Hello All, I just bought a TouchSmart IQ804 that was missing its accessories... Can someone Please get the HP part number off of their AC adapter for me so I can order one (so I can turn this thing on) ... Thank You

I finally got the part from HP; the problem is that they expect a return, defective part when you order this (under warranty) so the part is restricted from sale on the retail side... as they explained to me!
The part numbers they used to order the parts ("brick" and a separate cord) are as follows:
Note: the "cord" is a typical PC power cord; if you have a spare one dont spend bother spending the extra $23.( I found three of them in my old parts box after i paid for one from HP...go figure)

Install problems - help needed desperately for new Java user
I have been trying to install Java SE Development Kit 6 - Version 1.6.0_13. Initially I could not get the javac process to work no matter what I tried. After uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times I now have it so that my javac will rewrite my file from a .java to a .class file. Now when I try to execute my Hello.class file I am getting an error message....

Help! I'm in China and need parts for my macbook
I am not sure where to turn. I am in China, and really need a mini DV to VGA adapter for my macbook so I can use the projector in my classroom. There is an apple china website but it is only in Chinese, and I really would love a phone number or some contact info so that I can communicate with an apple rep in English here, order the part, and get it delivered to me. I've tried to call the number displayed on the apple China site, but cannot get through (maybe it's non-existent?) Is there anyone that can offer some info or point me in the right direction? please???

Menu Button not working at all..Please help needed urgently for deadline.
I have used all the suggestions I can find in the forum. Nothing is working.
I am trying to draw button rectangle on a still background for a menu. Draging the pointer doesn't do anything. I have tried to import a tutorial with menu and buttons within it. When loading the project assets the import stops at "Loading menu" and does not proceed.
I am using suitcase fusion for a font manager.I have reinstalled the DSP a few times without any success.
I have spent three nights trying to solvge the problem and I am running out of time for the project delivery help is need urgentlyYour key is the "suitcase fusion for a font manager" line.
There is a bug where you won't be able to create a button if you have a bad font, or a duplicate font, installed.
First try shutting off all of the fonts you have open with Suitcase, and see if that helps. If so, open one suitcase at a time until you figure out which font is the culprit.
If shutting off all but the basic System fonts does not help, you might have to reinstall your system, or somehow update your core System fonts. I don't know how to do that, but there was a recent article at http://www.tidbits.com/ that discussed fonts and their maintenance. But ultimately it's a font problem. -

Thanks so much!I have experienced the same issue. We have a USB power adaptor and a cable that we routinely use to charge our iPhones in the kitchen. While my iPhone4 keeps showing that error message, my wife's iPhone4S and all the kids iPods are charging just fine. Not a chance for a faulty power adaptor or cable.....
It also started very recently. My iPhone can be charged with my computer, my car's charger so my dock connector has to be OK. It's as if the hardware signature of the USB power adaptor is no longer recognized. Also coincides with recent software update.... -

Hi! I need steps for HTTP Receiver adapter
My scenario is like this:
HTTP(HTTP Sender adapter)->XI->File(File adapter).
For this Iam sending the data as payload in the body of HTTP. Now What am i going to do is the opposite of above scenario:
File(FileAdapter)->XI->(HTTP Receiver Adapter)HTTP.
I would like to know what are the steps to transfer a file(xml) from File adapter to XI and from there to Http.
How to send the data using File adapter. Please suggest me some steps.

For a HHTP -> XI -> FILE Scenario:
DESIGN:
1. Create DataTypes for source and Destinations. Create elements for all the text fields of your HTTP Client so that they can all be mapped into the destination file
2. Create MessageTypes for the two datatypes.
3. Create Message Interfaces. The One for HTTP is the sender, Asynchronous ( as no response is expected) and one for File is receiver, asynchronous.
4. Do the mapping. It will be mostly a one to one mapping of the fields.
5. Create the Interface Mapping.
Configuration:
1. Import your Business System under your Configuration Scenario.
2. Create 2 communication channels. One for Http as a sender and one for File as a receiver.

You should also have a HTTP client to send message to XI. In the connecting parameters to XI u have to use the URL in the pattern mentioned by Alex. U have to give all the configuration details in the URL.

Need suggestion for USB Bluetooth Adapter for HP Z230 Workstation
I've just purchased an HP Z230 Workstation, with an I7 processor. I need to equip it with Bluetooth capability so that I can connect the computer to an old Palm Tungsten T2.
There are gobs of USB 4.0 Bluetooth adapters / dongles on the market, but reading buyer's comments, they all seem to have some type of problem with compatibility or installation issues on something.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a USB Bluetooth adapter that has worked well with the Z230?

Need fix for CODE PURPLE ERROR please
I see lots of discussion about the Code Purple error out here. I called tech support on my out of warranty unit and they wont tell me much but they did tell me that the file I am working with to fix this is not the one mentined amongst the posts here ( CHKCFG.BAT ).
What solutions are there for there issue that actually work ???
