This all started when i went on vacation and used the wifi the resort offered for free. After 2 days i noticed my device kept saying low memory so i kept deletig some pics and videos but nothing crazy because i knew the videos i were deleting were medium sized videos that should free up plenty space. I cant even open my apps they just close right up as soon as i press them. Im concered because my made a project on an app called splice using videos and music thru my camera roll. Also guys when i connect my ipod to my itunes it shows all the vids and photos i used to have plus apps. Says i have 15gb free ! Where the **** is that space? Trust me i have bRe bokes on my ipod. Nothing! Why cant i get to the bottom of this.

Although you say you have let the battery drain, was it for long enough? Since nothing else that you've tried so far has worked, I suggest that you leave the iPod unplugged for at least four days, preferably a week. That way, if something is stopping the iPod from turning the screen on, then whatever it is will drain the battrey. However, since the screen isn't on, that may take longer than if the screen was on.
Then, after that time, plug the iPod into a power source and leave it alone for at least thirty minutes. Only after thirty minutes will it show any signs of life, but you should leave it until it is fully charged before trying to use it.
If you get to this stage, the fact that the battery has drained will cause the iPod to reset when it springs back to life.

What generation is your iPod? My sister's 2g/3g(I'm not sure which) was doing something similar, but it would put a different graphic on the screen every time. We took it in to the apple store and they didn't determine what it was. One thing they said to try was to restore it and gradually add content on to see if it's an app or something loaded on it. If that doesn't work then they said it's probably something in the software or firmware. They gave her the option of getting one exactly like the one she had or getting the new one like I have. When it does respond to iTunes it tells me that I have to restore my phone. I click restore and it says "Extracting Software". It gets all the way to the end and then says that there is an error; something about a disk being full?

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.

On screen was shown available space somewhat less than 120 GB, but maybe somewhere between 10 and 20 GB more in the library. I had to get the iPod updated anyway, so I did proceed. However, afterwards the total content of the library was only about 110 GB. Now I wonder what did actually happen. Was the first sign only corrected for double copies of the same files or lost files or where files deleted from iTunes? And if files where deleted from iTunes, were they also deleted from my computer?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one. Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

How did you rebuild?
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

My MacBook slowed down to unusable speeds (15-20mins for a password) and then 1 week later it was fine... What happened?

So two weeks ago, my MacBook Pro just slowed right down, I was on the internet and all of a sudden it took 30 minutes to close a tab (I thought the page may have been the problem) and it was still slow so I thought I'd give it a rest and close it for the night. The next morning it took 15-20 minutes to just type my password to start my computer which sucked because my screen saver goes off after 15 minutes so it kept restarting itself and I would have to type in my password again. I finally logged on and quit all the programs I could and tried to restart it. Same problem and everything took at least 30 minutes to do. A few days later I tried again and it was the same story. I left it powered off for a week and started preparing myself to get a new laptop when I opened it up today, ready to transfer as much as I can to my external hard drive and it worked . It took no time to type in my password and everything loaded like normal... Youtube and movies worked fine. Now I'm thrilled that it is all working again but I would like to know what happened, was it dangerous and do I have to transfer everything and prepare to say goodbye to my computer because this was a warning of it's immenant death? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's not possible to know what happened, but it is possible for you to start backing up your machine, I would suggest starting now.
