Help needed I give up!

I'm hosting my own website in which I want to post video's in full screen. I prepare in Keynote, export to QT7Pro, compression Sorenson3, to AdobeCS2, where I set up the website pages, etc.
The server serves them ok but it takes 10 min just to load the homepage (server is behind NAT Sonic router DSL upload 400kb, down 3M). So I try, open in QT Player on client machine, same thing. I try export H264 but I lose sprites and interactivity. I reduce image quality to lowest possible but still slow loading time. Then I try QTStreaming (so no download involved) but I must have done the "hinting" incorrectly. I love Keynote and what it can do, I chose QT because its easy for me and universal. Then I put server on DMZ zone (and realize I don't have an IP for it, so I have to reinstall OSXServer). Can someone clue me in on what I'm doing wrong or I'll pay dearly to get this thing going. I also have only one virtual host website in addition to my own.

The presentation slides (movies) I made from Keynote are usually completed in two steps.
1. Export to lossless movie from Keynote.
I usually choose CUSTOM format, and use PNG codec and IMA 4:1 codec for audio, no dimension reduction.
2. use QuickTime Pro to re-export it again.
this time I would change the file size, and use either Sorenson Video 3 or H.264 for video codec, and either QDesign Music 2 or AAC for audio.
As for making movie interactive, I am not expert on this. I would suggest you ask in Keynote section.
I would like to embed a QT movie and sound is QDesign Music a commercial application? I have Livestage Pro, would this accomplish this?
QDesign Music 2 is an audio codec you can choose when you export a movie/audio from QuickTime Pro. (It is licensed, QuickTime Pro users can use it.)
Also, do you know if it is possible to setup a Server so that users who connect thru the internet would be directed to use the QT on the Server rather than their computers?
I guess you are talking about "streaming" QuickTime movies OR movies with Chapters. To stream a QuickTime movie, you will need to have QuickTime Streaming Server (or Darwin Streaming Server, free) installed. To Create Chapters in a movie for external links or chapters, I would suggest you check http://www.apple.com/quicktime/player/tutorials.html

HELP NEEDED!!HOW CAN I USE ORACLE TO GIVE FUNCTIONALITY TO OTHER DATABASES

We presently use a transactional System based on Pervasive.SQL Database Manager (it has ODBC capabilities). However, we need to give our Transactional system a WAN capability (So we can use it in more than one site).
Do you have any ORACLE product that can be used for this?
one way is to use the Oracle Product like a Data Warehouse and Replicate the Database with other Servers, but we would like to know the feasibility of this?

Help needed please, with Iphone stuck with apple picture and progress bar after software update attempted

Help needed please, everytime I try to update the software version on my iphone it comes up with a message saying it could not be completed and is now frozen with the apple picture and progress bar on it. Do I unplug it and hope the macbook pro sees it again, I also stupidly did not back up before starting the download which I realise I will have to go back to the previous back up. This keeps happening, everytime I do this type of update, I'm starting to think I should just give up on updating my software on the Iphone. I thought it was happening because I was using a window based computer to do the updates, this time I used my Macbook Pro. Please somebody help

I have tried the Security Realm of Tomcat. Since I do not have
an LDAP server, I decided to use the Tomcat-users.xml file in
Tomcat\conf directory.

The first time that I click on one of these links, the JRE plug of 1.4 shows a dialog again asking for the username and password. Till I dont provide the username and password the system doesnt go ahead and applet doesnt load. I do not want the JRE to ask me for the username/passwords again..How to avoid this ?
Can you give me some more information on this. Ultimately in the production usage, we will be using LDAP and not Tomcat's memory realm.

In the config file, you 're essentially saying that you want Tomcat to prompt for usr/passw on every request (url-pattern = /*) made by a 'webviewer', and that's exactly what Tomcat is doing.
Consider using specific url-patterns & roles for resources to be protected. If for now, all you need is to protect the first page, use a more specific url-pattern.
Just an advice : if you'll be using LDAP in production, do not waste time with Tomcat's Security Realm and the BASIC authentication type, since the two have not much in common. Start reading doc on LDAP, and code a prototype, or even better, a vertical slice of the app (i.e a proof of concept).

I was give the 9 individual programs I needed to make however they were converted to Java files from .pde files. The program is based on Java but only runs .pde files and NOTHING else!
I decompiled the files and got the source code, but it is a slight variation of the original someone made in processing, and needs some tidying to get it to run.
I think the programs are very simple for a programmer, although I AM NOT.

Help needed with Java 1.4 and xml Runtime problem

I am working on a java 1.3 and JAXP1.1 written code. Now I want to compile and run it using J2SE 1.4. Here are the import statements from the existing code.

When I run the existing(using java 1.3 and Jaxp1.1) code I have to include the files crimson.jar and jaxp.jar in the windows 2000 CLASSPATH and works fine.
But when I compile and run it using J2SE 1.4 which has the built in support for the saxp, I thought that I don't have to specify any CLASSPATH for the new 1.4 so I don't specify any Classpath and it gives me the Microsoft "ClassFactory cannot find the requested class" error which means that even thought the new java 1.4 has the xml classes as libraries yet it still requies some .jar files to be listed in the CLASSPATH.
If I am right then what path will work(i.e what jar class I need to add to the CLASSPATH).

I think I didn't specify when the error occurs. The ClassFactory related error occurs when I run the program, it compiles without any error.
From what I understood somewhere in the java 1.4 docs, that the new 1.4 has the xml libraries built in by default so one doesn't need to give the classpaths just like we don't give any CLASSPATH for using swing and many of the other java packages. That is one thing.
Second thing is that I also tried to use the java_xml_pack-spring02 and java_xml_pack-summer02; but non of them include the crimson.jar and the jaxp.jar files in them which are the 2 .jar files that makes the program run fine when used under the java 1.3 with combination of the jaxp1.1(which was downloaded seperately and then the CLASSPATH for it was set.).
Can you please help what .jar files do I need to use instead. I tried to use the ones that the new java_xml_pack-spring02 and java_xml_pack-summer02 has for the jaxp in them.

URGENT - HELP NEEDED WITH ECC 6.0 ACCESS KEY and USER SETUP

1) In ECC 6.0, When I go to SE12 , table V-FAGL_ACTIVEC (New GL Activation) to make the table display and maintenance allowed, I am asked for the access key. What is the access key that I am supposed to put here. When I go to DEVACCESS table and put my username, I still dont get the access key.
2) Also I need to know what should be maintained under SU01 to give a user all authorizations. I have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW. Is there anyother profile need to be given here. Also do I need to give anything under roles tab in order for the user to have all accesses??

Help needed in Time Capsule configuration

sorry in advance for the probably dummy questions, but I have just bought a Time Capsule and would like some advice in order to obtain the best possible configuration for my needs (the configuration guide was not so clear to me).
I linked the TC via Ethernet to my modem/router (I have a Vodafone Station 2), and I have the following requirements:
1) let the TC become the primary WiFi source: what is the best way to do it? Shall I deactivate the Wi-Fi on the Vodafone Station? Shall I create a new network or extend the existing one?
2) create a guest network (possibly with another password): I can I do it? I didn't succeed in doing it...
3) I would like to use the TC internal hard disk both as a sort of reporitory for my MacBook Air backup, and at the same time as an external hard disk; can I do it directly or should I create a partition on the disk?
4) I would like to add another external HD via USB to the TC, in order to have access to its content through various devices (MacBook, iPhone, iPad, PC) linked to the WiFi network. Also in this case I couldn't get it... How should I do that?
5) Finally, I have a question: is it possible to remotely access (e.g. via 3G) the TC hard disk?

You do not want to extend.. well actually you cannot extend a non-apple router.. so put that out.
The TC will probably have to be in bridge mode.. but it can become the primary wifi source.. simply create a wireless network. Turn off wireless in the vodafone station.
But from your other requirement of a guest network.. you cannot do that in bridge on the TC.. so why not use the vodafone station as your guest network. Give TC wireless a different name. Fix the channels. Try to have them sit a bit apart from one another.. A few Meters at least.

You cannot do guest network with the TC in bridge. So you need to either bridge the modem and use pppoe client in the TC.. that depends on if your ISP supports PPPoE authentication.

This is not really a good idea.. You cannot partition a TC.. Mixing data and backups can be done but it is not necessarily going to work well. The primary design of the TC is a backup target for TM and mainly looking at laptops.

Pondini is our guru on all things TM.
Particularly remember any files offloaded to the TC have no backups.. And TC is not reliable enough to trust. It is a single hard disk and has no form of automated backup.. nor can TM backup a network drive. Any backup of info on the TC has to be done manually.

The USB port of the TC is renowned for being underpowered even if the hard drive is powered you might need a powered hub. Some hubs work and some don't so even that is not simple.
USB drive has to be formatted Mac Extended Journelled. Or fat32.

In your case the answer is probably.. but this will not be easy.
Apple's only method is BTMM via iCloud, but the TC must be the main router in the network.
That means you need to bridge your existing modem.
You might be able to get it to work via the existing modem. Please google remote access time capsule.
You will need to port forward AFP to the TC in the modem and use ddns to find the correct address unless your ISP has given you a static IP.

Addon not starting - help needed in using ExtensionPackage tool

Hi,
I have deployed my addon using Lightweight Deployment in 9.1 PL00.
When starting my addon, I get the error: SapProject1 has stopped working.
What may be the issue?
I packaged my addon using ExtensionPackage tool. In the SBO compatibility tab, we need to give the version like 910.000.00. How should I check I my exact version number? In SAP application->Help->About SAP Business One, it shows version as 9.10.105, but in ExtensionPackage tool, I am supposed to write as nnn.nnn.nn. So how should I mention there?
Secondly, in the Register 32-Bit Microsoft COM DLLs tab, should I select the DLLs: Interop.SAPbobsCOM.dll and Interop.SAPbouiCOM.dll ?
Please guide me. I am trying to do it for first time.

I have never ran the DocCheck from the command prompt, so I really don't know how to do it, but I do run it succesfully using ant (build tool from apache - jakarta, if you use tomcat you already have it installed).
So.. if you do use ant.. this will help:

Help needed on the logic used to display ERP Sales order in CRM WEB UI

Hi,
I have a requirement where i need to trigger an activity/workflow in CRM for orders that are created through ERP Salesorder functionality. In the workflow list, we need to give the order description and provide an hyperlink to the order number. on selection of order number, it should display the ERP sales order. To achive this in workflow, i am trying to understand the as-is standard functionality which is available in Agent Inbox search on ERP sales order.This search is getting the ERP orders and on selecting the order it is opening the ERO sales order page. I tried debugging the method GET_MAINCATAEGORY available in the component iccmp_inbox and in the view Inboxsearch.But couldnt really able to crack the logic how it is retrieving the ERP sales order from inbox search. Any pointers on how this is achieved will be of great help.

very good idea. I thougt myself about that workaround, but it is not really that for what I searched.
I mean the "SAP Query" is a really good standard tool, that are used by many customers. That is why think there must be a standard way to display the SAP Query in the Web UI without using Transaction Launcher.
But it seems that there is no way, except of the transaction launcher or by using an additional analyse system like SAP BI.
By the way do you know a Web UI compoment which enable the user to start reports like SE38?

Help needed sorting a text file.

I'm trying to simply open a file, which is a text file of a list of names, then sort that file, the print the sorted file. The problem is that I keep getting this error
Exception in thread "main" java.util.NoSuchElementException: No line found
     at java.util.Scanner.nextLine(Unknown Source)
     at pro.NamesFile.main(NamesFile.java:36)
Which is at this line[b] words= new String(inputFile.nextLine());
It's not reading any lines from the file and I can't figure out why.
Here's the rest of my code:

You haven't gotten to running the sort yet, so I didn't even check that the sort routine is correct.
Your problem is:
You say inputFile.hasNext() once, and then you read 1 line from it. Then, in your 'for' loop, you read 100 lines from it. So, you always attempt to read 101 lines, even if the file is shorter than that.
You should call "hasNext" before each call to "readLine". Also, you probably want a "while" loop, instead of a "for" loop, since you don't know how many words you will have. I assume you are expecting 100 or less (based on your array size).
Two more notes:
1. Don't do "new String(inputFile.readLine())". All you need is:
words= inputFile.nextLine();
2. You don't need toString here:
System.out.print(words[index].toString()+"\t");words[index] is already a String, and concatenating the "\t" to words[index] would create a String, anyway, no matter what type words[index] was. And, calling:
System.out.print(words[index]);would also automatically call "toString", even if words[index] were not a String.
You could avoid creation of new Strings by:
System.out.print(words[index]);
System.out.print("\t");Just make sure you add braces around them, if both lines are the body of a 'for' loop. You should also make the second 'for' loop into a 'while' loop, using a counter that you update as you read the lines--so that you don't process the "null" elements of the array. You also need to account for null elements in your sort method.

Help needed I give up!
