HELP! My iphone screen is faded
Today my iphone screen looks cloudy and all the colour is faded. Ive tried resetting the phone and adjusting the brightness, with no results. It is so faded it is hard to see everything.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Did you try to restore "as new phone" ? Do not use your backup, it might contain files causing this problem. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If still no luck, contact Apple or see your next Apple Store to get it serviced.

Request help for iphone screen flickering
I'm using iphone 4. Few days ago (before the software update 6.0.1) i noticed my iphone screen is flickering and blurred.this bug was not fixed after IOS update 6.0.1. Thus showing horizontal lines in the screen.
please help meI did resolve it. I did the reset while the phone was plugged into my computer at home (holding down the home button and power button at the same time, until it shuts down and reboots). It took a few tries but eventually it showed the icon of the plug going into the icon for iTunes. From iTunes, I did a restore from an older backup, and then reinstalled the update from the computer. Now it works just fine. I wonder if maybe the update was just too hefty to pull down via the cellular network.
If you never did a backup of your phone to iTunes or the cloud, then you'll likely have to do a restore to factory conditions and then do the update. Incovenient, but better than a paperweight -

Hey guys! I'm new here so sorry if I have messed up on anything in this post.

I got a second hand iPhone 4s from one of my dad's mates atleast 6 months ago. As soon as I got the phone, I came across an issue it had. The issue was, 'shaking'. Basically, let me elaborate, the screen shakes, like the top of the screen where it says the time and battery charge, is also at the bottom, its almost as if everything moves up. When I go in settings, a tab like 'General' would be in a row of 3 above the original tab because it is shaking so quickly .However, this problem doesn't occur on everything. Apps (games) work fine, it's almost like applications that have a lot of words, and few colors on them get affected more. I have tried almost anything, the only way I can get it to stop shaking at all (slightly') is by turning on the setting 'Reduce White Point'. Hopefully it is not the GPU, and seeing as it does not affect games, I believe the GPU is fine. However, if anyone of you have seen, heard, or had this issue occur, and know how to fix this, or atleast stop the shaking, even if its just slightly, I would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou guys!Did you try to reduce the screen motion in Reduce motion. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, then turn on Reduce Motion.
If this does not help, and to make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the screen again.
If it still does that, this might be a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

Help, my iphone 5 is locked and will not function! I've turned it off and on and it has the same fault. What ever you press on the screen highlights with a box round it. When you press the round button with the square in the centre the voice on the phone tells you the time. Then the voice says screen lock. If I try and unlock the phone the voice says phone unlock but you can't put the code in. If you hight the box it will say the number but not put the code in?! What's the crack?

I updated my iPhone 3G today and after the update it said on iTunes that my sim was not compatible and my iPhone screen went on to slide for emergency/connect to itunes. Ive tried restoring it but it hasnt worked. Please help!
Unless the iPhone was purchased as unlocked very recently directly from an Apple Store (the only place in the US where unlocked iPhones are sold, and then only since June), which from the symptoms I doubt is the case, then it was locked to AT&T and jailbroken to make it work with an Irish cell carrier. Updating the operating system has now relocked the iPhone back to AT&T.
Only the cell carrier can institute an official unlock, one which will hold across updates of the operating system, and AT&T will not do so for any reason. All we can advise here is that you return the iPhone to your uncle and purchase an iPhone there in Ireland.

There's no way to "restore" your phone, but, you can login to iCloud.com, using your computer, locate your phone, then erase it.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
