Help... My iphone4s suddenly stopped working!!

Suddenly my home button on my iphone stopped working, it was able to press but nothing happened so in order to leave a app i had to turn my phone off.
Now my phone has turned off and when i turn it on the itunes icon with a charger icon come onto the screen and thats as far as i can go with it, iv tried logging into itunes but it wont aknowledge my phone please some one help me i dont live anywhere near a apple store and im due to fly out to my new job next week i need reconnecting please help anyone!!!1

I am not sure what happened; it was working fine and charged sufficiently and i walked into the gym and tried to turn it on, and no life. I'd say your "Scion Pioneer" radio fried your Mini; could have been a power surge, or could be a bug.
You might want to go the "aux jack" route next time.

HELP! - framesets suddenly stopped working

Hello,
I am a dreamweaver novice. I built a site using framesets,
and had them working so that when I clicked a button in a
leftframeset, a linked swf file would open in the mainframe. It had
been working fine for months, but suddenly stopped working. Now
everytime I press the button it tries to open a new window which is
a pain and takes more time. I checked the link settings in the
button in the left frame that opens the swf, and its still corect
(still says it is targeting the main frameset) ... any ideas?

I thought of this after I responded to your email....
when you assigned the link to that button, did you set the
target via the
property inspector?
If so, did you set it to go to the mainframe ? or is it set
to go to
target_blank
(which would spawn a new window).
PS: That code doesn't really help.... People would need to
see all the
code that makes up that particular page.. not just the script
for the flash.

I was trying to figure out how to 'enable web' so I could get a photo transfer app to work thru wiFi at a hotel, and I think I did something to disable the touch screen. Its stuck on the opening window and I can't slide to unlock it. also can't shut it down and reboot because I can't slide to power off.

update: I never figured out HOW I made it stop working, but a forced shutdown brought it back.

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not synced. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not touched with the iTunes sync process. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer which is not handled by iTunes. Most importing software includes an option to delete the photos/videos from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete. If is my understanding that some Windows import software supports importing photos from the Camera Roll, but not videos. Regardless, the import software should not delete the photos/videos from the Camera Roll unless you set the app to do so.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup. If you synced your iPhone with iTunes before the videos on the Camera Roll went missing and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since they went missing, you can try restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup. Don't sync the iPhone with iTunes again and decline the prompt to update the iPhone's backup after selecting Restore.

If the technician at the shop is competent, he has given you a diagnosis that should have identified the problem. You could run the Apple Hardware Test to verify the findings:

Go to the iFixit.com and Powerbookmedic.com web sites. They have parts and installation instructions. To install an Airport card is fairly easy.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Do you get sound on any apps e.g. Music and Videos but not others ? If you do then have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Just responded to this in another thread (note we used Captivate 7 so it might be a different error).
We found that when we created files with embedded swf files that existed ABOVE widgets in the timeline, when someone else tried to open our file it broke/we got the runtime error. The original person could still open it for a time, but eventually the cache would clear and they couldn't.
However, if we ensured swf files are BELOW widgets in the source files, it didn't break. In fact, if we found one that was breaking and got the author to move the swf file on the timeline, it would start working for others.

Help! My airport has suddenly stopped working!

I was mid browse and airport suddenly stopped working. I know it's not my wireless router as I can still connect with my wifi only iPad (typing this with it)
I have tried everything. Rebooted several times. Ran fsck twice. Ran repair permissions. Cleaned caches etc.
I can't even run network diagnostics because it won't accept the password even though I know it's right.
Any help appreciated

I now suspect a corrupt plist. Can anyone suggest which one(s) to try removing?

Gmail has suddenly stopped working on my iPhone4S. I am not getting any type of error message, it is just not updating any new received/sent messages since yesterday, but I can still send a message. My Gmail account is working fine on my MacBook Air and iPad, so it must be something with the phone settings that I can't figure out. The only thing that has changed recently is that I added additional iCloud storage for $.99 because I could not take any more photos... Any advice?

Do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
If that doesn't work - then delete and reinstall the email account.
Buying icloud storage has no effect - just keep in mind you bought more storage to backup to icloud and not more memory to your phone - you would need to delete data off your phone to gain back memory.

If the phone shows the "connect to iTunes" screen, the data on the phone is most likely lost.
Connecting in recovery mode is your only chance to use the phone again, besides getting it serviced by Apple.
