Help:my 8320 couldnt get Web Access e-mails any more

Hello Everybody,
Kindly be informed that I have blackberry curve 8320 device and using BIS from Vodafone Turkey.
When i bought it 3 months ago i was getting my webaccess business emails via push mail from my mobile device regularly.
But what was changed i dont know last week i have an e mail from [email protected] that i must update my password for my webaccess account.So i have tried to update it. But every time it gives a failure message
i have tried lots of combination of my server account names provided by my company but nothing has been changed!, at last i took my device to our IT manager and ask for help. He said that he doesnt know about getting emails by web access from blackberry device.(Becouse our Company has BES from Turkcell (another operator) and gives the blackberry devices to just only Managers).
When i show him my oldest emails from the server, he believed me and tried to help me honestly. He tried lots of combinations to add my email from outlook web access. But he couldnt do anything either.
I have called the Vodafone customer service and they couldnt solve the problem either.
After that, i talk with my friend from our company who uses BB BOLD and getting his mails via exchage server, bingo he told me that he is trying to solve the same problem like me and all the steps are the same, he also took a message to update his pass etc. But the main point is he is using Turkcell BIS. (i am using Vodafone)
So i am thinking that that problem is not belongs to operators.
Now i am looking for somebody to help me. Just please be informed that i am not a rookie about using blackberry and computer devices.

I had the same issue with my blackberry. I contacted my IT Department and discovered that they had recently made an update to OWA on their server. They stated that the Active Synch feature was no longer available because it wasn't able to properly accept the newly requested forms of authentication that was required with OWA 2007 (I think.)
----- is that true does somebody know anything about it ??------

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, either get a sim card from the carrier your phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.

How do I add Outlook Web Access to mail accounts on my iPod?

I have Outlook Web Access on my laptop to access my work email. I am trying to set up a mail account on my iPod Touch thru Microsoft Exchange unsuccessully. If I should be choosing "Other" instead of Microsoft Exchange, where do I find the incoming and outgoing mail server Host name and User name? And am I using my password in both spots?
Any help is appreciated...thanks!

I believe you were referring to Vaio Care Rescue Mode, right? To access the recovery partition. Is the Assist button stuck from being pressed?
Try to Power Cycle the laptop - Remove the battery and all peripherals -> press and hold the power button for 5 seconds OR, if the battery is not removable, remove all peripherals-> look for a battery off button on the bottom of the laptop -> push the button for 5 seconds
Try to press the Assist button while the unit is on. There are certain models where Vaio Care (Desktop) will open when pressing Assist while the computer is on. Then test while the unit is off.
Let us know if this will work.

Why can't I access Google Mail any loinger due to Safari error?

Notwithstanding upgrading Java and Security with the latest downloads, I no longer seem to be able to access Google Mail; when I try I get an error message. The strange thing is that I get the same from Firefox too. Could this have to do with the security update?

Try maintenance...
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.
If Safari unexpectedly quits, it could be a 3rd party plugins causing the problem. Go to ~/Library/Internet Plugins. Move any 3rd party plugins to the Trash and restart your Mac.
And make sure Safari is not running in Rosetta. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle so it faces down. Where you see Open using Rosetta... make sure that is NOT selected.
Try Open DNS - Free / Basic
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/ Move the Cache.db file to the Trash and restart your Mac.
For Firefox:
1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History... .
2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
3. Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose what history elements to clear. Click Clear Now.
Repair disk permissions...
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

i cannot get my exchange mail on my iphone 4s anymore. I have been to the genious br 4 times and most recently they gave me anew phone but that still did not fix it. I have checked everyhting out with the servers but the phone updates from the server for contatcs and calendar but not mail. it is not the server. and other staff who work for me have the same phones and connect with the same server and do not have the proble.
Help - how does this get fixed?

so then technically I can't transfer the songs off my ipod to my itunes library? since it is one 1 transfer from pc to ipod...correct? So when I synch my ipod the warning screen comes up and says "there are content not in the library, erase and synch library to Itunes, only purchased songs can transfer." No web access -- but mail works. Stuck!

SUMMARY: No internet pages in any browser (although other computers on the same network do just fine), but email and network utility show the network connection is fine. Connecting to my server is also spotty. Reinstalling the OS hasn't fixed the problem, nor have any other standard troubleshooting issues. Apple Hardware Text (extended) says no hardware issues.
Help! I feel like I've tried everything, yet cannot resolve an issue where my late-2009 27-inch iMac (Core 2 Duo at 3.06 GHz) running 10.7.4 will not load webpages.
Oddly, I can receive and send emails just fine. Using the network "Assist Me" buttons doesn't help, as the OS doesn't see any problem with the network. Yet no matter what I do, pages won't load. Different brosers don't work. But oddly -- I can use Network Utility and PING pages and use Traceroute to see that it's taking the exact same path as my other computer ... but the page that Network Utility easily finds, won't load up in Safari, or Firefox.
Also, I have an internal Mac server that I connect to via an IP number, and sometimes this will load, and at other times (now, for example), it will attempt to find the server for 5 to 20 minutes before finding it.
I have mostly suspected DNS or IP problems -- and still wonder if this is part of the problem. However, there are other computers on the network that work just fine. I have copied their network settings, and it does not fix the problem. Regarding the network: I'm personally confused by the relationship between my Airport Extreme and OS X server and how they each deal with DNS and IP issues ... but the other computers on the network seem to work okay.
I've run all the standard troubleshooting tasks: Disk Utility (reports no issues), repair permissions, ran every cleaning tool from OnyX, read through dozens of Forums, switched from Ethernet connection only to Wireless only. Since the issue began when I was using OX 10.6.8. I upgraded to 10.7 hoping that that would solve the problem. When that didn't solve it, I did the CMD-R reboot and reinstalled Lion overnight. Also, no help. I even bought an anti-virus app for the first time in 10+ years, just to see if it was a virus.
Additionally, this computer has had an ongoing "hang" issue, where it would just beachball for a minute, randomly, then come back. When it was under warranty, I took it to Apple and they replaced the mother board. But maybe this wasn't the problem -- maybe something else in the computer is/was causing the issue? (Last month I discovered a major error with spotlight, which seemed to be causing the beachballs, as it stopped after I disabled it.)
Apple Hardware Test (extended testing) run off the CD told me after 2 hours: No trouble found.
I'm totally stuck. Any ideas? Who's brilliant enough to solve the challenge?

As you suspect, this definitely sounds like a DNS issue to me. However, you didn't mention trying to change your DNS servers... did you do that? If not, try changing them. Go to System Preferences -> Network and click the Advanced button, then choose the DNS pane in the window that pops up. Remove the current entries and add the following:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
(These are the OpenDNS server addresses.)

I can log into my Yahoo account okay. However, when I go to access and open my mail, there seems to be this endless searching, as if firefox is sifting through my files but does not stop. It keeps going on forever.

I have this problem too from many days ago, i have tryed to disable the add ons, but it was useless. And the the weird thing is that I cannot access from any other browser (Safari/chrome).

You will need to contact Skype Customer Service in order to recover access to your account. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, next time you try again, use a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.

Uninstalled chromium, tbird can't access my gmail any more. Reinstalled tbird, tells me 'username or password is incorrrect' when it is not.

Used tbird for my gmail for years with no problem. Uninstalled chromium browser and suddenly tbird was getting a 'connection refused' message. Tried everything. Completely uninstalled/reinstalled tbird. It made no difference. I get a username or password incorrect. (It's not). This sounds like the two factor authentification thing but I don't know how to fix it. I went all over gmail settings looking for the two factor auth thing and found '2 Step Verification' which is disabled. What happened and how do I get tbird back to working with my gmail accounts? ( I DON'T whant to reinstall chromium, thanks.)

For many months, I have used Firefox to access Melaleuca.com to place a regular monthly order. This morning, when I clicked on Firefox, a box popped up saying I couldn't use Firefox with this version of Mac OS X. Why can I not? And what can I do about it?
