Help! My AppStore wont recognize my new AppleID

After downloading ICloud recently, I noticed it wouldnt recognize my longtime AppleID name/password. I learned that updating my AppleID username to one with an email address would help the situation.
Well, it did, but it brought a new problem for me. My IPhone is stuck in a "default" mode when asking me for my AppleID. For instance, when I need to update my apps, it pops up my old AppleID which is clearly not my new AppleID and I cant change the setting.
In IPhone settings, I have changed the AppleID/password in the App Store settings but Im still blocked.
Help!

go to settings>general>reset and reset all settings. During the setup assistant, choose to set up as a new phone, that will keep all of your data on there. If it won't let you log into your Apple ID after that, go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ and get in touch with iTunes Store via Expresslane. They should be able to get your Apple ID working properly for you. Hope this helps!!

actually, I went back to your original suggestion, and this time I blew on the conectors and that did it. I imagine it must have had some dust in the pins or something. I just did not think of doing that until last night, haha.

Computer wont recognize my new ipod

my last 30gb got stolen so today i went out and bought a new 80gb. i install the new itunes 7 and it doesnt recognize my ipod, the new hardware thing pops up and asks me to enter a cd but the new ipods software is in itunes 7 i guess? i have no clue what to do. please help...thank you

yes ok then.... downlaod a prgram called ipod wizard from www.ipodwizard.net
the only thing this program will do is tell you wether your ipod is actaully on your computer.
If it shows up there... try uninstalling iTunes 7 and then put an older version (6) back on. Then try to sync ure ipod.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Help my system wont recognize the cd drive at all

Originally running os 8.1 now running 9.2.2 Will Start fine but does not recognize the cd drive. Someone gave me help a few years ago with this and I lost the post. Please help me get my system to recognize the cd drive. thanks

Boot from your system install cd (the one that originally came w/your comp) while holding down the c key & run Disk First Aid from the Utilities folder. Have DFA repair any errors it finds. If unable to repair you will need to run a 3rd party utility cd.
Utilities are best run from the CDs to avoid system interference & false readings/reports.
You must use the versions that are compatible w/your OS system & keep the utilities updated to avoid damaging/harming/trashing your system.
You need to make your own decision on which to purchase. Read up on them on their websites because each do something a little different.

Help please - itunes wont recognize my phone (apple mobile device support)

every time i plug my iphone 4 in i get the error message "this iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed" and then advises me to uninstall and reinstall itunes.
i have uninstalled (thoroughly, in the correct order) and reinstalled at least 30 times. the apple mobile device support is not installing. i'm running a laptop on windows vista. i've been into device management and the iphone (the driver being one for a camera) is there but amds isn't.
i'm clueless. please help!

Follow the directions here to restart the AMDS, if that doesn't work, follow the instructions at the end of this support document to reinstall the AMDS. Pay attention to the various steps, they MUST be done in a certain order:

Help my pc wont recognize my iphone

Hi my daughter has had an i tunes account for a few years on my pc for her ipod.I recently bought an i phone and have created my own account on my phone,and have purchased my own music.I tried to sinc my phone to itunes on my pc,but it will only recognize my daughters account.I cannot get my account info to load and therefor cannot load my own music.
I tried deleating i tunes from my computer and then re installed it,but it still comes up in my daughters account.
Does anyone have any info they can share on how i can get my own account to show?

try changing the username in the top right corner (click and hold) of itunes maybe it will work

Itunes wont recognize my new ipod touch

I just bought an ipod touch and when i connect it to my pc, auto pop up recognized it as Apple Ipod but as a camera. When i go to My Computer, i see a camera icon next to APPLE IPOD. iTunes does not appear when the ipod is connected and when i do open itunes the ipod dont appear on the left. When i press the on/off switch, it just has a picture of a UBS and an arrow pointing to itunes icon.

Classic wont recognize new printer.

My boss just got a new printer - which can only be installed in OS X 10.2 or higher. Now - she has a program that only runs in Classic - OS 9 - and she needs to print, but Classic wont recognize the new printer.
I've found the article on how to share printers between the two - will that fix it - or do you need installation software for OS 9 as well - in which case the new printer can't be used to print from the older program.

It would help if you list the model and make of the printer. I am new to X but have been reading that there are often work arounds for this type of situation. There may be an alternate driver. I have just started to read about "GIMP" printing which i think is like generic driver for many printers.
Start with the make and model and I feel confident others will offer more help. It is quite possible that there may be a workable solution........Jim

Pavilion G7 wont recognize new hard drive

My old samsung 640 gig hard drive was failing in my G7laptop I bought in 2012. I bought a replacement 500 gig drive that was similar as the old one. After installing it and trying to run the HP supplied recovery discs it wont recognize the new drive. It starts to boot from the disc and then about 2 minutes later a a little window pops up that says no HDD installed and then shuts off. I boot into BIOS and try to run a HDD scan and it says no HDD installed. To troubleshoot to make sure the motherboard or SATA cable isn't bad I reinstalled my old HDD and was able to go into the HP UEFI and scan the old hard drive so that can't be the problem if it can recognize my old drive . I tried calling tech support and all I get is them trying to sell me a HP supplied drive which I don't need because in my technical mind there should be no difference in the drives. They are both SATA 3 and therefore compatible. Please help!

Thanks mbutler1981. Advance Format drives shouldn't be a problem for this computer, it is older one that you can run into issues with.
So basically you are trying to get the drive to be recognized by the BIOS. First verify the physical connections are solid, and in place.
The next thing to do when the new drive is connected is to perform a hard reset: Performing a Hard Reset or Forced Reset
If you are unable to see the drive in the BIOS, verify that you have the latest version of BIOS using this for guidance:
Update the BIOS. If it is lower than version F.26 then you can update it: HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors) Version F.26
If you are still having problems with this drive in this computer, the problem is either the drive itself, or a compatibility issue. The manufacturer of the drive might be able to confirm the final diagnosis.

My brand new laptop won't even recognize a new device (iTouch)

I just got a new Dell Inspiron 1525 with Windows Vista 32-bit OS for school, and it wont recognize a new device when I plug in my iPod Touch. My iPod doesn't even say it is being charged. I tried every USB port on multiple devices, so I know they all work. Also, when I plug it back into my old computer where I first synced it, it works just fine. Help me please, I can't go off to school without being able to use my iPod, it was quite an investment.

I fixed it. It's a long story.
When I first installed iTunes, whenever it was running, every seven seconds a message would pop up saying 'AppleMobileDeviceHelper' was malfunctioning, or something of the sort. So I got sick of it, found the program in "Program Files" and uninstalled it. Well, I have been hopelessly browsing through all sorts of iPod help files on the internet, and one said to try to reinstall iTunes, and mentioned the AppleMobileDeviceHelper, which sparked my memory of deleting it, and led me to believe it was my problem. So after uninstalling iTunes, I went back to reinstall it, and saw it gave the option of "Windows Vista (64-bit)" or "Windows XP or Windows Vista." When I first installed it, I had no idea there were multiple kinds of Vista, so I must have automatically just picked the first option, bringing the weeks of distress.
Boy do I feel dumb, but hopefully people can learn from my mistake.

So I formatted a brand new hard drive to MAC OS (Journal), I then could save on the hard drive. Not two days later Im back at square one, the program wont recognize the hard drive again.

So, hard to beleive, but I am having some trouble with Final Cut Pro X.
This last week I formatted a brand new hard drive to MAC OS (Journal),
so that I could save on that hard drive.
Well it went great.
I saved my project on there and copied a few others over as to free up space on my Laptop.
Then, not two days later Im back at square one,
the program wont recognize the hard drive.
It wont even open the events up off my hard drive,
as to jog the program into reqcognizing the scratch disk (which worked twice before).
What happened?
How do I get the program to re-recongize my newly formatted hard drive?
Please help!

The name of the drive, or the name of some folders inside the drive, may fool FCP X into believing it is a camera.
Also, you should not use the drive for time machine backups.
