Help - My main computer doesn't create the "Creative Cloud files" folder

My Imac (OsX 10.9.4) doesn't create the folder "CCF" .
I pick time after time the "star synchronization" bottom, then start the wheel to run but nothing really happens in the end.
However, I could create the folder without problems in my laptop, same OS.
How could I solve this problem?
Thanks!

Hi,
This looks like Creative Cloud is unable to create the Creative Cloud folder is your user home folder, are you certain that this location is 100% writable? there are no permissions stopping programs writing to this location?, its unusual that your Creative Cloud folder is missing, you must have manually moved or deleted it.
Thanks
Warner

  • What is the Creative Cloud Files (archived) folder for?

I see its content mirrors the same stuff that's currently in my Creative Cloud Files folder on my Mac finder.

This effectively a back up of your Creative Cloud folder if you uninstall and re install Creative Cloud. The Creative Cloud folder is not deleted during an uninstall to preserve your data.

  • Is there an offical app from Adobe for Android that can access the Creative Cloud files?

I have found one app but it was not made by adobe and was not recomended by any reviews. Is there an official app for the Creative Cloud?

First, to answer your initial question - no there is no way to access the clipboard content outside of the apps at this time.
The idea of exporting a timelapse is very interesting, and something we have been thinking about, but there are already some decent ways to do this. Check out this video of a drawing in Line created by Brian Yap Adobe Ink and Adobe Line Illustration - YouTube
You can create this kind of video using several of the available apps that let you display your iPad screen on your computer using Airple. Some examples are Reflector http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ and AirServer http://www.airserver.com/

  • I'm trying to re-install Firefox 6.0 on my Windows 7 PC but can't because my computer won't create the right temporary files.

My computer crashed and I did a Windows 7 system restore. Everything seemed fine but afterward, Firefox would not launch -- I just got a popup box saying Firefox was already running and that I had to either shut down the program or restart my computer. I restarted my computer several times but it did not work.
I then uninstalled Firefox and tried re-installing it. I then received a popup box saying 7-zip, another program I had installed, couldn't create the temporary files needed. I uninstalled 7-zip, thinking that would solve the problem. Instead, I still get the same message, even without the program installed. I'd appreciate any advice ASAP -- I work from home and have hundreds of bookmarks and tabs that I use every day. Thanks so much!

    Do a clean (re-)install:
    * Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 4.0: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    * Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

  • Why can't my computer establish a connection to the Creative Cloud file system??

    Hi Folks,
First of all many thanks to all of you out there who published helpful tutorials or advices.
    Here's my problem:
I have installed my Creative Cloud successfully and my CC Connector logged in and looked for updates and stuff - all fine. Unfortunately after that the connector gives the status: "No Connection to Creative Cloud!"...
My internet connection is OK, no local proxy, just Kaspersky Internet Security running etc...
My aim is to give material to a customer - so what went wrong?
    Technical data:
    OS: Windows 7 ultimate
    PC: Chronos 7 (Samsung)
    connected via LAN
    Please help!

The file syincing service has been suspended until June 17.
More info in this blog post: http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/update-on-creative-cloud-connection-and-file-sync-pre view/.
You can still upload files using the web service at https://creative.adobe.com/files and share individual files with the customer.

  • If i have deleted my local files, how can i download all my files at once from the creative cloud server?

    Hi,
My creative cloud files have all been deleted on my machine, all put in the trash (not by me!) I've recovered some but I want to download everything from the creative cloud server before I sync again.  is there anyway to do this? or do I have to download every single file individually, which would take hours......
I can see all my files on the cloud server but can't figure out why it has dumped all my local files in the trash.
    Thanks!

Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?
    Thanks

  • Upload / Download to / from the Creative Cloud

I can upload and download files to / from the CC using the CC Desktop app.   I thought that woujld come with the $10/Month CC subscription.
I expected that PS CC would have CC functionality built-in so that I coujld "save" or "open" directly from the cloud.
    What am I missing?

This functionality does not exist in Photoshop CC.
What you can do is use file syncing to Save and Open files in the Creative Cloud Files folder on your computer. They are then available to view and share from the Files page of the Creative Cloud at https://creative.adobe.com/files and available for Photoshop CC (and any other program) from the Creative Cloud Files folder on your computer.
If you do not have file syncing available yet you can sign up from the Early Access page at https://creative.adobe.com/earlyaccess.

  • How do I specify the 'My Documents' folder as the sync directory for 'Creative Cloud Files'?

I know how to move the 'Creative Cloud Files' directory within preferences, but when I do this, it simply moves the 'Creative Cloud Files' directory within the 'My Documents' folder. I do not think you can set a specific folder as a 'sync' folder in the preferences. Would creating a symbolic link to the contents of 'My Documents' in 'Creative Cloud Files' directory work to enable the contents of 'My Documents' to sync with the cloud? This is for within Windows 8 BTW...

Yes, I understand this. Perhaps a suggestion then to offer this as a feature in a future update. It would be useful to be able to specify an existing documents directory. For example, I have a couple of years worth of client work (psd, html, tpl files mainly) that would be useful to be able to have synched to the cloud without having to relocate them. I have sites configured in Dreamweaver that if I moved those files to the Creative Cloud folder, I would have to reconfigure all those sites. It would just make management of the various Adobe file types easier to have this option.
    Thanks for your help anyways.

  • Adobe Ideas doesn't sync to Creative Cloud (browser)?

The files I have in Adobe Ideas on my iPad doesn't sync to Creative Cloud on my browser.
I have activated the sync function on the ipad and it says that the files are synced and I have used 1% (12mb of 2gb).
I go to creative.adobe.com and under Files it says 'The Folder Is Empty' - what can I do?
    Thank you

I hate to tell you, but I am yet one more user who cannot get Adobe Ideas files to sync to Creative Cloud.
I am using Adobe Ideas version 2.8.1 (52469) on an iPad3, using iOS 8.1. I have confirmed that I have a good wi-fi connections. I can access the web using all my other apps - Safari, Twitter, Feedly, etc.
When I try syncing files in Adobe Ideas, the Creative Cloud Files menu has "only sync when wi-fi is enabled" selected. Sync process shows "Awaiting connection." Storage level is 9% or 175MB of 2GB.
I downloaded the Creative Cloud app onto my Surface Pro tablet and checked to see if my Ideas files showed up there. I can see the files from Adobe Draw, Lines, Sketch, and other apps, but the Ideas files do not show up anywhere. I checked in both the mobile creations area and in the main files area.
I would like to migrate my Ideas files to Adobe Draw. Please let me know how I can get this done.
    I appreciate your help!

  • Will my CS6 app update to a CC app if I "Update" a CS6 app in the Creative Cloud Desktop?

    A. No. CS6 and CC apps reside independently on your computer.
Note: In the Creative Cloud Desktop apps, scroll down to the "Find New Apps" section to see new CC apps, and click Install.

  • How do I move my Muse file to the Creative Cloud folder without losing all the links to assets?

I'd like to keep my .muse files in the Creative Cloud folder so they will be accessible from anywhere, and always backed up. But I have many hundreds of links to image assets etc, and am worried that if I move the Muse file to the CC folder the links will be broken.
The links situation with Muse already seems worrying to me — my images are all arranged in folders but Muse seems unable to deal with this properly so can have trouble finding them. So if I move not only the Muse file but all the image files and folders, will Muse still be able to operate, or will I be faced with potentially having to spend many hours manually linking the image files?
Is there a recommended way of arranging assets etc when working with Muse using the Creative Cloud folder?
    Thanks

Move from the Creative Cloud to the Muse forum. They will be able to help you here with the issue of Muse finding your images.
The Creative Cloud file storage will do nothing to change any of your files, it will just store them. But you will not be able to make your Muse sight work from within the Creative Cloud.

  • Currently Own CS3 but want to upgrade to The Creative Cloud...

I currently own Adobe CS3 but want to upgrade to the Photography Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Lightroom). Do I need to uninstall CS3 from my computer before I buy the Creative Cloud?

No, you do not need to uninstall CS3 before installing CC.  You should still be able to use it (not sure if there will be any issues though).
What you might try before buying is installing CC as a 30 day trial.  That will make things clear without having to chance the investment.
