HELP! MY ITUNES INTERNET RADIO STREAMS DELETED!

I just opened my iTunes internet streaming radio.
When I clicked on the Classical stream the arrow pointed downward & the number of streams was indicated.
BUT THERE ARE NO STREAMS! To the best of my knowledge I have not done anything to effect this.
Pls. advise.  Many thanks.
Jonno

  • Is it possible to create a link that I can place on a website to an internet radio stream on iTunes?

Is it possible to create a link that I can place on a website to an internet radio stream on iTunes?

Yes, but it WON'T play through the browser. It'll require any visitor who clicks it to have iTunes installed, and it'll open iTunes as soon as they do.

  • ITunes 11.1.4 for mac not playing Internet radio streams

I updated the iTunes app a couple of days ago and in exploring international internet radio streams, I noticed that none of them work.
Anyone else having the same issue with the latest iTunes update?

    sberman,
Thanks for the link. I've seen that page before and tried everything on it, but I'm still having the problem. From what I read in other threads, so are many other people.

  • Can I listen to iTunes Jazz Radio (Stream) in another room with Express?

    Hi.
I am using an 802.11 a/b/g/n Extream. I listen to iTunes Jazz Radio (Stream) on my Mac Pro. Can I listen to it with the help of an Airport Express pluged into a stereo in another room? Please help.
    Thank you.
    W.W.

Can I listen to it with the help of an Airport Express pluged into a stereo in another room?
Yes, you can use an AirPort Express Base Station (AX) for streaming iTunes audio sources. The AX would just need to be configured as a wireless client by joining the wireless network created by the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn).

    Copied from your initial post:
" I was looking for a way of downloading .m3u files and putting them on my iPhone"
    Hence my reply.
Look in the app store for a streaming app, there are many.

  • I just installed iOS 7.1 - where is the iTunes Internet radio app?

I just installed iOS 7.1 - where is the iTunes Internet radio app?

There is no separate app. It's included in the 'Music' app if Radio is available in your country (only US and Australia at this moment).
If it is available in your country then open the Music app and select the Radio tab as described on the Apple website. If it is available in your country but don't seem Radio in the Music app then do this.

  • Recording internet radio streams...

Does anyone know of an effective means of recording internet radio streams as .mp3 or .ogg files? I did a LITTLE bit of searching and only found stuff for windows.

If I remember well, I managed to record video brodcasts from the Internet using mplayer. It is full of options and it might be a place to start. The thing is that the video I've recorded was of fixed length and I believe you want to capture live radio.

  • Adding Streams to ITunes Internet Radio List

Is it a possibility for me to request a radio station to add to the Internet Radio list of streams? If so, how would I go about this? There are a few radio stations that I really want to listen to, and I can't seem to find them in the Internet Radio list. I tried opening the URL of a radio station, but somehow, it automatically starts playing a song from my music library. What do I do next?

There are two problems with this specific example:
    1) That URL does not point to the stream, it's pointing to a web page (the .php tag is a clear giveaway) so you cannot use such a URL directly in iTunes.
    2) the example stream is in Windows Media format and so cannot be played in iTunes.
I cannot say what other streams on that site might work, but I also tried their rock stream and confirmed that it does not work in iTunes either. QuickTime Player will handle these streams with the Flip4Mac plugin. Use the following URL for the example stream:
    mms://arrowfmjazz.atinet.nl/arrowfmjazz

  • Displaying Album Artwork for Internet Radio Streams?

I see that my favorite internet radio station www.radioparadise.com is now sending data which can be seen in the window inside itunes that displays songs etc.
    the URL is:
http://www.radioparadise.com/graphics/covers/m/XXXX.jpg where the XXXX is the file name for the specific song being streamed.
Is there a way to use this data inside itunes to may the artwork display?
    thanks.
    dave G

    Well, thank you!
How it worked for me: I added a matching album and artist tags to some random track in the library and my stream. Then I added an artwork (the one I need for the stream) to both files while "editing info for multiple files". It was added to both files. Then I returned the random track to its old tags. Suddenly the stream's artwork disappeared. Last step - I renamed the stream to its original name deleting its artist and album tags (since it is a radio station stream, these tags were empty initially). Artwork reappeared. I can see it in list, grid and Cover Flow views.
Hey, this might actually qualify for macosxhints website!

  • Is there a way to access internet radio streams using "Remote"?

    Hi all,
I just installed Apple Remote from the apps store and really enjoy it! The only thing that is missing is that I can't find the list of internet radio stations as listed on iTunes.
I really enjoy listening to a few streams so if anyone knows where this is in the app (if it exists), please let me know! Otherwise, a great app especially with Airport Express!
    Thanks, Dan

The Remote app accesses the iTunes Library contents - since streams are not really "in" your library (they're links, really), it makes sense that you cannot access them.
But, you can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

  • ITunes Classical Radio stream

The Classical Radio stream in iTunes is stuck on "refreshing" for, like, hours, on both my iMac and my MacBook. Tried quitting and reloading the application, restarted both computers. Didn't help. Any ideas?

Works in an instant on my iTunes 7.5
There were a lot of issues about this about two weeks ago but then it died down.  It happened to some people part of the time, some people for all the time, not at all to others. Some genres for some, others for others, etc. Different versions of iTunes and systems. There's some things that seemed to help some people, though I suspect it was just coincidental or it solved a similar but unrelated issue.
It's not clear what the issue is, or where it lies.  If it's something to do with Apple's servers they are not likely to discuss it.  There was an issue like this a few months ago with the weather widgets and people kept on posting with no news until one day it suddenly started working, again with no news.  If you wish to, you can report to Apple.

There are other applications that let you listed to online radio if you are desperate.  Check www.pure-mac.com

  • Personalize list of internet radio streams

when listening/streaming radio in earlier versions of iTunes, I could drag a favorite stream to the left-hand column of the screen and this would allow me to find that stream again next time I wanted to listen.  In many ways, this was a bookmark to a stream.
Every once and awhile, I can get such a list to flash on the screen, but it never stays long enough nor can I figure out how to make it show up again.
    thanks !!

Click the 3 dots in the tool bar, then enable Internet Radio from the list. Now click the icon of the radio mast. This is Internet Radio, as opposed to iTunes Radio, and should be the familiar feature that you're looking for.

  • Internet Radio Streams

Is the list of Internet Radio Stations in iTunes (Mac version) available on the iPad? There's a big listing of hundreds of music streams in iTunes on the Mac, but I cannot find it on the iPad. The only thing I see is Apple's iTunes Radio. If it is available, where is it? Thanks.

No, there is no broadcast radio stream in the Music app or itunes for iOs. you will need to look into something iHeart Radio or TuneIn

  • ITunes internet Radio -  BBC Radio 5 and BBC Radio 4 have disappeared

I updated to Maverick last night and have discovered with the various updates to iTunes and so forth that BBC Radio 5 (and 4) have disappeared from the internet radio News/Talk radio option.  This may seem like a small thing and other options are available, but does anyone know why??
With this, Java and my iphone iOS7 constantly booting apps, some days it feels like the windows system I last used 15 years ago....a bit buggy!
Anyhoo, any advice gratefully received.  NB I understand that this is not iTunes Radio!!!  I'm talking about the internet stations.
    Cheers

    Hi SS_MedPhoto
I have only just got round to looking at this, so apologies.  I have no idea how you edit the stream, though as I was looking through I noticed that Radio 4 & 5 have reappeared.
Apologies for not coming back sooner.
Would be interested to know how to add/edit stations though.
