    Try:
    - Another cable
    - Another USB port
    - Reboot the computer
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My macbook air wont go past the apple screen with the loading circle.

My Macbook air (Early 2008 edition) Boots up fine, but it stays on the apple screen with the loading circle for a few minutes and then shuts down. I did the Command+v and it always stops at the same spot with:
    disk0s2: I/0 error.
    (see picture)
I have already tried pretty much all the commands while booting up possible, and to no avail.
    Please help.

Sorry for delay been super busy at work - have you tried to boot to your operating sytem disc - by inserting the disc  - then power down the unit - then power it up again while holding down the C key until you see the gear start spinning.  Once it comes up - go to utilities at the top of the screen - then disc utility - then selcet your hard drive in the left hand pane and then on the right hand pane select first aid and click verify disk in the lower right hand corner - your hard drive may be failing and this test will let you know if that is the case. If so you need to backup your hard drive - replace it and put your data back on the newly placed drive.  - please let me know how the verify disc goes

  • I did a factory reset on my ipod touch, but now when i try turning it on it just goes to the apple screen with the loading sign

i did a factory reset on my ipod touch but now when i try turning it on it just goes to the apple screen with a loading sign, ive let my battery die and tried reconnecting but it still wont work. it doesnt even come up on itunes.

Why won't it let you sync?  What happens when you try to sync it? Any error messages from iTunes?  How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library?  In other words, what options do you have selected from under the iPod's Music tab in iTunes?  To access this tab, plug your iPod in, select it under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes, and over to the right locate and select the Music tab along the top.
Or are you trying to manually manage your iPod's contents?  In other words, is the Manually manage music and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab?

  • Screen stuck on grey apple screen with a loading sign

I thought i had lost my charger and i wasnt willing to fork out the money to buy one for awhile. During a recent move i found it. I charged it up but when i got to my login screen i kept trying to type my password and it wouldnt except it. After looking online i found several posts about click buttons i dont remember what exactly i clicked but it was along the lines of " option and the R key" Another screen popped up and it had several options one of which was to try to do a back up/ restore it through timemachine. I treid that and it wasnt working. I went back to the screen and saw an option that said install the lion thing. i tried that and it didnt work. I was frustrated so i decided it would be best to just shut down my computer and try again when i was less riled up. Well now it has been stuck on the grey apple screen with a loading sign under it for atleast a day now if not longer. I have no idea what to do. I'm not sure if i have apple care or not. Oh and not really sure what operating system i was using.

Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Unknown "source"?  Do you mean unknown "error" followed by a number?

Follow the instructions in the article.  When you connect your phone again, you may have to press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button until iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode.
