Help needed implementing an IronPort S160

Hi all,
We have received a Cisco IronPort S160 to trial but implementing it into my network is confusing me.
1) How do I activate/enable port P2 to be the WAN port?
2) Why can the S160 only be used as a transparent proxy with a layer 4 switch or WCCP router? We do not possess any of these devices and don't want to have to add proxy information into all users PC's (as with explicit proxying). Previous ZyXEL and FortiGate devices we have owned allowed transparent proxying without such necessities. Is there a work-around?

Help needed implementing badi IWO1_ORDER_BADI

Hi guys!
I have a problem.
When I create an order with reference in trx IW31, that reference order HAS to be released. I need to check this after the first screen.
I found this badi, IWO1_ORDER_BADI. I did a trace and this badi appears. I created a "Z" implementation, but this didin't work. I even set a breakpoint in the standard badi and the system never stoped there.
I'm a newbie in this BADI thing. Maybe I'm missing something, I don't know.
I have Sap 4.7.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong???

I think I had similar issue, I was on 4.6. I know that method for finding a BADI starts on a later version of SAP. Here is some code for finding a BADI of you know the transaction:

SMTP and Ironport S160

Hi,
We've got the following setup:
A Cisco AP
Ironport S160
Exchange 2010
iPhones
We've setup the iphones to bypass proxy when connected via the AP. The http and https traffic seems to go through fine but we can't get the SMTP traffic to go through or come in. I've setup the tracking in Exchange and can not see the email hitting the Exchange server.
We've tried with putting in the full proxy detail in the iPhone wireless setup but still the same result.
Can someone advise

As you know the WSA can inspect HTTP/HTTPS/FTP but email protocols are handle by C-Series.
Based on the apple link below the Exchange aplication will use port 993 to recieve emails and in order to send emails it needs ports 587, 465, or 25

I made wrapper vi's for the standard GPIB Read/Write functions to
handle errors (using green icons to distinguish them better). The "send
mult" handles simple strings (like standard GPIB Write) and array of
strings (you often need to send more than one string to a device). But
generally those icons have the same main functionality like standard
GPIB...
To send an array of strings you put the GPIB Write into a for loop and
connect the array as input with autoindexing enabled (as standard).
Maybe a small delay will help for some devices, the K2400 should do
without.
Edited: The greenish delay icon is just a standard "Wait ms" with
additional error cluster in/out to allow dataflow programming...

Ram,
I have had printing problems too a year and a half ago. I used all printing apis of java and I still find that it is something java lacks. Now basically you can try autosense. To check whether your printer is capable of printing the docflavor use this PrintServiceLookup.lookupPrintServices(flavor, aset); . If it lists the printer then he can print the document otherwise he can't. I guess that is why you get the error.

IronPort S160/ASA5510 integration - PAC file and blocking Port 80

We have successfully integrated our ASA5510 and IronPort S160 appliance with Active Directory and eDirectory. We've configured AD to push IE settings to use the IronPort proxy.pac file. Now we need to "Block" un-configured IE access to Port 80 traffic.
In my ASA i have a firewall exception for our WAN IP ranges (source) to any Destination port tcp/http, tcp/https and domain. If I remove the tcp/http from the exception "ALL" port 80 traffic stops, including those PCs configured to use the IronPort Poxy.pac file.
So where have I gone wrong? I want to block un-configured IE access to Port 80, forcing all users to pass through the IronPort appliance.

I hate this job. About 11:10 PM as I was trying to get ready for bed, I had the same thought. Of course I had to test it out, so back to the VPN connection I went and added the filter permit for port 80 for the Ironport's ip address and viola it worked. Thanks for answering my post just the same.

Teamviewer with HTTPs Proxy on Ironport S160 not working

I activated the HTTPS Proxy on our Ironport S160 . To start with I created decrypt rule that puts all request on passthru.
Now everything is working except Teamviewer.
I created a UserAgent identity für DynGate and included this identity in the no.de rule.
A GREP gives me this output

Since this went a little deeper into the ironport config then my expertise in this matter, I consultet our Cisco partner.
He found out that there is a setting that is only available through the cli that applies to this problem.
Advancedproxyconfig->MISCELLANEOUS->Would you like to block tunneling of non-SSL transactions on SSL Ports?

I can´t say much about it but it might point someone else with the same problem in the right direction.
Anyway Teamviewer 9 is now working with https proxy enable. Teamviewer ist set on passthru.

this is my developer machine version and same is for production environment.
I need encryption to be enabled for HIPAA compliance.
TDE which is not available in sql server 2008 standard version so cant be applied I believe.
Using encryption keys at instance/database level by symmetric and asymmetric keys not possible as lots of things in it.
tools like
BitLocker Drive Encryption giving issues on production environment and not working correctly.
so question is what all possibilities I have now to implement encryption that would be HIPAA compliant as well. please let me know if there are any other third party tools also.

Based on my research, since you are using SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition, you can have the following options to implement encryption. Refer to :
SQL Server Encryption Options.
1. Besides using encryption keys at instance/database level, you can use cell-level encryption including the following things to encrypt data in SQL Server. For more details, please review this article:
How to: Encrypt a Column of Data.
    a. Create Master key
    b. Create Certificate
    c. Create Symmetric key
    d. Apply the encryption key to the column.
2. Encrypt data with the .NET Framework. The .NET Framework supports encryption using the System.Security.Cryptography namespace to perform symmetric or asymmetric encryption.
3. Use Encrypting File System(EFS) to encrypt SQL Server database files.
In addition, you can use other third party software such as
Encryptionizer, DbDefence and so on. However, Microsoft cannot make any representations regarding the quality, safety, or suitability of any the third party software or information.

Business rule: a combination consists of a maximum of 4 subjects (must contain)
and the user is less relevant to a COMB_NAME(name of combinations) but user need

you can use any of the COMBINATION table(either (2) or (3))
and i want to know
1)which design is good in this case
(i think SUB_ID1,SUB_ID2,SUB_ID3,SUB_ID4 is not a
good method to link with same table but if 4 subjects only(and must) comes
detail table is not neccessary )
now i am achieving the result by program-coding in C# after getting the rows from oracle
i am using oracle 9i (also ODP.NET)
i want to know how can i get the result in the stored procedure itsef.
2)how it could be designed in any other way.
any help/suggestion is welcome

In short, I love it. I was going to buy the 5DMark III. After playing with it for a while at my local Fry's store where they put 5DMII, 5DMIII and 6D next to each other, using the same 24-105L lens, I decided to get the 6D and pocket the different for lens later.
I'm upgrading from the 30D. So I think you'll love it. It's a great camera. I have used 5DMII extensively before (borrowing from a close friend).
Funny thing is at first I don't really care about the GPS and Wifi much. I thought they're just marketing-gimmick. But once you have it, it is actually really fun and helpful. For example, I can place the 6D on a long "monopod", then use the app on the phone to control the camera to get some unique perspective on some scenes. It's fun and great. GPS is also nice for travel guy like me.

Help needed! Raid degraded again!

Hi!
Help needed! I hava made bootable RAID with two S-ATAII 250Gb HDD and its not working! Every now and then at bootup I get a message RAID -> DEGRADED... Must be seventh time! Rebuild takes its own time!
What am I doing wrong!
T: Ekku
K8N Neo4 Ultra
AMD 64 4200+
2 Gb RAM
2 x 250 Gb HDD (Maxtor)
nVidia RAID (in mb)
P.S. I wery SORRY with my poor language!

I'm going to blame the nVRAID because I've seen issues with it in the past. If your motherboard has another non-nVidia RAID solution, use that instead. Using the nVidia SATA ports as BASE or JBOD is fine and dandy but RAIDing always had issues. It's not even a driver issue I think it's just instability. Latest drivers and even boxed drivers never helped. Granted, some will report success with their rig. But on a professional level I've seen nForce issues on different motherboards and different hard drives that had RAID disaster stories.
Good luck and if you don't have another RAID solution, my suggestion would be to buy a dedicated RAID controller card.

Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i on Sun Solaris 8

Hey,
Help needed on installation of Oracle 9i EE on Sun Solaris 8. The problem I met was: we followed the installation guide from the documentation. And we selected the choice "install software only". After it was done successfully, we run Database Configuration Assistant utility to create a database instance. But finally it always tried to create the instance at the root directory ( / ) which doesn't have enough space and then failed. The case was that we have set the enviroment parameters: $ORACLE_BASE = /export/mydata, $ORACLE_HOME = /export/apps/oracle9i. That means it should be installed at /export/mydata, but it didn't. Any help or advice are welcome. Thanks.

I have downloaded Oracle 11G R2 version from Windows and extracted it in Windows and copied it into DVD after extraction in two folders. Now I am mounting that DVD in Solaris 10 installed in my VMware . I made a new directory named as 'installation ' under /export/home/oracle and copied the folders from DVD to 'installation' folder. Now I am entering installation folder and try to do ./runInstaller as 'oracle ' user and getting the error mentioned before.
