Help!!! My iPhone notes have vanished!

My iPhone 4S's notes have disappeared. I plugged my phone into my MacBook Pro to see if I can update it to my last backup but it's saying my last backup is just today when I plugged it in so it wouldn't change anything. Is there any way I could get the notes back?

Yay! it worked! The CTRL-AlT-Shift worked. I have to say when I contacted Adobe support they were no help whatsoever, just kept wanting me to buy a new program. I'm disappointed in the company's loyalty to their customers, especially for those of us who will use their products for a long time. While I don't intend to buy every updated version of the software that comes about I intend to buy them. If I'm going to spend $300+ for a program I better get lifetime support for that program.

My notes have vanished!

I have just go into my notes and have just noticed all of my notes have vanished! I didn't delete them as I need them! Has anyone else noticed this and how do I get them back?

Good news everybody - 10.8.3 has finally solved the problem!
There were a few things to do after updating to get it to work though:
Go into the Library folder (hold down the option key and select Library from the Go menu in the Finder)
Type com.apple.notes into the search box
Delete everything that it finds
Go to System Preferences and select Mail, Contacts & Calendars
Go through each account, first making sure that the IMAP Path Prefix on the Advanced... button is set to INBOX and then making sure that Notes is ticked in the Use With: box.
And that was it! It only took them 7 months and 3 system patches to fix it!

My iPhone notes have disappeared

Hey guys, I have got a bit of a situation here. I am using iPhone 5 on iOS 8.1.2 . Two days ago I used my Notes appllication and all my previous notes were there in their place.Sadly,yesterday I opened the Notes app and there was nothing in it. Absolutely nothing, ALL MY NOTES ARE GONE, I had some very importatant stuff there and I desperately need it,but they are all gone.
I have never used the iCloud account for Notes syncing. Today I went to an authorized Apple service here in Bulgaria and they told me about that iCloud syncing thing, but I have never used it, even when I tryied to turn ON the notes syncing it needed me to set up an iCloud email.
I have Yahoo mail account in my Mail app, but still I have never ever used the notes syncing on that one too.
I know I can use a back-up,but that is not a sollution to me for now.
Can anyone help me figure out my problem and solve it.

Hi Bran, no the notes relate to the notes field in my contacts only (not associated email account)
The associated email accounts do not have options like iCloud / therefore no notes toggle for that ac

Help! iPhone not updating 1.1.4

I got a brand new iPhone from the apple store after they swapped it with my old one because of some issues. The new one does not install the 1.1.4 update. It says error occured. Can anyone help me?

I have a weird situation similar to what you are describing...
I HAD a 1.1.3 8 GB iPhone I updated to 1.1.4 the same day it came out. I know for a fact it updated because I did a full restore before the update and then updated. I saw the Software version number at 1.1.4. Today, I connect my iPhone, leave it while it syncs and when I come to get it a few minutes, it says it is a 1.1.3 software version. Is there something I don't know about?

Notes have vanished

I have just removed my @mac.com account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
I didn't realise but my notes must have been created and saved on my mac.com account as they have now disappeared.
I've tried to switch on notes sync in my icould account settings (signed into using my @mac.com ID) but it asked me to create an icloud.com email address. I already have one of those so I tried to set up a new account using @icould.com as an ID. This enabled me to sync notes, but this hasn't reinstated the old notes.
Any help gratefully received.

Anyone have any clue about on how I can get back the notes which were synced with mac.com account?? Desperately need them!!

When I opened Illustrator CS5 today I notice all of my tool bars have vanished. I would like to know how to get them back. I'm using Windows.

Stored Procedure Help: Source does not have a runnable target

I'm an MS-SQL guy, so I'm fairly familiar with T-SQL syntax, but am having one heck of a time trying to take code I've written for SQL and transform it to work with Oracle.
Anyways, I'm using Oracle's SQL Developer, and I've got a stored procedure that calls the Alter Table statement and adds a column to it. What table you want to add the column to? rtatablename1 or rtatablename2? I assumed 1 for now.
I tried to preserve your code structure so you can familiarize with it.
This piece should work, but you need to make sure you validate the parameters you concatenate to your strings when you use dynamic SQL.
That's when SQL injection takes place: when you trust the parameters you are receiving and don't validate them.

Why does the iPhone not have expandable memory (i.e. MicroSD Chips)?

I know that many phones come with a MicroSD slot to come with the phone, but why does Apple NOT provide a slot for the iPhone. I would like to know the answer to this hardware puzzle, because many competing phones have these advantages. The only upside I see in the iPhone is web versatility and stability, and that's diminishing very very fast.

No, posting on a site for a different product saying your product doesn't meet my needs make it like a Surface is trolling. Chiding someone who made a comment 2 years ago who isn't even here is trolling.
Basically what you did was buy a product that you knew didn't have 2 important features that you think are essential and now you want Apple to add that. And even if they did add that then you would be posting about the fact that you can't copy anything to the USB or microSD device and you can't copy apps, documents, etc. Which is because iDevices don't have an accessible file system. And you've already mentioned you want that. Due to security reasons it isn't going to happen.
What you've said you need is a table that is a full computer. You need to buy the Surface Pro (skip the RT, there are limitations you will not be happy with). It will give you a USB port, accessories for a microSD and a fully accessible file system.
The good news is Apple's devices hold resale value far, far better than any other comparable devices. So sell yours and get a Surace Pro. You will be glad you did.

Help! All calendars have vanished!!

I use iCal regularly. When I opened the program yesterday, it was blank! No events, no to-dos, and no calendars at all! I typically have about 6 or 7 calendars, some subscribed, some not, and not a one shows up in the list. The physical files for the calendars are still on the computer in the appropriate place (~/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources/etc...), but they do not show up in iCal. I can't import them either. Also when I go to create a new calendar, it shows up briefly (for a second) in the calendar list, and then disappears. It's almost like the calendars are hidden. I don't have a backup database (I know, not so smart) so I have nothing to revert to. On my iPod, though, all of my calendars that were synced show up with all the events. I just synced my iPod, and my iCal is still blank, but all the correct information is still on the iPod. Any suggestions on how I might uncover/display, locate etc... my calendars?

Well, I tried removing ALL the iCal preferences, with no success. So I tried your second suggestion. I moved the sources folder to the desktop, and deleted the rest of the files in the folder. I opened iCal, and as I was about to import the files from the old Sources folder, ALL of my calendars reappeared!! I checked, and a new sources folder with all my calendars was in the iCal folder. Perhaps something in the old Sources folder was corrupt. Regardless, I have my calendars back...and I'm going to back them up as well!
As far as anything changing over the last couple of days - nothing that I can think of that would make sense...nothing new installed recently at all. The only change was in the usage of the computer - I used to keep iCal open all the time, but I've been moving around from place to place much more than I used to, and therefore not always keeping it open. So it's been opened and closed a bunch more than usual, but other than that nothing's changed. Don't know, though, how that could have caused any problems.
Anyway, it's fixed, which is what's most important. Thanks for all your help!

Help! System Prefs. have vanished!

Hi,
I have iMac 2GHz Intel with 1 GB SDRAM running 10.4.8.
When I go to Apple Menu and System Prefs. nothing appears on the screen. File must have been corrupted or lost somehow.
How do I get this to work again?

The issues are often affected with the menu bar driven programs such for Help Menu and Menu bar extra, Toolbar customized utilities or application-specific menus, or utilities that add in an item for the System Preferences. Uninstall that types of application to test the symptoms.
Also, verify whether you install third-party applications that attempt to modify with the Apple menu’s contents. It is defined by the system so that third-party applications are not allowed to modify the implementation.
Preferences for System Configuration are persistently stored in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist which is a hierarchically structured database. If you think this plist is corrupted, remove it into temporarily created a folder on the Desktop and restart the computer to check the reproducibility. If this does not solve the issues, you may want to put it back to the original location.
Two more scenarios you may want to consider:
If you think the symptoms would be caused by user-specific issues, try creating a new user account to test.
Because the system configuration storing mechanism is intertwined with systems widely such as /var/db, frameworks and etc, you may need to perform "Archive and Install" solution.

Help! iPhone not updating

Please help!
I updated itunes and Safari today and then tried to update to the new software on my iphone and now have nothing on my phone at all. From what I can gather my computer cannot connect to Port 80 or 443 which it needs to do to connect to itunes to update my iphone. This is apparently due to security software from a third party but I don't think I have that and if I do I can't find it.
Please could you tell me what to do to get my phone back?? Thank you.

HELP! DO NOT HAVE PRINTER UTILITY!

I just bought a HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One for my mac book, but my mac book doesnt have a printer setup utility. is there a possible way where I can download it? Or how would this procedure go about? by the way, it doesn't print at all because it cant find the printer setup utility. please respond asap!

Can you tell me exactly where Printer Setup Utility Is? I used Pacifist and My Install CD's but I couldn't find Printer Setup Utility. PLEASE help and show or outline the pathway in the OSX installer CD.
This is very important because right now something is wrong with my Printer Setup Utility. I am now using Epson NetConfig to configure my Ethernet connection on a 7600 instead of Printer Setup Utility. This works but I need to reset the IP address on the printer more often than I wish to do. That is why I want to reload Printer Setup Utility so that I can run this printer like I was able to in the past.

TThe battery on my iPhone 4s will not charge-has been working fine. Any ideas?

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
Can you try to use another USB cable?
Did you check the pins for any kind of damage and the port for any kind of lint or debris?
Are you using the adapter?
