any reference to firefox and mozilla. Did the same in the registry, then run a registry cleaner and restarted the computer) before I installed firefox 6 and the problem was happening in less than a week. The I said to hell with it and re-created my entire profile from scratch and installed all my old extensions (updated them off course). 2 weeks ago it got really sever and I couldn't see any buttons on the chome interface and all web pages I visited were displaying really messed up. The only way i can describe it is kinda like greentech70 screenshots but on every inch of the application window. Like a really bad screen tearing effect.
The only thing that seem to help is when I downgraded to firefox 3.6.18. That fixed it but like greentech70 I have security and privacy concerns, so upgraded to firefox 6 again as the issue went away for 1 day, then came back but not as severe. since then I have been downgrading to firefox 3.6.18 re-installing java and flash, then upgrading back to firefox 6. It keeps the problem minimised but im still plagued by it. I also wonder if its a problem with firefox's 6 graphical engine.

i think i deleted disk utillitys and keychain by accident and removed trash. there is no way i can get it back but is there a way i can reinstall it plzz tell if you know.

noname, I'm posting to add a tiny bit of clarification to Matthew's excellent guidance.
Reading KnowledgeBase Article 301270, Mac OS X 10.4: About installation options may help you to understand the specifics of Archive & Install, including the "Preserve Users and Network Settings" option.
Pacifist is oustanding shareware, and a good solution, too — but finding the specific parts you need within your Install Disc's .pkg may be a bit confusing at first. If you choose this alternative and need help, post back and ask.
Btw, I notice that you also posted about Disk Utility here and here over the weekend. As friendly advice, please try to be a bit more patient when seeking assistance here in Apple Discussions. Knowledgeable and generous folks (like Matthew and Allan) are happy to help — but it may sometimes take a little while. This is a user-to-user forum, and we're all here on a voluntary basis. I have created my own layoutset for the navigation and set it.Here is the question, I navigate from the iview for which i have created the layout set to a new page.there is a return link on the new iview,i click the link of return the Browser go back to the frist iview but the layoutset i have set is gone. Thank you very much for your help. I think itis better to choose another kind of smart sensor with rs232 I/O port. It is easier to connect the eight sensors to the eight bluetooth servers. The eight sensors are fixed on the different bearing surfaces and rotate with the machine, it's difficult to use one turning adapter to connect them. So I have to use eight bluetooth servers to connect to the eight sensors.
The key problem ishould I use 8 bluetooth servers or 1 bluetooth server or the bluetooth vi of labview to receive the data from the other servers and how can I drive them. Just like question 3 and 4 following:
(3 key question) I skimmed through the forum and noticed labview can support bluetooth. But I want to know that: If the bluetooth function of labview 8 can receive the data from the eight bluetooth servers on the machine in the same time, how could I do? If not,
should I use the same kinds of eight bluetooth servers to receive the realtime data in the same time, which are connected to pc I/O ports(if they are enough), or just use only one server connected to pc to receive the data from the servers in the same time ?
(4 question) I noticed that the bluetooth servers should use drive software or programe. If necessary, how could I do for the eight servers on the machine and on the pc?

I need help! it is a problem about the file!

I want to do a program that can watch files in selected folder. I will copy the files to other folder if there is a new file in the folder, the program will check the folder every second.
So I got a problem. when a big file (like 120M) copy to the folder by manual, the program is running and get this file and want to copy it to the other folder, but the file is not completed file, so the program throws an exception which is java.io.FileNotFoundException. I do not want catch this exception, I want to make the program know this file can not be transfer.
how can I do? I have already use canRead() method and canWrite() method, but it does not work. How can I know this file is not completely??

I'm not sure there is a way for a Java program to detect that another application is still writing the file.
Why do you say you don't want to catch the exception? You'll have to :) It seems a simple solution is to try your file copy, and if it fails, keep trying again every second or so until it works. If you try to read it and it hasn't grown in size, it isn't being written anymore and something else is wrong.
