HELP - Need to be able to RESET ALL CALENDARS to "FLOATING" - How To ???

These two quotes are from the Apple Forums - they never received an Answer - my problem is IDENTICAL to these gentlemen:

I'm just a guy who recently migrated from Palm Desktop and who doesn't like to be in Madrid, for example, only to see his Chicago appointments listed seven hours ahead. I've been managing time zones in my head my whole life and don't really need or want iCal to "help" me out with it.
That said, does anyone know of a script available or other method that will allow one to change all events in iCal to "floating"? I would prefer to not have to do this one event at a time.

Turning off Time Zones does not even remotely address the problem. All that does is solve the issue of not continuing to repeat the problem in the future. But at this moment I have literally HUNDREDS (perhaps thousands) of past event entries that need to be accessed for legal reasons, and the date / time is Critically Important..... and all the dates and times are fubar due to this time zone issue. Only resetting the events (PAST) to "Floating" resolves the problem, but how to do this with hundreds (1000's) of Past Events Entries?
i.e. How to Globally RESET all events to "Floating"?

I understand what you've done now. You used the "Set Layer Visibility" command which sets the on/off state of all the layers at once. What you need is a more subtle approach, one that will only change the state of the specific layer associated with the button, not the rest of them (so that you could have multiple layers enabled at the same time). The way to do that is by using a script.
I wrote the script for you and applied it to the top-left counties (WILLIAMS and FULTON), in the attached file. You can now copy the actions I associated with those buttons to the rest of them, and it should work as you want it to.

Clearing history resets all my tabs! how to stop? help

I downloaded yosemite but whenever I'm in safari and clear my history all my info for Facebook, twitter, insta, youtube etc : usernames and passwords reset and i have to re-sign in, compared to before where i was always signed in! even when i press stay signed in, as soon as i delete my history it resets all my tabs! help, please

iTunes Store on the Computer you sync with and click on your iTunes/Apple ID.
Go down to the "Purchase History" section, and click on "See All".
Click on the little arrorw directly in front of the item you want the receipt for and you will see something similar to the following:

Numbers should be able to open your Excel document. It will convert on the fly as it is opened. Once open, it's no longer an Excel doc. It can be exported back to Excel, but none of the features unique to Numbers will be preserved, and the results are sometimes a surprise in terms of layout.

HELP!!!! IPOD Reset all songs gone, cant download existing from ITunes

Please please please help.
I picked up my Ipod the other day and i somehow put everything into Chinese.
I couldnt get back to English so I reset the whole thing from the option on the ipod screen.
I now have no songs on the Ipod!!
No problem I thought , I will just re download all the songs from ITunes again, but when I connect to the laptop and go into itunes nothing happens ( ipod just says do not disconnect ) but the little download icon on itunes never appears. I have left it for an hour and nothing happening
I am going on 3 weeks holiday in a few days and need my pod

Sorry to bother you , I downloaded the upgrader 2006-06-28 but the options to update or restore are greyed out and I cant click on them. I am also getting an error message WINDOWS - DELAYED WRITE FAILED.WWindows was unable to save all the data for the file E:,The data has been lost.This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection.Please try to save this file elsewhere.An Autoplay box also appears but nothing else.
The Ipod is still saying do not disconnect and also itermitently asking which language I want.
Have I killed it??

I change the authentication from application express to database and back.
So I put application express again current and now I'm not able to login anymore in my app.
I even don't get my login page. if i start the browser and want to go to the app
it always redirect directly to my home page?????
Please help, what happened? App express authentication is back my current but nothing works anymore.
I can see in the design pages from the app but when I push the run button it just refreshes the current desing page and does not run anything.

Already solved it myself. A wrong column referenced in the sql code from the scheme authorization caused the error.
I couldn't get my hand on it in IE but when I tied to start the page in Firefox. I got even the right message stating which column was wrong in which scheme.
Again another reason to get rid of that grrrr win IE. It's such a pain in the .....

Need to be able to sort all columns in AP Invoice Workbench

I found that only the 1st three columns can be sorted in the invoice workbench. Alternatively, dragging any other columns to these positions can also be done. I need to know if there is a way to enable sort in all the columns. Any document stating defaults and options would be appreciated.

Problem with printing - Please help, need to be able to print!!

I am having a bit of a nightmare trying to get printing to work in OS X Tiger and would really appreciate some feedback.
I need to connect 2 network printers. Have managed to install one of them with a driver on the Xerox website but when I go to print a page from Firefox I get the following appear on the first page (followed by several blank pages):

I also get the same problem using a generic driver on either of the printers. If someone can tell me where I am going wrong I would really appreciate it!!

Postscript is the page description language that OS X printing is based on. A postscript printer is one that has a postscript interpreter built-in. Non-postscript printers use some other page description language, such as HP's PCL language.
The Workcentre uses PCL (postscript is a paid option). So does the PSC. You'll need a PCL "CUPS" driver. I'd install hpijs (a 3 part install) from:
http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/MacOSX/hpijs
For the PSC, I'd try the PSC 2175 driver,
for the Workcentre, try the HP Color LJ 5000 driver.

Urgent Help Needed! N85 Does Not Display All SIM C...

Just updated my N85 (RM-334) to softwaer version 30.019 and installed some apps (such as Opera Mobile 10beta2, skyfire, youtube) and used my SIM card on other phones for 4 days. When I switched back to N85, I found only 98 SIM card contacts were displayed. But actually it has 248 contacts in SIM card.
I took out the SIM card and tried it on other phones like NOKIA 5300, blackberry, and all 248 contacts can be displayed on those phones. I tried adjusting contacts setting but nothing changed. Could anybody give a suggestion or hint how can I get back those contacts?

My brother accidently reset all the system certificates how to restore them?

my macbook pro has all the system certificates reset and i am not able to find any of the system certificates on my keychain. i tried to repair it through keychain and it told me to reinstall the software what should i do ? is there another way out of it.

If you have a backup of your phone that predates the loss of your photos, you would need to restore your phone using the backup, you cannot selectively restore content from a backup.

Help Needed w/Desktop Manager 4.6 & Outlook Calendar Synch

Everything was working just fine prior to my holiday break. Came back this morning and attempted to synch my BBCurve (running 4.5.0.81) with my Desktop Manager (v4.6) and it is just skipping over the calendar sync portion. No error message. Everything else is synching just fine. Deleted and reinstalled Desktop software -- that didn't work. Disabled calendar sync and re-enabled -- that didn't work. cleared the BB Calendar of all entries and now have no calendar entries on the device. HELP!

I deleted the Intellisync folder, and reset the Desktop Manager configuration settings and I received the following Intellisync error message:
The operation terminated unexpectedly while reading from Microsoft Outlook Calendar
Then I tried to sync just from Outlook Calendar to Device -- that failed
Then I tried to sync just from Device to Outlook Calendar -- that failed as well
Then I deleted Intellisync folder again and rebooted my computer
Successfully synced from Device to Outlook
Tried to sync from Outlook to Device and it appears to be running, says one moment please and nothing happens and it returns to the Desktop Manager with no error message. Grrrrr.....

HELP...I can't reset default views...how do I set "designer view" to default that shipped with product.

Help...how do I reset "Designer View" to what shipped with product. I was using a tutorial and totally messed up the designer default view, and cannot restore it by going to workspace "Designer View" reset...it just resets it to the same corrupted view. I seem to be stuck in live mode with no buttons to come out of live mode.

While in the Designer space, have you tried choosing Windows > Workspace Layouts > Reset 'Designer' ? If that doesn't work, you may have accidentally overwritten the default Designer workspace with the one you see now. If that's the case, one (pretty drastic) alternative is to reinstall. Another less drastic approach, is to replace the Designer.xml in your user Configuration > Workspace folder with the one I've attached.
Let me know if you need help finding your user Configuration folder.

Help needed with Template Footer displacing with addition of a float..

I have a template for a web page and I am a little stuck now with an issue related to floating an image (left) to get the text to wrap around. As I do so, the footer at the bottom displaces and I cannot work out why?

Unfortunately it didn't sort out the problem. The footer has been displaced to the right and I don't see why it should, when I added a 'float' property to the picture to enable the text to wrap around.
Can someone please advise?
It seems if I change the padding px numbers it moves the images within the footer around. How do I ensure that these are fixed in place? I have created a template, which may have the problem in.
Am I missing something?

HELP! Since the upgrade to Maverick, ALL CALENDARS LOST!

They still show up in my reminders from iCloud when I turn out iCloud syncing of calendars, and they are in my reminder bar on the right side of the screen, however the calendar itself is empty in ical. There are NO calendars listed at all. It's all empty. I've tried restoring from backup pre-Maverick and nothing works. HELP this is a mess. I work for myself as a digital marketing consultant and losing all my calendar info is a huge problem. I am on a 2013 Macbook Pro running all the newest software. Ugh. HELP!!!!!!!!!

I'm having VERY similar odd problems with Reminders. Not only are some reminders duplicated, but some disappeared and I can't set any repeating reminders. ARGH!!!

HELP - Need to be able to RESET ALL CALENDARS to "FLOATING" - How To ???
