Help! My iPad 3 is stuck with the Apple Logo, and iTunes is unable to detect my iPad.
I have a iPad 3 Wifi+Cellular. I just turned it on, and it's been on the Apple logo for 1 hour! What should I do? I thought I should go to iTunes, to see if I can do anything. But iTunes is unable to detect the iPad! I've tried all my USB ports, numerous times, and it is not working! What should I do? (I think I'm out of Warranty).
First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Once you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most Recent Backup...

The typical fix if the progress bar totally freezes - meaning no movement at all for more than 20 minutes - and iTunes will no recognize the device - is to try to put the iPad into recovery mode. That is explained here.

However, don't jump the gun. Keep an eye on the progress bar and if it is moving at all - even very slowly - let it go for a while. I'm updating my iPod touch first and the progress bar is moving but very slowly. -

Press and hold the button on the top and the button on the front at the same time.

I can't restore and make my ipad work. every time i start restoring it it gets stuck and error message (1603) pops on the screen.

To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that does not work, you can try restoring your iPad iOS Software.

Hi, I'm having trouble with my Ipad 2. I was recently playing a game and my ipad just shut off on me. Then when I turned it back on it was stuck on the Apple Logo and it won't go to the home screen at all. I plugged it in my itunes but I don't know what to do from there. I left it charged hoping the apple logo would dissappear but it didn't and now for some reason the battery is always dead. I really need help. Does anybody have any suggestions? Please.

Just upgraded my iPad to IOS5 and when the download was completed, a window said that there was an error and it could not restore. Now I have a black screen with the Apple logo and the circle lines. None of the buttons respond. Help, please!!

if that dose not work then you can always put it into DFU mode by connecting to your computer and holding down the home button and sleep/wake button for excatly 10 seconds and then relesing the sleep/wake button and keep holding down the homebutton till iTunes tells you it has detected an iPad in recovery mode then just do a restore

Plug the phone into your computer via the USB cable and open iTunes.
Once you have connected the phone to your computer and opened iTunes, hold the home and sleep buttons down until it goes blank. You are now in DFU mode. Click the restore button in iTunes.
Note: You will lose all data. You can restore from a backup if you previously saved one. -

Please help I just bought this Ipod used and didnt know it was stuck on this screen. Brand new IPhone stuck with the Apple logo
My phone is brand-new, bought it yesterday together with two more for my sisters, and it asked for an update. After it finished updating, it told me to connect to Itunes, which I did. As soon as I connected it to Itunes, the only option left was to restore. I waited 10 minutes for it to restore until it came to the finishing point, but in the end, there was an error, and since then, my phone has been stuck with the apple logo on it. button at the same time until it turns off, but when I turn it on, the apple logo comes back and stays. I left the apple logo on the entire night to see if it would go off, but the apple logo only came off when the battery ran out. My sister also had an update and her phone didnt ask to be connected to Itunes, it just turned on and had a start up as if it was the first time she was turning it on. Stuck with the apple logo screen
So my iPhone is stuck with the apple logo. I've restarted my iPhone several times and reinstalled itunes. It just stays with the apple logo and when I plug it into itunes it freezes itunes. I can't restore my iPhone, because it's not coming up in iTunes. It's been stuck at the screen with the apple logo for more then an hour. I can reset, but it never finishes loading.
I'm hours away from an ATT or apple store.This problem happened to me. You have a "bricked" phone. The problem was addressed in the thread "Bricked iphone after the 10th sync".
