HELP! My Extravert Bluetooth won't stay paired.

My Extravert paired easily with my car (Lexus IS350) and performed nicely for a week or 10 days, then suddenly balked. Now I get in my car and the screen says "Bluetooth connection unsuccessful." I've deleted the pairing from both devices and started over from scratch but now it won't pair at all.
The LG Forum (lgforum.com) shows the same complaint from all sorts of Lexus drivers (I haven't checked for other auto brands). None of us had any problems whatsoever with previous phones connecting to our Bluetooth. There seems to be a bug in the Extravert software that causes it to choke.
I need my phone to work with my car. This has already caused one scrape and a near-accident close call.
Two questions:
1. Can Verizon exert any pressure to make LG fix this in a timely manner?
2. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to jimmy it in the meantime?
I'd really appreciate some advice, other than the obvious "get rid of the phone." Thanks.

I definitely understand how important the bluetooth feature is. Since you have done the first step of deleting the pairing and repairing my next suggestion would be to complete a factory reset to the device. This will erase everything on the device so please back up prior. You can complete this reset by following the visuals here . After the reset please reprogram the device by dialing *228 send option 1. Once you pair the device please observe and share your results. Magic Mouse won't stay paired with booth Boot Camp and Windows 7

So I have a Broadcom Bluetooth 2.1 dongle on Mac Pro 1,1, Lion, Boot Camp 3.3 and Windows 7 latest service pack and latest drivers/operating system. Everything is up-to-date.
My problem started with Windows 7 not wanting to pair with mini alluminum keybord AND magic mouse. I followed a post somewhere and I was able to get the keyboard to pair and work when I switch between Lion and Bootcamp Windows 7 by removing it from Bluetooth Prefs in Lion, adding it to Windows 7 BC, and then adding it again in Lion.
However, magic mouse will still work with onlly one: If I add it to Windows 7 and then restart to Lion, add it there and then restart in Windows, it shows as paired in Windows but it does not respond. I then remove it from Windows 7 and add it again, and it works. Then I reboot in Lion. It is on the list, but not connected. Even the option to connect is not available. I try restarting the mouse, no luck. The only way I can get it to work in Lion again, is to remove it and add it again. Now, I go back to Windows 7, It is there on the list, but it does not respond. In short, the Magic Mouse only seems to want to stay paired (or work) with either Win 7 or Lion. Getting it to work with one cancels the other.
BTW, every time I pair it with Lion, I set it as a Favorite.
Any suggestions?

Some more info I have gleaned from my 13" white Core 2 Duo Macbook (not sure what generation - came with Tiger though). If I uninstall the Intel graphics drivers, the Sleep option is gone from Windows 7 but it will hibernate, and when resuming from hibernation the screen comes back on. However, when the Intel drivers are reinstalled the "screen off" problem is present for both hybernate and sleep. Two other data points: the power manager can't turn off the screen (after X minutes, etc) and I can't get any picture on an external monitor either. Just wanted to share.

I recently acquired a pair of Bluetooth speakers (the TDK A33), and am unable to connect it to my PC. The Bluetooth interface sees the speakers, connects with
them for a few seconds when I try to pair, and then disconnects. The speakers connect to my phone just fine, so it's not the speakers (and TDK tech support hasn't exactly been very helpful).
I'm running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo IdeaPad Y580; I tried updating
my Bluetooth drivers, as a few sites recommended (pulling them from them Lenovo site), but still no dice. I've read a few things that seem to suggest is a
Windows 8.1 issue.

Are you having problems connecting to other devices? If not, have you contacted your Mercedes dealership to discuss the issue? Have to checked to see if there's a firmware available for your Comand system? Have you deleted the pairing with your car and then re-paired?
What have you done to troubleshoot so far?

Help! Folder Windows won't stay open in the Finder

Please, what is causing this and how do I fix it? Some folders will not stay open in the finder. For instance, when I click on the Applications folder (either the actual or alias), the window will try to open, but before it can show its content, it disappears. This doesn't happen with all folders, only some of them. This is very disturbing.
Please help if you can.

Through the network I was able to figure out what was going on. There was a weird file, its name was made up of Chinese characters. Whenever it was supposed to show up on the screen of this one mac, the window would close. I guess that particular mac isn't set up to show those characters. I was able to trash that file and that took care of it.

Help! curve 9300 won't stay charged for more than 8 hours

I'm hoping someone can help... My curve is nearly 2 years old so my warranty is over. I replaced the battery 4 months ago b/c my phone wouldn't stay charged for even 1 day. Virgin said they could do nothing for me so I went ahead and just bought a new battery. The same problem has arose but its getting worse each day. The battery symbol shows its at about 80%, I will send one bbm and it will shut off (and not turn back on) until I plug it in. When I do so the battery is at about 20%. I don't even use my phone all day! So I don't know if the problem is the phone or the battery, but since its a new battery I can't help but to think the problem is the phone. I'll take any suggestions to avoid having to get a new phone.

From what you describe, I fear your deduction (that it is the BB) may be correct. But, to truly know, you must complete the following:
1) Obtain a known-good and already fully charged battery...put it into your BB and see what happens.
2) Obtain a known-good and identical BB...put your battery into it and see what happens.
The results of this will give a better indication as to the root of the problem. From your post, you may have partially completed the first part of this...but cannot tell if that new battery was already fully charged when you first used it. It's important to use these precise conditions as they best indicate the root of the problem.

Iphone 4 bluetooth won't stay on

Hi, trying to connect fitbit flex via iPhone 4 Bluetooth. Bluetooth switch toggled on green but as soon as you leave settings the Bluetooth icon disappears from the top of the phone screen, so no device syncing. Both iPhone and device are running the latest firmware. Any help greatly appreciated.

Won't stay awake

Please help!
My G5 won't stay awake. Yesterday when I was using my computer, it went into slep mode while I was online. I pressed a key on the key board, and it woke back up for a few seconds, and then went back to sleep. I went through this a few times, and it kept doing the same thing. I was eventually able to keep it awake long enough to shut it down. Today, it was doing the same thing, so I shut it down, and unplugged it for a while, and when I plugged it in and turned on again, it would still only stay awake for a few seconds. Rign now, it is unplugged.
Any help at all would be greatly appriciated!

You will need to put the car stereo back into discovery/pairing mode. That may mean you removing the initial pairing of the device. See the user guide for the radio on how to put the device into discovery/pairing mode, and if necessary, how to remove the original pairing. my wireless keyboard will not stay on long enough to be recognized with my ipad to pair it. It pairs just fine with my macbook pro (i'm using it right now to prove my point.) I bought it to use for the ipad not with the macbook. I have replaced batteries and tried the aluminum trick as well. it's obvious to me that it is not a case of it not working but why it won't work with the ipad is beyond me. Help is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. The light on my keyboard won't stay lit. Have changed to new batteries. It used to work fine and when I opened Bluetooth this morning (I have not used the keyboard in a while) it recognized "Apple Wireless Keyboard". After trying to connect and getting an error message (tried this about a dozen times) I clicked on Forget this Device. Turned off Bluetooth and back on. Sometimes it will pull up "Keyboard" but not Apple Wireless keyboard as in the past and which is what shows on my iphone (it connects automatically). Then I thought maybe the iPhone Bluetooth was interfering with the keyboard connecting so I turned it off on the iPhone. Same issue. Shows keyboard as discoverable but will not connect. Unless you're trying to tether your phone to your computer or create a personal hotspot, it won't pair with your computer by bluetooth. File transfer by bluetooth is not supported. So, you can quit trying unless you're trying to tether.

I just upgraded my 3G iPhone to a iPhone 4S and when you turn the car off the phone does not stay paired with the Bluetooth in the car. NEVER happened with the 3G iPhone. Is there a fix for this problem?

The little circle means you are connected to Edge data (if you are on GSM). It is the slowest of the data speeds. There has to be a reason you are losing your wifi. Have you tried to reset your wifi router? Does the wifi stay connected at locationis other than home? Steps to try for wifi troubles are after resetting the router, reset your phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If this does not help, then go into Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. Understand this will remove all wifi passwords of other wifi networks as well. If this doesn't work, then you may have to try and restore the phone, first from a backup and if that doesn't help, then as a new device.

The iPhone includes a one year warranty. If an Apple store is not nearby, you can call AppleCare and handle an exchange under warranty over the phone. Macbook won't stay turned off. Please Help

so i spilled some water on my keyboard and a few of the keys are no longer working however one of the keys is acting like its held down thus keeping my macbook powered up. so every time i shut down it just powers right back up. My question is will an external keyboard cancel out the built-in keyboard and is there a way to make my macbook only power up by pressing the power button at the top right to temporarily fix my problem until i can get it fixed or buy an external keyboard. Any help is good help at this point.

I've had this same problem off and on for months. It is a major pain since the battery drains quickly win the phone won't stay in the standby or off modes.
I went into the genius bar once but it stopped having the problem about an hour before my appointment.
Usually when this occurs I just dock the phone and hope for the best. Sometimes it fixes itself when attached to the doc and sometimes a hard reset works, but not always. Of course, when I'm out and about I'm screwed since the phone drains quickly.
I am currently experiencing the same problem so I will try a restore at home.
I want this addressed before my warranty is up!
