Help. Need info that I can't find on website anywhere else!
OK for me and my fiance to get on our own plan with Verizon (I already have a Verizon phone) on a family plan what we will need is 250 minutes at most, we don't talk on the phone much. Unlimited text and I have an android and he is going to get an android phone so we have to have the data plans for them. But I can't find or build a plan for us. I can't find a price for family unlimited txt. I just need help with prices, like a price break down of how much unlimited data, unlimited text, and the minimal amount of minutes we could have so that I would have an idea of what it would cost us. I don't want to switch phone services I love Verizon and he likes Verizon to but we have to decide what is best for us and I can't find what I need on here. Hopefully someone can help me. Great response from DbG2514! I just need to add something to this, now that the new data prices are in place. Cowgirlcupples, if you are planning to assume liability on one and and then add a new line for a total of two on a new account, both lines will choose from new data pricing.

Can't find iPhoto pictures anywhere else on computer
Whenever I upload pictures from my camera to iPhoto I can't find them anywhere else but iPhoto.
Example: When I am blogging or trying to upload pictures on the internet they won't show up in the iPhoto file for sometimes a few days, but now it's been over a week and they are still not there. If I really need the pictures I have to drag them onto my desktop and then upload them from there. If anyone knows how to fix this or some tips I'd really appreciate it. We've only had a Mac for a few months so things are still fairly new.I assume you are copying an image found on a web page and you want to store it in iPhoto. If so then I suggest that copying the image to desktop and then dragging it into iPhoto is the best way to handle it. You will then know instantly if you have the image or not.
What is the format (file extension) of your image? iPhoto recognises many graphic formats and you may just be unlucky with the format of the picture you are copying. -
HT4796 Help needed with Migration Assistant, can't find files?
I've just purchased my first Mac (macbook Pro 15in) so please be kind, I'm so clueless it's ridiculous! Using migration assistant I've transfered aprox 100GB of files from my PC which seemed to take about 2seconds, but have no idea where they are or how to access them. The files were mostly music but when I opened itunes there is nothing in my library. The rest of the stuff was pics, docs, email accounts but none of that seems to be there either.. From the few articles I've read I seem to have somehow created another user account which is labeled Guest User/Sharing only, but I can't seem to log in as that user to find the files.. What have I done?! HELP!!

It sounds as though Migration Assistant did not do a thing. With Migration Assistant, 100 GB will take time, no matter how the two computers communicate it will be at least an hour. Probably more. I recommend you connect them both to a wired network and make sure the PC is really using it. Wireless will take a lot longer.
I suggest you read the following step by step. On your Windows PC, you will need to download Migration Assistant. That link and everything else you need to know is in this document: OS X Lion: About Windows Migration Assistant. Follow its instructions to the letter.
The "guest" user is a feature of OS X and will not contain your files. Don't concern yourself with it. -
I need help super bad! I can't find the solution anywhere!
I have a 3rd generation iPod with the scroll wheel and four buttons on top. Ok, so my iPod had a bad battery so I opened it up and changed out the battery. After connecting it to the computer, iTunes said there was a new update so I clicked ok. Then the last part of the update said for me to connect the iPod to an external source and it showed the firewire head and an arrow (not the AC adapter and wall plug icon on Apple site). But I didn't have an AC Adapter. So I went out to buy one four days later. So My iPod was idle for four days. After plugging the iPod into the AC Adapter, the stupid icon is still there. And I can't seem to get it to go away. Can you please help me?

I hook my iPod up to a computer every single day in my photo class(which Im in right now)
Im wondering if my ipod charge cycle will run out. I dont want to limit my iPod battery life by hooking it up to a computer to much. I know their are only a certain amount of charge cycles...Am i using one every single time i hook my ipod up to a computer even though my iPod is nearly full battery power?

Adobe Reader for iOS doesn't set the default email address when you email a PDF.

adobe pdf resource files... need help!!!I get a similar error, but only under the following conditions: I must be printing to the Adobe PDF printer and printing multiple pages, one at a time, and then it only happens on the second and subsequent print attempts. That is to say, the first page prints just fine and this just started yesterday afternoon. The specific file referenced in the error does not exist, but why would it work the first time and not the second? Since it only started yesterday, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling this morning, but it made no difference. I don't see anything under print properties like job-options and it is a single user, unshared printer. Thoughts? I understand the same thing is happening in at least one other of our locations, but no one there has looked into it yet. This is a BIG problem for me, however, and I need to find an answer quickly.

I have an account but it's not accepting my pass word so I had to re-register. That's not my problem though. I don't have a real problem I love Fire Fox but my system crashed and I'm starting all over again. There is an add-on that let's you stop over a word on any page and it will give you the option of looking up more info on that subject ( I think from Wikipedia, but not sure?). It will give you a little box like a comic strip person talking and then you can go to the box. You can then click on the box to get more info. I can't find this anywhere, can anyone help? Thank you.

i've tried multiply times to update itunes 10.5 but it keeps saying that it can't find the file and i can't reinstall itunes because it will delete the 100 gigabites of info on it what can i do
I've had all kinds of trouble keeping my iTunes software current over the past year, but have found the easiest way to remedy the issue is to simply download the latest version of iTunes as though I am a first-time user and then just install it into the directory my current version of iTunes is using. Doing this has allowed me to update my software without losing any of my media/data. Hope this helps! Best of luck!!!

A lot of my music is on an external Hard Drive, currently "H" drive. When I try to play a song in the Library in Itunes I get the message that it can't find the music. Info says it's in a different location "G" Drive. But it's not. it's in "H" Drive. How do I tell it where to go?
What if you take this same topic of an external hard drive with music but instead of directly attached to the computer the music is on a Network Attached hard drive(NAS)? Will I be able to add music to my ipod without any problem? Step that up a notch, will the two computers on my network be able to recognize the music on the NAS? Will the two users be able to create their own playlists and update their ipods independently? Now step up that up one more notch, will I be able to do this with one PC running XP and my macbook with OS X?
Before I run out and buy a NAS I want to be certain. I also would like to convert my DVD library in the future and put it on the network available to an AppleTV or other UpNp media player in the future, because I love having power at my finger tips. -

How do I stop mavericks from looking for an old server and nagging me that it can't find it?
MacBook Air running OS X 10.9.4
Had it set up to connect to my main iMac for shared files. Wife complained that when my iMac wasn't on the MacBook constantly nagged her with a message saying it couldn't connect to the server (my iMac).
Removed sharing on my iMac. Removed recent server list from the MacBook Air. Removed my iMac from the finder side bar in the MacBook. Now the MacBook Air constantly naggs us that it can't find the server (name of my iMac). I just want the @#$@# thing to shut up, quit looking for the iMac and be quiet.
Need help as I can't figure this one out.
PLEASE!!There are many possible causes for this issue, and it may be hard to resolve. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
If you get the alert in the login screen before you log in, stop here and ask for instructions.
Step 1
If you get the alert as soon as you log in, it's probably caused by one of your login items or by software that otherwise loads at startup or login. Ask if you need help identifying it. A known offender is "AdobeResourceSynchronizer," which is a component of some Adobe products. See also this discussion.
Step 2
If there's an icon representing the server in the sidebar of a Finder window, hold down the command key and drag it out.
Step 3
In the Finder, press the key combination command-K or select
Go ▹ Go to Server...
from the menu bar. In the upper right corner of the window that opens is a Recent Servers popup menu represented by a clock icon. From that menu, select
Clear Recent Servers…
and confirm. Test.
Step 4
Open the Printers & Scanners pane in System Preferences and delete any network devices you no longer use.
Step 5
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing command-C:

In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. A folder may open. If it does, move the contents to the Desktop, or to a new folder on the Desktop. Log out and log back in. Test. If there's no change, put the items you moved back where they were and continue.
Step 6
Open the folder
~/Library/Preferences
as in Step 5 and move the file named "loginwindow.plist" items in that folder to the Trash, if it exists (it may not.)
Log out and back in again, and test.
Step 7
Other possible causes are references in the iPhoto, iTunes, or iMovie library pointing to the server, and bookmarks in the Preview application.
Try rebuilding the iPhoto library.
Step 8
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to start up. Start up in safe mode. Test. After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Step 9
Triple-click the line below to select it:
/System/Library/CoreServices/Directory Utility.app
Rght-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* The application Directory Utility will open.
In the Directory Utility window, select the Directory Editor tool in the toolbar. Select Mounts from the Viewing menu in the toolbar, and/Local/Default from the node menu, if not already selected. On the right is a list of names and values. By default, the list is empty. If it's not empty, post a screenshot of the window and stop here.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). Open a TextEdit window and paste into it (command-V). Select the line you just pasted and continue as above.
Step 10
Open the following file as you did in the last step:
/etc/auto_master
It will open in a TextEdit window. The contents should be exactly this:

My whole catalogue was nearly lost due to a failed external hard drive. Professional help recovered photos but I can't find my smart tags. Is it possible they were lost on failed drive?

In order to recover the tags/albums, etc, you need to have the catalog db. Since currently you only have images, the organization done in the older catalog is probably lost.
Which version of PSE you have and is there any chance, that you have access to catalog location (default is : %programdata%\adobe\elements organizer\catalogs on Windows and ~/library/app support/adobe/organizer/catalogs on MAC) ?
