Help my editor is playing gams with me

Question

I m working with photoshop element 9 in a mac . I move a picture from organiser into editor to make some changes . if finnish to safe the picture it opens in organiser as an hourglass not as the picture . wenn I click the hourglass in the organiser , then I got the picture . what is wrong ?
is there anybody to help me in easy step by step .

I’m not sure as the Organizer was only first introduced to the Mac with PSE9. But thumbnails for jpegs should not be a problem. On windows it’s possible to associate files with programs e.g. to make Elements the default program for all jpegs. Maybe you can check your settings on OSX.
Otherwise the Organizer preferences may have become corrupted, needing to be automatically re-built on a re-start.
On Windows go to the path shown at the bottom
Quit Organizer
Rename the file with the key symbol psa.prf as psa.old
Restart the application and wait for the prefs to get rebuilt.
On Mac go to: your username >> library >>preferences and delete the files that begin with com.Adobe.ElementsOrganizer 9
On OSX Lion the user library files are hidden. In the Finder, option click the Go menu to reveal.
Then repair permissions to complete.
C: \ Users \ [your user name] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ Elements Organizer\ 9.0 \ Organizer\
