HELP - My iTunes Playlist shows 10 not 11 Podcasts

I have created a wordpress blog with my late father's sermons from 20 years ago. All MP3 files. And I have created a feedburner that feeds the blog items to iTunes.
There are 11 messages on the blog. But only 10 show-up on iTunes. The OLDEST podcast does not not appear. Though ALL 11 messages are on my iMac iTunes home computer playlist.
Does iTunes only show the most recent 10 podcasts?
Am I doing something wrong?

I can only check this in iTunes '11 on my Mac:
When you select one of your Podcasts in list view, you should see a "Settings" button in the footer of the iTunes window. Press it to reveal the "Settings" window.

ITunes only shows my last 10 podcasts

I've been submitting Podcasts to my Cabaret Secrets feed for about a year now but iTunes only shows my last 10 Podcasts. The others don't seem to be there anymore. Any ideas?

iTunes does not limit the number of episodes shown until you get to 300. If you examine the feed you will probably find that there are only the ten episodes in it. Many podcast creation programs and services limit the number of episodes show in the feed, moving older ones to an archive page and out of the feed once the limit is reached. There is usually a setting to increase this number.
Please always post the URLs of your iTunes Store page and feed; without them one can make only the most general comments.

Help with iTunes playlist sync

Hi,
It seems that newer versions of iTunes (9) do not sync my playlist in the right order. My playlist is a 'smart' playlist and has a ruleset designed to filter for additions to my library that have been recently added within the last couple of months. The problem is that the library order (sorted by 'Date Added' in iTunes) does not sync in said order on my iPod touch 1st or 3rd generation. I am not sure how it is syncing but it's not alphabetical either, it appears to be random as I have looked at all the metadata fields and none sort the playlist how it is showing up on the iPod. If I remember correctly, I had no issues with this with earlier versions of iTunes before 9. So far i've tried, re-installing iTunes and wiping my iPod and resyncing everything which hasn't worked. Just want my playlist to sort the same way on the iPod as it is in iTunes.
Details of the smart playlist i'm working with:
Match All = checked
Date Added - is after - ##/##/####
Genre - does not contain - Podcast
Genre - does not contain - Audiobook
Genre - does not contain - TV Shows
Kind - does not contain - Movie
Grouping - does not contain - book
Kind - does not contain - video
Time - is less than - 30:00
Limit to = unchecked
Match only unchecked items = unchecked
Live updating = checked

Smart playlists are not working correctly in iTunes 9.
Also, your playlist is kinda messed up.
Try this...
Match all;
Playlist is Music
Date added is after ##/##/####
Time - is less than - 30:00 (do you have any songs longer than 30 minutes? If not, delete this)
Live updating enabled

Genre - does not contain - Podcast
Genre - does not contain - Audiobook
Genre - does not contain - TV Shows
Use *Kind does not contain* instead of *Genre does not contain* because the Genre may not be a podcast or TV Show or Audiobook.

ITunes purchased shows do not playback just a black screen

My wife and son are leaving tomorrow to ME. We purchased ~1$12 worth of shows. They playback in iTunes application but do not playback on her iPod video 30GB and she is running 1.1.2 firmware.
You can select the video and feel the drive queueing it up but just a black screen is displayed. I have other videos I have converted myself and they work fine.
Any ideas on what causes this?

Apple programs, Help, Mail, iTunes, Safari, Quicktime will not launch.

Recently we downloaded some upgrades from Apple and now Help, Mail, iTunes, Safari and Quicktime will not launch. The icon dances on the dock, and the operating system records the program as having opened, but the program does not come up and the icon menu on the dock still displays open rather than quit. I have tried re-installing the programs to no avail.

ITunes Tv shows view not displaying all Artwork

I recently purchased 2 seasons of a show, each sold separately, each with it's own Artwork. When viewed in iTunes Tv Shows list it is only showing 1 Artwork for both seasons. I can go into the Get Info section and see the correct Artwork for each Seasons but it isn't displayed in the listing.
Is there someway to get this to show up?

I am having the same problem. It seems itunes has not programmed it to show different artwork for the same show, even if there are different seasons. I am hoping a new update soon will take care of this. The only way I know to get around it is to go into the get info for each episode for one season and add a space after the show title. Each episode then will show their own artwork, because the titles will be a little different, however, when syncing to my ipod, it shows up as the tv show listed twice, which *****.

ITunes 6.02 will not load Podcast directory

Hmmmm, latest iTunes and on both my iMac and PowerBook, I cannot get iTunes to show the PodCast directory.
Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions?

I am having this problem as well - If I click on Podcasts from the iTMS I get the usual "Accessing Music Store message plus progress bar - this goes to about 98% across the bar and then just stops.
If I select "Podcast Directory" from my subscribed podcasts list, I get the "Accessing Music Store.." but with the "hashed" progress bar and again it just sits there.
I only noticed this yesterday - I had just installed iLife '06 so don't know if this is related or not.

ITunes for Windows does not delete podcasts when told to.

I have 30 podcasts. When I try to delete a selected podcast using either the delete key or right-click menu, I then tell iTunes to "move to recycle bin". However, many times the file remains. I just found >1GB of left over podcasts that did not show up in iTunes but are in the "My Music\iTunes\podcast.." directories.
is this a known bug or am I missing something?

In order to delete the podcast, start playing another track first. Sounds like the same bug that affects TV shows. The currently selected show will not go to the recycle bin, though it will disappear from the iTunes library. It's as if iTunes tries to move the file to the RB but Windows says, "No, that file is in use."
I discovered this bug after my laptop hard drive ran out of room because none of the TiVo2Go shows I'd been watching for weeks had truly been deleted by iTunes when I asked it to. All the files remained on the hard drive.

Help! iTunes only shows music...

I have no idea what is going on...it seems to only sync my music & apps. I don't know if something's wrong w/my iTunes or what....(I know nothing about iTunes)

I think I just solved this! I, too, was having the same issue.
Try this:
In itunes V11.1.5, there is a small line of choices across the top of the interface window that begins with, "Radio • Songs • Albums, etc.
Click on "songs."
Now, go to the iTunes menu > View, and select "Show sidebar."
Bingo! There is your Library; the list we've all grown so accustomed to, including ALL of our songs (not just purchased) and playlists.
I hope this is what you were asking, and that I have explained it well, becasue I'm very excited to have just found this solution. Best of luck.

Help with itunes playlists

We're having issues with our new computer and had to send it back to Gateway. We saved all our music/videos/photos on a portable hard drive. When the computer came back we redid itunes. It took forever getting all the playlists back in order.
Now we're having the same issues and have to send it back to Gateway for the last time. If they can't fix it, they are giving us a new computer. My question to everyone here, is there a way to save not just the music, but the actual playlists for my husband, myself and kids? It took hours to remake the playlists and drag each song over to each list. I was just hoping since I have to go through this nightmare again that there may be a way to save individual playslists. I have a feeling I'm out of luck. I'm gonna need a big bottle of wine to do this all over again!

Ok, yes this works method will save your playlists, but not Smart Playlists. If you have any Smart Playlists, best thing to do is open the Edit Playlist window and take a screen shot of the rules so you can easily recreate them.
For normal playlists, all you have to do is right-click on the playlist you want to save. Change the Format pull down to XML. Then OK to save the XML file somewhere (to your external hard drive would be ideal). That's it.
When you get your computer back and put your library back on it, you can File -> Import... and pick those XML files to recreate the playlists.
This is a good way to back up you playlists anyway, so I typed all that out.
But the easiest way to preserve everything is to simply drag and drop the entire iTunes folder to your portable HD, which includes the database files found in that folder plus the iTunes Music folder (and sometimes other folders). This will save everything. So when you get the computer back, you only have to copy the entire folder back then open iTunes and everything should be there.

Please help!! I just recently got my pc laptop back from being worked on and the hard drive had to be replaced. Tonight I had to download iTunes and now all my purchased music (which in in the 1,000's) gives me a message when I try to play it,
"the song could not be used because the original file could not be found." I'm really frustrated since this music was purchased why can't I play it this is ridiculous! I've had numerous problems with iTunes before but I have to say this really is the worst. I realize these songs are still on my iPhone but I have really nice built in speakers and I like to listen to music while in my office right from my pc. Any advice would be helpful, I'm at my wits end. Please advise!!

Need help with itunes tv show and black screen

I just purchased a tv show on my macbook pro from itunes. the screen is black and it only plays video. Can you please help me with this?

Help with iTunes Playlist and iPod!

My first problem is that my Recently Added playlist disappeared and I can't figure out how to add it back to my list of playlists!
And secondly, when I plug in my iPod into the USB cord into my computer, it connects with iTunes but then a Yahoo! Music Player automatically opens with it.

No, you can easily migrate your entire library from one working compter to another.
If you fail to backup or migrate your library and find yourself with nothing but a new empty computer and a device full of content iTunes is designed to only recover the iTunes purchased content, however third party tools can help recover everything if needed.

Itunes playlist shows duplicate alphabet

My playlist on my phone shows no songs A-Z 123, however as I scroll through the alphabet it will restart at "A" and all my songs are then there in order? Why do I have 2 alphabetical lists, one showing no songs the second showing all my songs?
