Help me with my problem, please?
I'd been using a simple program called Paint.net to do some simple designing, just messing around and stuff. So I am really familiar with the program. However, I had to design a t-shirt design for a project for printing. I designed all of it with Paint.net but the guy who will print the shirts says that he needs all the colours (colour guide) with an outline guide. Plus, I'll need to export it into .ai Cs3 file format. I understand I need to use Adobe Illustrator to do so but I have never played with the program before and I need the design urgently. I'm hoping someone could help and explain in full detail because I am lost in this program T.T

Presuming paint.net is a raster image application, you may have to recreate the artwork as vector. For a sketchy/photolike appearance you may use Image Trace with suitable settings, but for crisp and clean artwork you it is better to use the locked image as a remplate for a recreation with the appropriate tools such as the Pen Tool.
But the description of the requirements is rather woolly so you should get a clear answer to whether the guy needs vector artwork and raster artwork, and what is meant by a colour guide in this context.

You will have to restore it from Recovery mode, as described in the tip you were reading when you posted your message. Or see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808. You will lose all data on your phone.

Help need with dire problem please.
Hi all, my 24 inch iMac has spat the dummy! I installed a trial version of Photo Shop and somehow while attempting to install the program I got a weird series of screen images with the prohibition sign......never seen this one before.
Tried to do a restart, but the grey Apple screen came up with rapidly repeating logo's, 'prohibition' and question marks and others too.
I though maybe an 'archive and install' might be the way to go, but first tried all the keyboard commands to get it going, not successful!
Initially the archive and install got going OK but I decided to abort the installer and go back, restart the installer and try to get into disc repair. I thought this would enable me to delete the offending installer for Photo Shop.
Now I find I cannot get the Leopard disc to fire up. A grey screen comes up with the circulating wheel, but no boot up. I have Disc Warrior, but this disc also is not recognised.
I have tried all this several times to no avail. I have everything backed up to my EHD. Cannot access this either at the moment. Thank goodness for my MacBook.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem. I would be most grateful if you could.
Ron Begg, AustraliaSince your startup volume install was aborted, your disk never got "blessed" as a startup volume, that's one reason why your running into so many problems.
Also you might be "locked out" of the volume due to install abort.
Do this First -
Restart with the Command and S keys held down (single user mode)
and enter the following commands
(one at a time - pressing return after entering them):
mount -uw /
chown root:admin /
chmod 1775 /
again at the command prompt type:
/sbin/fsck -fy
Repeat fsck until no errors found.
Once fsck has run successfully-
again and lastly at the command prompt type:
reboot
If everything was successful, you should be able to get your
Leo install disk to boot or anything else you would like to try.

Hello my good ppl, i have a prob.of transfering my movies from comp. to Itouch.
I just bouth it, used to have nano before...so i am not familiar with watchin movies on ipod, anyway...problem is that any time i try to drag a movie file from comp to lybrary in Itunes...nothing happens as the format is not supported and all...i am desperate , what should i do? What formats are suported?. I manage to drag and drop a clip from my camera and converted it to Ipod, although no sound was played. But the main reason i bouth it is the movies, so i dont know what to do.

That's what i used to do.
Now i just buy everything from iTunes. It's alot easier. You don't have to go through all of those hassles like converting it to the right format and then having it not look good or the sound not being there. So for best results i would say buy/rent them from iTunes. It's alot easier. -

When I try to import media in FCPX (last one) I'm supposed to be able to set in and out points for imported clip, i.e. if I don't want to import huge file but a few seconds of it. I can even set multiple ins and outs points and then import them. Well that's the problem - I can't. FCPX only let me import the whole file even when I do set in\out points and press "import selected". I set those points holding "shift" and presing LMB because "i" and "o" are disabled for me for some reason (they are even greyed out in "menu bar\mark". Is that a bug? I saw multiple videos on that and looked it up on the imterned but noone seems to have anything like that, so it is very confusing. If I have my media in "event" folder however I can set ins and outs ok, no problem.

Tap Settings > General > International. Make sure the Region Format is correct.
As for your Apple ID. Tap Settings > Store > Apple ID > iForgot

I have a red vertical line on the right side of my screen and it will not go away tried restarting my computer and that didn't help at all, please help me with this problem it is kind of annoying
If it's a thin 1 pixel wide vertical line it's highly likely it could be caused by a defective LCD.
One quick basic way to check is to note the position of the line. Then go to System Preferences, Displays, and lower the resolution. If ther line moves it's on the video and the logic board or video card if fitted is likely to be defective. If the line stays in the same position it's likely to be an LCD fault. Either way to have it repaired you'll need to visit an Apple store or AASP.
The worst offender for this problem is the Late 2006 17" iMac. FOC replacement of the LCD used to be covered by a quality program, but it's now ended.
