You have the "standard problem". Open the page in the browser
and note that
you immediately see a javascript error.
AC_FL_RunContent is not defined
[Break on this error] AC_FL_RunContent(

This means that your Scripts folder is not where the code
says it is. You
say it's here -

but it's not - it's here -

  • Installed flash won't run on Mac OS 10.5.8?

Flash Player 10.3 has stopped working on Safari on our Mac OS x 10.5.8; I have installed/uninstalled it several times but we still get the same message. I have researched this forum and thought I had found success on a question posed Sep 26, 2011, however when went to Safari-Help-Installed Plug ins, there isn't one listed for Flash, so that answer won't solve our problem. Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt are both listed in library/internet plug-ins folder. Please help!

Have you got the answer to this because I have the same problem!! I use a Mac g4 and have version OSX10.5.8. Until the other day I could use Flash player. I am not an expert but can normally solve most problems. This is driving me mad. Can anyone help?
    Many thanks

  • Flash won't run with IE7

I am running IE7 and have "successfully" downloaded Flash 9
numerous times (according to the Adobe website) yet it doesn't run.
I can find no record of it on my pc and keep getting prompted by
websites that I need to download Flash (particularly frustrating as
my kids look over my shoulder wanting to get into Webkinz but I
    can't!!).
Looking for help as to why. Do I need to change some IE
setting or do something else to get it to run? The fact that I
can't find any reference to Flash anywhere in my PC despite the
    successful download is particularly puzzling.

    Hi trey3man,
If you can see the version 9.0.115.0 from this site:
    http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/
Flash Player is installed and working.
I would check to see that your IE settings are appropriately
set to play this specific site.

  • Multi-load flash won't run in browser

I have a flash file that plays an intro and presents a table of contents. Each "chapter" loads a different movie into the movie container. Works great by itself which you can see here:
    http://www.lionprecision.com/tech-library/technotes/tech-flash/cve/c-v-e-player.swf
However, when I place the main swf (c-v-e-player.swf) in a web page using Dreamweaver, I only get the intro and TOC, but the chapters won't play, as you can see here:
    http://www.lionprecision.com/tech-library/technotes/tech-flash/f-article-0011-cve.html
Can anyone provide insight into this? Perhaps I should post on Flash Forum instead? Think I'll do that too.
    TIA,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
I would assume this has to do with the paths you are using to load the external SWF and/or FLV files. Because the SWF exists in the "cve" folder and the HTML page exists one level higher, there may be an issue with not finding the appropriate content.  If you create an HTML page in the "cve" folder and use DW to place the SWF in that page does it work?  If so, then you'll have to go back to the Flash authoring environment to make sure the paths to load the external SWF/FLV content will work.
    Hope that helps.

  • Adobe Flash won't run on google chrome after downloading OS X Yosemite.

Adobe Flash Player is either running really slow or not running at all on Chrome. I tried Safari and it runs slow on that too. Tried redownloading adobe flash player and that didn't work. Everything on my computer is also running slow that uses internet and I've checked the internet, thats working fine.
    Help Me Please!?!?

Contact Google. As for Safari I find that it works just fine. Be sure to upgrade to Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.223.
Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
    1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
        b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the
computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager
screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
    4. Reinstall Yosemite: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.
    5. Reinstall Yosemite from Scratch:
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
How to Clean Install OS X Yosemite
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • Flash won't run or uninstall

When a video comes up on a news site, it says flash player not installed. I checked and the site says it is installed and updated. I tried to uninstall and it tells me to close all windows. I did that and it still says close windows. I cleared cookies and history and rebooted and tried to uninstall and it still says to close all windows, which aren't open. I went to adobes site and tried to install from there and it tells me to close all windows. I downloaded the uninstaller to my computer and tried to run it and it says to close all windows, which are closed. Help!

  • Flash won't run, says its not loaded, when its embedded on samsung tablet and Windows 8.

On samsung tablet 500T windows 8 flash is embedded.  It says when I try to run flash that it is not loaded.  I followed all of the help and made sure all of the settings are correct.  It still will not run.  The only error is that it is NOT LOADED to download it from adobe.

Hmm, have you verified that active x filtering is not enabled?  You've probably tried the steps outlined here but take a look just in case.

  • Help: Athlon XP won't run at proper bus speed on kt3 ms6380

Ok, I'm a little confused now but i pulled an AMD athlon 1300 a1300aps3b (200mhz bus) out of the computer. It was working, but i didn't note the speed.
Then i went to test an amd athlon XP 1700 ax1700dmt3c which i had laying around. I thought that this proc was bad months ago. It didn't work when i put it in until i reset the bios config.
The board is an MSI KT3 ULTRA MS-6380e:
Now it works, but runs at 1100mhz (100x11), and it should be 1467 (133x11). Changing the fsb in the bios to 133 (from 100) results in no post. Changing the multiplier does nothing. On top of that i can't get the other proc to post anymore either
Any ideas? does this sound like a motherboard problem, a processor problem, or do i just not have the config correct?
Hmm, on top of this, there seems to be some gibberish in the bios when i scroll through voltage settings.
So is it more common for a mobo to fry a proc or vice versa? I would like to test out this stuff with another system.

What more information is there to provide about the CPU's besides what i've already given?
The cpu was use to work in the computer was an AMD athlon a1300aps3b, 1300mhz, 200mhz fsb, 1.7v, 256k cache.
The cpu that i swapped in and that ran succesfully but only at 1100mhz was a amd athlon XP ax1700dmt3c 1700mhz, 266fsb, 256k cache.
The ram is KVR266X64C25/512 DDR 266bus speed.
The i've tried 3 different power supplies, some older no name brand ones, and a newer xclio 500 watt. I've tested the rails on the psu's and they are good.
I swapped out the geforce 4200 for a small pci video card to make sure it wasn't consuming too much power. I can still boot with the xp 1700, but at only 1100mhz, and i can't boot with the 1300 at all.
Nothing else in the system matters because i've taken everything off and i'm running the system outside of the case on a rubber matt; to make sure it's not a short.
I did notice that the system will boot an then immediately shut off if the heat sink isn't fully clamped on or flush. But i've got that sorted out as well. I have read all the stickies and guides.
So, does this information help you any further? Can a bad processor mess up a motherboard? Or, if it's the motherboard, should i not try another processor in it for fear of frying it?

  • Flash won't run

I have a new Macbook Pro, running on OSX 10.9, and i installed Flash but when I go on youtube it wont run when I go on youtube.com it says i still need to install the latest version of flash. When I installed it, it said it was complete, that I completed step 3 of 3. I looked at the trouble shooting and I did everything right, cookies ok, pop up windows are not blocked. I dont know what the problem is???

    Safari or Firefox?

  • Flash won't run smoothly

Hi, I've created a short into flash for a website-to-be but
it pauses and doesn't run smooth when uploaded to the site. The
flash movie is only 600 kb. What can I do to fix this?
    http://www.highmarkdesigns.com/Proofing/worldfamous/animation/intro.html

    Hi Hanna,
The Save and Compact is an option right under the Save
option. It removes any memory of changes made and objects that no
longer exist. But if everything in that piece is a jpeg, that's not
    likely to change it much.
Based on the visual quality of the jpegs, I'd say they are
probably high KB pieces... GIF's would be more appropriate and
would probably provide some file size savings. jpgs are better for
images with lots of colors and shades. GIFs are better for images
with limited colors and large color areas like in that piece.
Is the 600KB all involved with just that one scene? If so, I
personally would redraw it all in Flash, just for the KB savings,
but that's me. As I said, the amount of graphics there would amount
to next to nothing as Flash drawn graphics.

  • Please Help - iTunes installer won't run on double-click

I am facing a reload of Win 7 x64 tonight if I don't get this fixed. When I run the installer all it does is create a temp folder and put an .msi in there. Nothing else happens. No errors or messages, no hung processes. nothing.
I've completely uninstalled itunes and every apple product. I've tried QuickTime independently and it does the same thing. The Windows installer is clean with no Apple entries. I initially got the message "itunes + QuickTime have an invalid signature" when trying to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2 which prompted me to completely remove everything. My iPhone4 is coming Thursday so I've got to get this working!!
    thanks all.

I had this same problem. I followed the instructions on how to use MSCONFIG listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1275
In my case, iTunes & Quicktime were already uninstalled, so I just skipped the step about checking "qtask" & "iTunes Helper."
I used MSCONFIG to re-boot in selective start up mode. Then, I fully shutdown Virus protection. The iTunes installer ran after doing this.

    Thanks for the report(s).
That is generally the best cure, just be sure to Repair Permissions before & after any update!
