Help! my skype phone number is not working after b...

I have a skype number that i recently reactivated. The number is still not working. It gives callers to my number one ring, then a busy signal. What seems to be the problem? i paid for a year of service. Not a 'happy camper' right now!!!

Does anyone know how to complain to Skype? I paid $30 for a Skype number, which has never worked. Everytime people call me they are directed to a voice mail. And it's not because my Skype is not turned on. It is!! Just to make sure that the problem was not at the end of my callers, I did a little experiement and called my Skype number (after turning on the iphone skype app), but got the same result as others -- a voice mail recording. It is very frustrating because there is no recourse. Skype is taking us for a ride. It's a scam.

Also, you can only use it on two computers if they belong to the same person, are used only by that one person, and are not used at the same time. To install on two computers for two people needs two licenses. Adobe sell volume licenses, but do not sell an "all the computers in the office" license.

i have made a photobook in iphoto, when i needed to fill in the form, i can not enter our phone number correctly, i have tried severall ways to enter the number, but it does not work.
can somebody help me out with this?
is there a solution, or did somebody have had the same problem?

Several people have gotten around teh problem by leaving the + off and others by moving digits around - the US phone format is 10 digits all numeric aaa-ppp-nnnn - try fitting your digits into that format

My Skype Online Number is not working

Bought a skype online number in UK last week, it works fine for two days then that's it, now it is telling callers " the person you are trying to reach is not available leave a message after the tone". Is this some kind of fraud or what. I tried calling the number while I am sitting in front of the PC sign on, still no show. I am highly disappointed, because the purpose of the number has been defeated. Skype is a bloody joke. May be I should just stick with the free services.

In short, "yes it is some kind of fraud". If you paid with a credit card I suggest you file a dispute with the credit card company to get a refund, because trying to get a refund issued by Skype personnel for a service you paid for that they fail to provide is like pulling teeth. Since the only people you can actually contact are tech support folks in the Philippines who have no access to any of Skype's servers or cash flow, it's actually like trying to pull teeth from someone who doesn't even have any teeth.

It is possible to call a person/number stored in the contact list. But by inserting a new phone number into the number field and activating the green dial button, the phone number has got erased and nothing happened!-????

I phone camera is not working after the update

I have an iPhone 4S 16 GB, It worked perfectly under iOS 7.1.2. . . I upgraded the OS to iOS 8.0.2 about two weeks ago. ( Bad Move )
I noticed right off that my device was running a little slower, lagging, and worst of all my "Camera" App does not have an image At All ! ! !
The Flash options, HDR options, Timer options, will switch back and forth, but that is all that works, none of the bottom selections work at all,
and when you hit the front/back camera icon, it freezes /locks the options that did work. I have done a deep restore twice on the device,
restored as New Device, still no change at all on the behavior of the Camera operation. One thing I did find out though, it is a Glitch in the iOS
software, pertaining to the Cameras Operation, reason being, is that I can go into the preinstalled Game Center App on the iOS 8, click on Add Photo,
click on Take Photo, and there are my cameras, working perfectly, front & back. I have done a lot of research on this issue over the past two weeks,

Which in my opinion, is pretty messed up. . What is the Big Deal of reverting back to any iOS you want, Apple should support every iOS version they have, not the users fault that a New iOS does not work right on their device, slowing it down, etc...I run Windows 7 on my PC, I can revert back to any OS I want, no problem at all.. . Anyways, back to iPhone issues, The other issues I got with the upgrade is that, My device will not power back on after I power it off now, I have to do a reset to get it to booted back up and running, and when I do so, there is a white halo that appears on my screen for several hours, then it will finally dissipate (no idea what that's all about), , Also, the battery life is much shorter now, had much better battery time on iOS 7.1.2 . . . Apple Support said that my Case was the first they have heard of, which surprised me.

Is anyone having a solution for this????? don't say that to sell the phone or upgrade it to the next version? I want to use this phone as it was a last gift given by one important person in my life and can't throw it away, please give me a solution.

Phone and Internet not working after switch to Fibre

I got a text saying my switch from regular to Fibre was complete today at 4pm but it's not 11pm and my phone is not working nor my internet
Is this normal ? I understand the connection will be temporarily stopped for the Internet but the phone too ? Sorry if the answers are on the forum but I'm just a tad confused at the minute

It can officially take until midnight for the switchover to happen, so there is a chance you may still get the services tonight.
However, there is also the chance that Openreach have messed it up. Essentially, if you've still got nothing in the morning, contact Sky and report it.

HP DV9291ea Number pad not working after been in for repair

I have a HP DV 9291ea laptop. It is a 17 inch model with a numeric keypad on it. The problem is, when the numlock key is turned on the keyboard number pad get's enables. I recently had the mother board changed by HP/Tarsus. I suspect that they didnt load the correct keyboard profile. They (Tarsus) said that should bring the laptop in and they will fix it (for free). I will do that if no one can help me here, Is there an easy and permanent fix for this problem?
I can temnporarly get around it by doing the following:
making sure the numlock is off.
opening the on screen keyboard (start>programs>accessories>ease of access>on screen keyboard)
a keyboard layout will opens on the screen
I hold down the FN button down on the real keyboard and clicking the nlk button on the onscreen keyboard by using my mouse.
the problem is is i press the numlock key again I will have to go through the whole process again.
Anyone have any idea what could cause this or how to fix it permanently?

This thread's been dead for a few years, but since I had to really search to find the answer to this issue, I thought i'd share what worked for me.
In Win7, go to Start->Accessories->Ease of Access->Ease of Access Center, click "Make the mouse easier to use" and uncheck "Turn on mouse keys".
This fixed my problem on a HP G72 with integrated numeric pad.

My serial number will not work after using the trial, I purchased the software from Best Buy.

Adobe Premiere Elements 11 I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but still will not accept serial number. Please advise

Help Troubleshooting: Safari 4.0.2 not working after update

I know that this topic is being discussed on several boards, but I'm not sure what a lot of the advice means. I'm not at all good at troubleshooting on mac.
I restarted my computer yesterday, and the updater listed safari and itunes had updates. I installed both, but got an error when updating safari. Since then when I click on safari the icon bounces once and never opens. The same thing happens with Itunes and Adium. Firefox and Opera both work, but I greatly prefer safari. I've seen a lot of people report that getting rid of plugins works, but I'm not exactly clear on where to find them, because what I've tried doesn't seem to work.
Here's what I've done so far.
Username/library/internet plug-ins ... emptied this folder. No change.
Username/library/itunes/itunes plug-ins ...emptied this folder. No change.
Macintosh HD/library/internet plug-ins ...sill no change.
I'm really afraid to delete any of these things, so when I say emptied the folder, I just moved everything to the desktop. I'm not sure if that's right. Also, I didn't restart the computer after moving the files. could that be it?
I'm not sure what kind of information is most helpful in finding my problem. if there's anything else you need to know, let me know what and I'll get it.

Hm... still no luck.
I restarted the computer as well but it didn't seem to make a difference. Adium and itunes are also still not launching, even after I set the default browser to firefox.
On my desktop is the Safari4.0.2Tiger.dmg
