HELP!!! Need service for our Deskjet 450cbi

Our mobile Deskjet 450cbi printer no longer will pick up paper consistently. We have tried the items mentioned online with no success. Since HP no longer supports this printer I can't even find out where to take it to be serviced or fixed. Does anyone know where an authorized Service Center might be in the San Diego area??? Help needed please for master socket wiring

I am renovating a house built in the 1970's which I shall be moving into shortly.
My electrician has put in telephone sockets in two of the bedrooms but when he came to the master socket he found the builders had by mistake cut the wire too short so he could not make a connection.
The master socket is in the hall low down on the wall and it looks as if the wire comes into the house underground.
I have spent hours on the telephone trying to get the right person to speak to at BT who tells me I need to contact Open Reach as it is damage and when I eventually found a number to ring them they tell me it is BT's problem.
In exasperation I telephoned the moving house line as none of the press button numbers seemed relevant.
I just want a BT person to come and have a look to see what to do but they have told me that I need to give them a date for when I move and they will come and look then. However, I need the builders to fill in the large hole in where the wire comes into the house so I can have a floor laid.
Any help would be so much appreciated

HELP: subscription services for automatic printing

Months ago, I opted to have "useful" documents automatically print to my HP Photosmart ePrint wirless printer. (These documents were subscription-based and I remember "tick-marking" the doc's I wanted to receive automatically... e.g. coloring pages for kids, recipes, coupons, etc.) NOW, I can not locate WHERE I subscribed to this service or how to STOP the AUTOMATIC PRINTING. This service is costing us hundreds of dollars monthly in reams of paper and ink cartridges. We have been inundated with page after page of "useless" print jobs and despite our recycling efforts, it has become a real problem.
Please help. (I have looked at settings to change on iCloud, ePrint, smart web printing...but have not found the magic page yet!)

Rebuilding help- need tips for Capital One Accounts

Hi- Thank you all for all the wonderful information, you make rebuilding seem so easy and attainable! I never realized all the different versions of scoring, how to do debt validation, get errors removed from my report and where to focus my attention. Just 2 months ago my scores ranged between 556-580, today they range from 600-611 so little improvement over the last couple months. Here is the situation I am in. I have 3 capital one cards, 2 of which are platinums with $500 limits and 1 is the old Orchard Bank card w/$300 limit. These cards are 6-8 years old. I also have a Fingerhut account w/a $1650 limit, totalling $2950 in credit of which $640 is in use so utilization should be about 22% (making a little more headway on this util each month). I have been 100% ontime w/Fingerhut for the last 2 years. 100% on time w/my auto loan for the last 36 months and almost always on time w/Capital one except for 3 months Sept-Nov in 2014 where I went over my balances and accrued over limit charges that brought my minimum payments up. Technically I was still on time but the $50 a month per card I was giving them wasn't enough for the min payment. I was in a tight situation at the time, they reported those 3 months as late for all 3 cards. I went years before this paying 100% on time every month but always carrying a high balance so they never increased my limits earlier even though payment history was good. Now that my utilization is down and its been 8 months since the Capital one dings, I applied for CLI's on these cards and received letters denying the increases as they said tehse late payments are too recent. I read that a lot of people have success w/CLI's after about 6 months. I've called twice to see if they would good will any of those late payments, I was shot down immediately the first time, the 2nd time I had a nice woman but she wouldn't budge either, she politely told me she went back and looked at those statements and I was indeed not meeting the minimum payments & the only thing she could do was to mail me hard copies of those statements. I really only have 1 major collection on file thats affecting my score for a little over $1000 w/a CA that I've never heard from via phone or mail yet they are accruing charges each month. It showed up in my file late in 2014 for a card that went delinquent on about 2.5 yrs ago. I haven't decided how to handle this collection just yet, PIF right now is not an option for me so before I figure out how I want to approach this I thought I'd try to make some headway w/Capital one first on my limits andutilization. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've lowered my utilization while still using the cards frequently, just paying down more and paying on time but am getting nowhere on goodwills or CLI's and persistence is not my strong suit. Do you recoomend I wait until I have a full 12 months of on time payments before I try again? I did prequal for the QS card but am afraid if I submit, I'll only get rejected for the same "recent late payments" that they rejected my CLI requests for even though they are going on 9 months old.... Does anyone have luck w/a new Cap 1 card while not having luck w/CLI's? Should I try for another card, Anybody get accepted for Barclays card w/low 600's score? I only have 4 inquiries on my file right now. 1 is old, should drop off next month, the other 3 were recent apps for a rental property, no inquiries from credit cards in 2 yrs. Keep trying every month - use the online link for it, don't call them. Don't worry about CLI denials, they won't be held against you in any way. JUst keep plugging away and check the denial reasons. Thanks in advance for any advice!!! Right now you would only qualify for the "average credit" level Cap One cards, and they are an auto-deny for having two or more cap one accounts already. (its stated in the disclosures), so do not app for any more Cap One cards until scores are in the high 600's - then app for the "excellent credit" cards. Since you have a long history with the cards, you might try Barclays (I was approved for Barclays with 618 TU score), but wait until your last 30 day late is over 12 months old.You're actually doing fine, just need to move out a bit from those lates that occurred last year. You might also call and get them converted to QS/QS1 reward cards.

Menu Button not working at all..Please help needed urgently for deadline.

I have used all the suggestions I can find in the forum. Nothing is working.
I am trying to draw button rectangle on a still background for a menu. Draging the pointer doesn't do anything. I have tried to import a tutorial with menu and buttons within it. When loading the project assets the import stops at "Loading menu" and does not proceed.
I am using suitcase fusion for a font manager.I have reinstalled the DSP a few times without any success.

Your key is the "suitcase fusion for a font manager" line.
There is a bug where you won't be able to create a button if you have a bad font, or a duplicate font, installed.
First try shutting off all of the fonts you have open with Suitcase, and see if that helps. If so, open one suitcase at a time until you figure out which font is the culprit.
If shutting off all but the basic System fonts does not help, you might have to reinstall your system, or somehow update your core System fonts. I don't know how to do that, but there was a recent article at http://www.tidbits.com/ that discussed fonts and their maintenance. But ultimately it's a font problem.

Help - Need download for 6.0.4 for Windows XP

My 6.0.5 upgrade is not working properly and I need to go back to 6.0.4. My 30G video iPod lost over 1000 songs and many of the ones left stop playing prematurely. Everything was working fine until I upgraded. Where can I find the upgrade. Apple does have a site for the 6.0.4, but when you click to download, it automatically sends you to 6.0.5. Anyone else having this problem?? Thanks for any help. I just want to listen to my songs, podcasts, video, etc! I even sent my iPod in to Apple repair, and they returned it with a note saying that nothing was wrong with it. I guess they didn't try to listen to any music on it.

I have experienced the same issue. We have a USB power adaptor and a cable that we routinely use to charge our iPhones in the kitchen. While my iPhone4 keeps showing that error message, my wife's iPhone4S and all the kids iPods are charging just fine. Not a chance for a faulty power adaptor or cable.....
It also started very recently. My iPhone can be charged with my computer, my car's charger so my dock connector has to be OK. It's as if the hardware signature of the USB power adaptor is no longer recognized. Also coincides with recent software update....

Need driver for hp Deskjet 3050A J611 series on a pre-Intel Imac

Looking for a printer driver for a HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series printer for use on a Pre Intel IMac

Newer drivers for older hardware runs into trouble. Had that problem with HP
over several systems and models of Mac. Sometimes if the printer and OS X
isn't too obsolete, drivers could be tried in one printer intended for a similar one.
The original installer CD for printer software drivers and extras is always a good
thing to keep, so long as there is a printer or a computer on-hand that may use it.

Recent upgrade with newer computer & OS X, has me looking at printer drivers
and a suggested download from Epson of 1.3GB was not really adequate nor
was it necessary; but some 'expert' at Geek guys showed me a web site on his
Smart phone. The real problem was a USB cable to an AIO printer. The other
older printer could not use the 'correct driver' for the newer OS X, in same D/L.
Planned obsolescence is such a joy. Even when a product is almost bulletproof,
someone wants to sell something else. 'Profit-driven' tends to waste resources.
Cheap hardware & costly consumables. Wait til they charge us for good Air...!

Install problems - help needed desperately for new Java user

I have been trying to install Java SE Development Kit 6 - Version 1.6.0_13. Initially I could not get the javac process to work no matter what I tried. After uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times I now have it so that my javac will rewrite my file from a .java to a .class file. Now when I try to execute my Hello.class file I am getting an error message....
Error occurred during initialization of VM
java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object
Can anyone please help me fix this? I was really anxious to learn programming but all of these setbacks are really frustrating. I have basic books to help when I am up and running but nothing helps you with problems with installations.

i recently recoded some fottage on my mobile phone and the resulting file is a mp4
now when i put the mp4 into adobe it only recognises it as a audio file
i want to be able to use the file in adobe for editing and the like
so how do i get adobe to play it properlly
now if i have to convert it then can someone tell me in laymans terms how to go about doing it with mediacoder please
or an easy way around this problem
