Help! Need to print my 100-page document onto very thin paper

You have come to my rescue SO MANY times, I need your help once again! This community has saved me SO many times:) This is not a direct InDesign question, I know, but rather pertaining to a document I created in InDesign. (So I know I shouldn't really be posting this here but at the same time I know that this community should know the answers to my questions more so than anywhere else.)
I have a 8.5cmx10cm document that is black and white, 202 pages thick (will be 101 pages once printed because it will be printed on both sides). The problem is that the total thickness of the finished product CANNOT exceed 3/16" because of the space where it needs to fit. I am having a problem finding a printer that can print on very thin stock. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where this can be printed?

I just checked my roll of tracing paper, and I don't think it's thin enough to do what you want, even ignoring the fact that you need a cover, too.
May father sometimes tells about a job he had in the army printing the word "COPY" onto sheets of onion skin paper. He had a POW assigned to grab each sheet as it left the press in order to flatten it out before it had a chance to roll into a tube the size of a soda straw.
You might find a specialty printer with a web press that can do it, but there's probably no way anyone could read the book. Paper that thin is so transparent the opposite side of the page would show through, even if the ink didn't soak through. This sounds like some sort of manual that needs to go on aircraft or something. Is there a way to reduce the page count by adjusting the type size, or finding a bigger space to fit it into?

I would like to print my Pages document on Matte Photo Paper which is in the rear feeder of my Canon Pixma MX882 printer. The print function in Pages/Yosemite does not give me that option.The only options are to print on plain paper from the cassette. When I print images from iPhoto, I have more paper options. When I try to convert the doc to a jpeg, with Graphic Converter so I can drop it in iPhoto, the result is very blurred almost unreadable.

Have you gone to Canon's website and downloaded the very latest Printer Driver for your Model?
Also have you looked amongst the paper handling options in your Print dialogue for the rear feeder option.
What is stopping you putting the high quality paper in your regular paper cassette?

How do i save a pages document onto a memory stick

Please can you help? I am trying to save a pages document onto a memory stick but when i drag the file into the memory stick it just bounces back.

If its a new document click Save As and then navigat to the memory stick. BTW how is the memory stick formatted, if it's NFS as I suspect that is a MS Windows format which means the stick has to be re-formatted. Please advise if the stick will be shared with MS Windows machines.

Help needed with print booklet in indesign

Help! When I attempt to print a 24 page booklet, indesign does not place my last page opposite my first page, and instead adds multiple blank pages to my document. I have the printer option to print blank pages on and I am using a multiple of four to compose my document. Any advice or guidance is much appreciated!

Help needed for print layout action.

Hello, I have a set of 300 or so photos I need to print at work. I work on a large lazer photographic processor capable of doing 50 inch wide prints by however long I need. I would like to set up an action to layout these photos on a page so that I dont have to copy and paste each one on a page by hand.
The photos are all the same size. Basically I want to do what contact sheet automation does however I need it to be the full size of the photos not just thumbnails. Just set a document size and have it layout the photos on it untill they are done then I can rip it and print it from my printer. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction that would be great.

I would use InDesign for this.
Make your sheet size, then load the place cursor with as many images that fit on a page.
now just place the images the way you want them.
Print.

Help Needed on Printing

Hello im a very new junior sd consultant and I have gotten my first issue ticket which I need to try and resolve. Basically, the client has an issue when they want to print the 1.Sales Return document and its 2.Delivery document. they have to keep manually choosing the printer. How can I configure the printer settings for the returns document and its delivery so that for each new sales return document the default printer is already chosen and all they have to do is press enter for example and it prints.
The current scenerio is that for example, sales return document 000000001. In va02 on the initial screen if you go to sales document, then issue output to. I get this popup when I do those steps "No output has been selected for printing". The client then has to go and assign the printer manually for each document which takes up too much time. How can the printer be assigned by default to that document type?

Please maintain the condition records to that output condition types in VV11 transaction for sales orders and VV21 for delivery document output.
In condition record itself you can maintain the printer.
If you maintain the data in the condition record output will come automatically while creating order or while creating delivery.

Printing a single page document multiple times on a page

I have a half page document that I am trying to print 2 up to a page and make multiple copies of. Is this something that is possible with Acrobat? I know how to do it with publisher and it's pretty easy. The way that I have done it with my pdf's normally is to make multiple copies of it and bring them into the document as seperate pages. There has to be an easier way to do it though.

Where can I get a book printed from a Pages document?

Ok, I know of dozens of service bureaus/labs happy to print photo books for people from a series of jpeg image files. Pages does not output jpeg files. I know of one that will do it from a PDF (Blurb, actually), but it must be a PDF/X-3 file, which Pages does not do, either. Where can I get a photo book printed from either a Pages document, or from a Pages-created PDF?
I don't really want to layout my book in InDesign -- Pages is so much easier and faster.

It isn't impossible to use Pages for book printing.

Help needed - can't switch to page

I followed a tutorial about how to create a simple website. The buttons i've created SHOULD fade out the current page and fade in the new page. In it's current state it fades out the m1 instance (mainmenu_mc) but won't fade in the new page selected(p1,p2,p3orp4). After it's faded out if i click in the same area the button was the mainmenu_mc page flashes onto the screen. and when i let go of clicking it, dissapears again.
I hope i've made the situation clear enough for you to understand and you can help me out with this project.

A few things I notice off the bat...
1) You should not be nesting functions within functions. It is bad practice and unnec3saary.
2) If you are removing the childAt 1, are you sure that is what you intend? Child indexes start at 0.
3) If you only fade an object by reducing its alpha property to 0 it is still present and can still be clicked/interacted with. Removing the child should help avoid that, but otherwise setting the visible property to false is necessary.
While having repetitive code in itself is not a functional problem, whenever you have code such as you show where a pattern is repeated, you should be able to reduce it all and have a singular shared function that replace all those of that pattern. In your case, the only difference between them all is a single digit (1,2,3,4), which you could deal with in a number of ways such that you onkly need one btnClick function and one runTransition function that can be shared by all the buttons.

Print multiple pdf pages to one sheet of paper

I want to print a 70 page pdf file but don't want 70 pages.
I want 4 of the pdf pages on one sheet of paper, and I would really like to double side.
This is what I'm working with (and not having any success in getting what I want)

Hi,
That can be done easily using the Booklet feature of the printer driver.
Open the PDF in Adobe Reader, then clcik on File > Print.
Click the Properties button.
Within the Layout tab check the radio option next to Booklet, you may keep the draw borders box checked or uncheck it as you prefer.
