Help needed, ICloud Newbie

I have changed from my wifes i cloud account to mine on my Ipad and the photos we had have disappeared, i tried to reactivate her account and the photos are still missing, can any1 help?

OK, then they are probably still on your wife's iPhone?
If so you can transfer them to your iPad in a number of ways:
You can upload the photos to your computer by attaching your wife's iPhone to your computer. It will be seen as a camera and you can then upload to photos. Next you would sync those photos to your iPad using iTunes.
or
You can directly transfer photos and videos via WiFi between the iPhone and iPad with an App like Photo Transfer.

Or you can upload the photos and videos to the Dropbox service using the Dropbox App on the iphone and download them to the iPad using the Dropbox App on the iPad. By the way, once the videos are on Dropbox you can share them with others.

Why did I get this:
/home/xiaobo/learningejb/examples/COULD_NOT_FIND_SERVLET_JAR.
But if I check the "interest.jar" by using 'jar -tvf interest.jar' in the "~/learningejb/examples/build-examples/interest$" directory, it seems it had all files and directories in it.
But if I copy this jar file into the deploy directory in jboss, and I check the log file 'server.log'

It's a no brainer between the AirPort Extreme and Airport Express.
The AirPort Extreme has 6 wireless antennas up at the top of the "tower", while the AirPort Express has four, so the Extreme has significantly better wireless speed and range than the Express.
As you know, the broadcast power of wireless routers is limited by law, and most routers are running full blast. Apple routers are not known for their broadcast power, so what we cannot tell you is whether the Extreme will outperform the existing wireless router that you already have in terms of range.
Also as you know, the speed of your Internet connection is limited to the plan that you have with Verizon. An Apple router cannot take the speed of Internet connection that it receives from your Verizon plan and make it go any faster.
A user who has both the same Verizon router as you and an AirPort Extreme might be able to tell you how the products compare in his home.
But...and this is a big BUT...... the bottom line with any wireless router is that you will not know how well it performs in your home until you try it out in your home. To think otherwise would be foolhardy at best.
Buy from Apple and you have a 14 day return privilege in case things don't work as well as hoped. Other stores may offer a similar option. Check first, before you buy.

Help Needed - complete newbie - WLC 4402

I am trying to set up a basic wireless network, completely seperate from our internal network, just utlizing the external internet bandwidth. It will mainly be used for meeting rooms and visitors requiring internet access.
There should be no need for VLans on the Wireless network.
The External 7204 router is plugged into a 12 port 2950 switch, which has a connection to the external side of our firewall.The ip address of the router is a public address, so if possible I do not want to give the WLC management ip a public address. The WLC will be plugged into the Cisco 2950 switch.
I am a complete newbie at setting up the Cisco wireless. I imagine it is down to routing - do I have to purchase another router or is the WLC capable of doing simplified routing?
Any advice would be greatly apprciated.

Thanks for your reply, i have tried to create an interface on the controller as you suggested. however I get the following error " Error in setting VLAN and port. Cannot have multiple untagged dynamic interface on the same port" was ondering if you could shed any light on that error.
Trying to setup the Trunk port on the 2950 switch, it won't allow me to set the encapsulation dot1q - is this down to the software version of the switch?

Help needed with newbie progression / regression script

Ok, I've had Arch running with XFCE4 running for about 3 months. I installed vim and really like it. Boy, that editor has a steep learning curve for an old guy like me. Taking small steps here. But I thought I'd like to have my progression/regression backed up.
What I need is a bash script that uses crontab to copy/backup my .bashrc, ~/.bash/aliases, and .vimrc files like every other day. I don't want to overwrite them. Rename them so that at a future time, I can see my pro/regression in those files.
Any help would be much appreciated.

This is what VCS is built for. Open an account on Github or Bitbucket and commit your files there: you will have access to a complete history and the added advantage of being able to clone those files to a new machine...

Help Needed for Newbie

I am reformatting the hard drive for a Powerbook G4. Everything seems to have gone fine until I tried reinstalling the software that came with the powerbook. It doesnt recognize the hard disk, its completely blank when I am supposed to select a destination. I removed the hard drive and attached it via USB cable to a powermac and it detects the drive that way. I reinstalled the hard drive in the powerbook and again as an external. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, then, try the following using your 10.4 Installer DVD (Tiger):
1. Boot from the Tiger DVD. After the installer loads select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status in the bottom status bar of DU. Be sure it says "Verified." Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the number of partitions from the dropdown menu (use 1 partition unless you wish to make more.) Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled, if supported.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the volume(s) mount on the Desktop.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled, if supported.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process will take 30 minutes to an hour or more depending upon the drive size.
After formatting has completed you should quit DU and return to the installer. Now proceed with the installation. When you reach the point for selecting the destination your hard drive should now appear and be selectable.

Hello , i just discovered the kuler by watching a video tutorial . My problem is that in that tutorial doesn't really explain how to use kuler , i mean , OK i make a selection of colors , i save the "theme" and download it , i load it into the photoshop , but .... what do i do with it in photoshop ?
for example : Does kuler gives me some sugestions where to use a certain color from the theme ?
for example if yellow is the base color where do i use it ? i use that color as a background ? i used it for the menus colors .... thats what i dont understand .And if the yellow base is used for background , what do i do with dark yellow for example ? where do i put it !!!!
Any tips and suggestions are very much appreciated , also sorry for my bad english .

I'm sorry we cannot help you.
You have Jailbroken your device. Apple does not support Jailbreaking and as such having done so has voided your warranty and forfeited any support from Apple and by extension these forums. We are not allowed to discuss Jailbroken devices in any way by the Terms of Service of the forum.
You will have to find help elsewhere. Ask the person that installed Cydia to restore the phone.

IPhone 4 reset itself, photos lost -URGENT HELP NEEDED

Urgent help needed!!
Tonight I was taking extremely important photos throughout an event on my iPhone 4, however, my iPhone 4 ran out of battery once I was near a charger I plugged it in and for some reason my iPhone had reset itself. Back up icloud options were from yesterday, but the photos that I was taking at the event are needed urgently. Is there any way possible I can recover the photos that were taken?

Hi folks. Need help re: iCloud storage. I own two Macs, an iPad (3rd gen), and iPhone 5. None of these uses iCloud for backups. My apps only take up about 20MB, and Mail takes up 407.8MB. And yet Settings says that my iCloud storage is full! I'm stumped and I don't know what else to do. Please help. Thanks.

What happens if you add, say a new pages document.
Hold down the alt key after opening the Finders 'Go" menu, choose 'Library' from the menu, look in 'Mobile Documents' and let me know what you see, you can look in various folders at will, but don't go moving or deleting anything. Look for any large unexplained documents.

Website template help needed

I am hoping someone is willing to take the time to help a new
Flash user. I have a website template I need to customize and get
rid of all the generic text and pictures but I am not sure the
easiest way. I am sure I am going about it the hardest way possible
without much luck. I have all the .fla files and the site works
fine in it's generic form. I have figured out how to update just an
ordinary picture but I can't figure out how to change the picture
of a library bitmap when it has a background. I can replace the
entire thing but I want to keep the background image the picture is
on. It is a custom shape, color etc. designed just for this site. I
looked for just an instance of the picture but it only appears in a
bitmap combined with the background as far as I can tell. I do have
the .PSD files and I am pretty sure I can do it that way but I am
not sure if Photoshops "publish for web" will give me my flash site
or just an HTML version. I am sure there is something I am
overlooking. Any help for a newbie would be greatly
appreciated.

The photos are taken from a XML file. Open the XML file flashmo_247_photo_list' in dreamweaver and look at the code it'll be easy to fiqure out if you have ever done any sort of HTML coding.

64bit howto [help needed]

i start thinking about buying a screenless computer as computing station
this is not an idea, it is a plan - something to be realized :-)
- it will be 64bit (the "future")
- it will run arch64 - it will be 100% "win-free"
- it must be low-cost (obviously, i'm a student)
now the questions:
- what will be the 64bit standard of the future (for private persons, i dont mean alpha or sparc ways, because they are too expensive)
- what arches exist? what one leads to the best performance? (i'm confused) (also i'm a little bit affraid, that the G5 is much better than any AMD or intel 64bit in performance, because of the powerpc is rich of commands)
- how cheap can be a motherboard, a cpu and a good, not too small harddrive? (a nic is about 10CHF ~ 8US$ and powersupply was also cheap, when i looked last time)
any experts on hardare (not me) or people with 64bit systems + experience, please speak out, post links and help us 64bit-newbies understand the subject better

When it comes to G5 and AMD I would choose G5 because the last time i looked they were fairly close in price (in my part of the world which is very different than yours) and just prefer OS X.
oh ... ok - i comare selfmade amd's because a complete system using the stuff on my list costs also around 2500chf and is much closer to the g5 - however, then you get a totally displaced winXP and other hardware not needed --- and putting a system together is very simple, and saving ~1000chf is not bad :-)

that's a very good question - i hope gcc will hurry up supporting amd better --- and when having this sys i'll definitely work on arch64, the archlinux 64bit part :-) (but also on the i686, because my laptop is P4M)
i dont plan to use windows in any case on this machine (ms intends to use 16bit code over a 16->32bit emulator and a 32->64bit emulator to run under XP64 - crazy people! - now definitely history for me)
