Help! Need to let Viewers upload photos -but how?

I am v new to Dreamweaver and would really appreciate a bit
of simpleton advice! I've worked through the tutorial and scoured
the internet - but maybe i'm looking in the wrong places. How easy
is it to set up a website using DW that lets users upload photos to
my website. If it is easy, are there any special things I need to
know first? If you could reply in simple terms avoiding too many
acronyms it would help!!

Well, you're a beginner wanting to do an advanced job, so
your feelings are
probably warranted (sorry to say!)
When he says you can "easily achieve" it with PHP, he's not
thinking of
someone who is just hearing about PHP for the first time! :-)
After a few
days/weeks of study, you can probably achieve it pretty
easily.
ColdFusion is generally easier to learn for most people, but
a file upload
facility will definitely still require at least basic
experience using CF
and online databases, and some time and study to write the
code (which needs
to have security measures built in, as Peggie ("Katsuey")
pointed out.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

What version of iPhoto? How are you trying?
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Help needed with header and upload onto business catalyst

Can someone help with a problem over a header please?
I have inserted a rectangle with a jpeg image in background, in the 'header' section, underneath the menu. It comes up fine on most pages when previsualised, going right to the side of the screen, but stops just before the edge on certain pages. I have double checked that I have placed it in the right place in relation to the guides on the page.
That's one problem.
The second problem is that I tried to upload onto business catalyst, which got to 60% and refused to go any further, saying it couldn't find the header picture, giving the title and then u4833-3.fr.png. The picture is in the right folder I have double checked. And it isn't a png. Does it have to be ?
And the third problem is that I got an email following my upload from business catalyst in Swedish. I am living in France.

How can I check the preview in other browsers before I publish a provisional site with BC?
The rectangle width issue happens on certain pages but not others. The Welecom page is fine when the menu is active, also the contact page, but others are slightly too narrow. Changing the menu spacing doesn’t help - I was already on uniform but tried changing to regular and back.
In design mode the rectangle is set to the edge of the browser, that’s 100%browser width right?
Re BC I have about 200 images on 24 different pages and it seems to be having difficulty uploading some of them. But it has managed a couple I named with spaces but not others I named with just one name.
Is there an issue on size of pictures ? If I need to replace is there a quick way to rename and relink or do I have to insert the photos all over again?
I’m a novice with Muse with an ambitious site !

Answering the questions :
- Have you checked the preview in Muse and also in other browsers ?
- Does the rectangle width issue happens when menu is active , or in any specific state , Try to change the menu with uniform spacing and then check.
- In design view the rectangle is set to 100% browser width ?
With publishing :
- Please try to rename the image file and then relink
- If it happens with other images as well , see if all the image names includes strange characters or spaces.
- Try again to publish
With e-mail from BC :
- Under preferences , please check the country selected.
- If you have previously created partner account in BC and selected country and language then it would follow that, please check that.

TS1538 My i phone 4 wont connect to my pc at all, i need to back up important photos but are unable to, please help!!

I have tried absolutely everything, but i am still unable to sync my phone to my laptop...
i have used several USB cables, tried uninstalling itunes and re installing it, making sure i have the apple mobile recognition program...
ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!
If someone could please help me with this issue as i have very important photos on my phone i need to back up that would be great!!!!!

What version of Windows? What version of iTunes? What happens when you plug in your cable? Have you followed the steps in this article? http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5376

Photos App Uploads Photos But Doesn't Update

Running the latest version of iOS, though I've had this problem for 3 or 4 months now. I'm using iCloud Photo Library (I'm aware it's still a "beta" feature, but this seems like a fairly prevalent issue and it's a relatively new issue). The Photos app will upload new photos I take with the camera, but it continuously says it's uploading, for instance... if it says that it has 75 photos to upload, I take an HDR picture (because I keep the originals), and it says 77 photos to upload. It will upload them, I know this because my computer downloads them. However, my phone will still say it has 77 photos to upload. My iPhone also, will not download new photos, my guess is because it still thinks it needs to upload 77 photos, and probably just iterates over all the stored photos looking for ones that aren't in iCloud, anyways... it doesn't download new ones (or old ones it doesn't have yet) and it's annoying not knowing how many are left to upload.
I had a theory, that turning iCloud Photo Library off and on again, allowing it to remove all locally stored "optimized" photos in between, would fix the problem. But I didn't want to try that without knowing that it wouldn't delete any photos that might not be uploaded already.
So, summing up...
Will turning off icloud photo library delete any photos that aren't uploaded? Should I perhaps plug it into my computer to import any that aren't already there the old fashioned way?
Any other potential solutions for fixing the problem? I imagine I can't be the only person using the iCloud Photo Library beta who takes several pictures a day (on average).

If tapping the UPDATE button takes you to the Reader's Help screen, Reader must have been automatically updated already.
To check the version number
Go to the iOS home screen.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down to find Adobe Reader in the left pane.
Select Adobe Reader.
Check the version number.
As of October 11, the latest version is 11.6.3 (100920).

Help needed in BAPI for uploading data in FB01 - Urgent!!!

    i need to post a document in FB01.
i am getting the following details from the user in a .CSV file.
Vendor no, vendor name, amount, document date, posting datem reference vendor line item text and Gl account line item text.
i am using BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST to post the document.
Now my req is if the amount is in negative then
   use posting key 31 against the vendor and 40 for GL account
if its positive amounts
use posting key of 24 against vendor and 50 against the GL account.
Now by default, when the amount is negative the function is working fine.
                but when its is positive its posting 21 against vendor and 50 against GL account. but i need 24 against vendor
can any one tel me, where should i pass these value in the BAPI?
or is there any other way of doing it?

Hi,
the posting keys 31/21 (01/11 and 40/50) are hard coded and cannot be populated from the interface. This is because a different posting key could have a different posting logic from what is implemented in the BAPI.
So unless you want to do some modifications here, you have to use the fixed PKs. Pls. let me know if you are interested in where exactly the PKs are defined (hardcoded). I have this noticed for myself earlier but my notices are on another PC

First hello to all of you And greetings from Poland
Could somebody help me or give me a guide, maybe a tutorial how to create an easy flash photo menu in AS3 or 2. Let me explain what I want to do this is my image menu done i PSD is my image menu done i PSD:
This menu should be with "clickable" URL images, in the left and right where the red circles are I want to add arrows to change to new images - a whole page with new 9 images - I wanted to ad a nice "change" effect. You are probably timing out with your web server. Check the server logs to see if there are any errors there..

Uploaded photos but ipod now won't communicate with any computer

Well I’m stumped and so are the pros that have given back my ipod and said good luck getting the data extracted. So maybe someone out in cyber space can figure this one out.
Have recently come back from a month trip in Africa and have been using my ipod (30gig Video) to upload my photos to the ipod as storage. I successfully imported 24 rolls totalling up 14gig of RAW(CR2), Jpgs and mpgs from my Canon 20D and Canon Ixus 50. I imported them using the apple camera connector and still to this day can upload with no difficulty. The problem is, when I came back home my computer won’t recognise the ipod I’ve tried 5 other macs and they too don’t initialize with the ipod. The ipod will sit there with ‘do not disconnect’ yet no communication is happening.
The repair agents that I took it to have said that it has basically lost its identity and doesn’t know whether it’s a mac or PC ipod. Strange considering it was working working with my mac the day I left and wasn’t connected to anything apart from my two cameras while away.
I’m really keen to know if this has happened to anyone else and how on earth I can get the very important data off before it is replaced by apple under warranty. The repair agents said after doing a scan disk that they could retrieve a few jpgs at a large cost which I said no to as I want the RAW files more.
I would love to hear from anyone out there that could provide any answers to my questions.

Not to rain on your parade, but the rice thing generally takes around a week to dry an iPod out. To be sure I would turn it off do not attempt to charge. Seal the iPod in a bag of rice, for a week, (yes 7 days), remember to change the rice every day or so, then turn it on and see if all works. And like Ralph Landry 1 stated you may have already damaged it, but hopes this helps, good luck.

my photo stream does not work at all. I've tried making a new album, but that does not work. So I've tried using an already existing album and deleting the pictures there. You can't restore to a backup that was taken on a device which has a higher version of iOS than on your iPad, you will have to update your iPad to 8.1.3 to be able to restore to it
You should be able to update your iPad via Settings > General > Software Update

Help needed - 7 videos in one dvd but new to video

Hi,
I'm a print designer with no knowledge of video editing/dvd creation based in the UK, and I have been tasked with compiling a training video consisting of 7 videos (supplied in different formats, sizes and frame rates).
I have built a project in Encore with a menu system and imported the videos as separate chapters which seem to be fine in preview but I when I burn the dvd some of the videos are not showing the text properly and they seem very jumpy. Do I need to encode all of the movies to the same settings, if so what setting would be best to use?
My deadline for this project is tomorrow as it was a last minute idea.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated and might save me from a nervous breakdown!

I hope you found a way to make this work, and that my response is irrelevant. But I worry about what problems you may get in taking different frame rates and trying to export them all to a common format. I don't disagree with Hunt, but we don't have enough information to anticipate how Premiere may throw you some curves.
You can have videos with some differences in Encore, as long as you don't mix things on the saem timeline. I haven't tried it, but I assume you can mix different format timelines in a playlist. You don't say what the different formats, etc, are, and that can make a lot of difference. For example, I hope you're not mixing NTSC and PAL!
Another approach to your problem was to make each video its own timeline, and do a play all through use of a playlist. Then take only the videos that have problems and work them in Premiere. The method that requires the least knowledge on your part would be to delete the problem timeline and video, edit the video in Premiere and modify as needed (size, framerate, or whatever), and export to a DV format (ignore the avi, you will probably use a quicktime/mov file). When you import as timeline to Encore, you are bringing in as a new name.
You don't say what version of Encore. Here is help for CS5 and the formats accepted by Encore for import.

If this is still not working, list the file format, pixel frame size, frame rate, par of each.

I have re-installed Photoshop Elements 10 on my new computer and imported the photos but how do I get albums and tags back?

My old computer died and I've installed my photoshop elements 10 on the new one and have imported all my photos. WHat I can't figure out is how to get my tags and albums back. I had a Norton backup of my old computer so all of the data is available. I just need help figuring out how to link it up with photoshop on the new computer. Anyone have experience with this issue?
