hello..
i just got a new power cord for my Mac. I live in the USA, but i am in Hong kong for about a month..
When i first got here, my Mac charged perfectly, and now it will not charge at all.. Why is this happening???

I'm having the same issue. I went to my local apple store and they could not work me into the genius bar so i made an appointment for tomorrow morning. The clerk did check the phone for the pink indicators at the top and bottom of the phone (where you plug in your USB or headphones) He said if you can see a pink indicator dot you may have gotten it wet, or had some sort of condensation in it, which could cause the plugs to not work.
In regards to people not being able to hear you, i'm waiting for my appointment tomorrow for more news! I would recommend taking it into your local apple store for more answers.

Lost my charged and purchased a new charger for my Mac Pro retina with 15. I plug the charger and it will not charge or turn on after few hours

You will have to take the computer and the power adapter to the Apple store to have it checked out.
A Mac is in warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Did you try restoring on another computer as recommended by:

Hello I've had my iPhone 5c under 6 months suddenly stopper charging it's not the charge as I've tryed others and they don't work either I've tryed hard restarting my phone still no difference can any one help will this b covered in warranty ?

If there is a manufacturing fault it will be replaced under the warranty.
It's far more likely that there's lint or other debris stuffed up the Lightning dock.

ok i was restoring my old iphone 2 and it had some kinda of problem restoring and now when i connect it to try and fix it i tunes can not find it and windows says one of the usb devices you have connected to your computer has malfunctioned please try disconnecting and reconnection any ideas i've tried all the basics please help

Help! Computer will not recognize my camera at all!

Hello, everyone. This is my first post, and I am at a loss as to what to do.
I've had my camera for over a year, and I have never had any problems before uploading pictures from my camera to my PowerBook. However, all of the sudden, last night, my computer decided it didn't want to recognize that I had my camera connected! Both iPhoto 4.0.3 and Image Capture are unaware I have my camera connected. The camera I'm using is a Kodak EasyShare Z730.
Any suggestions as to what I should do? I've tried plugging it in a different USB port, and I've tried restarting the computer.
Any ideas would be wonderful!

Can you temporarily connect some other USB device to verify that your PowerBook's USB ports are in working order? Do you have another computer to which your camera can be connected to verify that a working USB connection is being made from the camera?
If we can somehow eliminate a hardware issue, then you can focus on software. Have you tried creating a new admin user account? If the new account recognizes your camera, it would narrow the problem down to something within your regular user account.

I restored my ipod and all i get is an apple on the screen. It will not charge or anything, help

MacBook Pro will not charge, hold a charge or even turn on now.

My charger was/is not charging my battery. I have tried other chargers that have worked for me in the past couple months when my original charger went bad but now my computer will not charge at all. The amber light shows, but I cannot turn on my computer even hours after letting it "charge."
When I first plug the charger into my MackBook, the green light comes on for about 5 seconds and then switches to orange.
I press the power button to see if the comupter will turn on while charging and it will not.
What should I do from here..

The MBP should work when the charger is attached (assuming the charger is functional). Try a SMC reset:

If that fails to bring life to the MBP, bring the MBP to an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation.

P10 504 will not charge and will not operate from mains

I'm having difficulties with my P10-504. I plug my charger in the back of the unit and nothing happens. No lights come on at the front and no charging or powering of the notebook.
I have some charge left in the battery and it shows that the computer is operating from battery power (discharging) and not AC power.
I have checked to make sure that the charger is operational with a volt meter and it seems to be fine.
Can any one offer a soloution for me?

What's the ASP?
I've had a similar problem before, somehow the prong in the power clug snapped off in the charging cable and so the computer would only charge if the cable was held in place.
I sent my computer to Toshiba who fixed the problem, replacing the motherboard I believe.
I now have the problem that the cable and socket appears to be fine yet the computer will not charge.
If I hold the cable in a certian position the light flicks on. If I find that position and leave it there within seconds the lights go out and will not come back on.

Here are some things to check when there is a problem charging the iPad. First use the charger that came with the iPad and connect that to a wall outlet.
1. No power in the outlet.
2. Bad charger. Try a different charger.
3. Bad cable. Try a different cable.
4. Dirt, lint or fuzz in the charging ports. Check and carefully clean with a toothpick if necessary.
5. Software glitch. First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
6. Hardware failure. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
