HELP - My Livetype QUITS UNEXPECTEDLY upon startup of application.

Question

Hi, My i7 Imac is an Intel processor, but since upgrading to Final Cut 7, the first time I try to launch LiveType I get an error window "Livetype has unexpectedly quit." I tried repairing disk permissions and restarting, but no luck. Can anyone tell me what to do? Thanks for your consideration:

That's an old version. It might not be compatible with MaC OS X 10.6.x.
Have you tried running Software Update to get a more recent version?
LiveType no longer ships with FCS as of 2009, yours is a Power PC version so it came from either an older copy of FCS 1 or Final Cut Express 3. Can you specify which one?
