Help needed in deploying EAR
Hi i have created EAR in jdeveloper and i want to deploy it in oracle app server..please help me.. i tried to search everyewhere its either mentioned about clustered environment or using ant..i dont want to use either cant i deploy it without using them..if so please guide me or any URL which gives me guidence

Overhere you can deploy the ear file

Urgent help needed on deployment facts

I had completed a Java Web based application using JApplet, which in turn uses Java Media Framework and Java Communications APIs. So when i deploy this application and let the clients use this application. I need to dump some jar files and properties files into the clients JRE so that all the APIs will work properly. Without any installations. I tried doing this manually by copying these files into client machines So is there a direct method for performing the task. Or i need to add some additional code to my applet so as to find the clients current JRE version and place the required files under using FTP? Can i write a setup routine or something which does all these operations once the client access the applet?

Hello, I need to deploy Firefox 3.6.11 to existing installations to upgrade them from the old version. That part is fine, the problem I have is will the silent installation update any non-compatible add-ons or extensions? I will be using SCCM for the deployement part..
I ran the installation manually on a typical machine of which it gave the option of upgrading the existing client. Thats fine but the installation then prompted that 2 currently installed add-ons were not compatible with the new version. It lets you select and then "check" for later versions of those add-ins, actually checks for updates and lets you select and install those too!!
Now, how do you deploy silently with those options I`ve mentioned above??? Cant find any command line parameter that allow for that!

I am new web logic and need some help in compiling, creating deployment file i.e. war, ear on Web Logic 9.2. I have the following sample web service with annotations code code but need help in compiling, creating deployment file (war,ear), creating proxy for testing etc. How to compile and create deployment files in WebLogic 9.2. Any help is really appreciated.

Help needed for deploying adobe application

Iam new to Java webdynpro interactive form development
i have designed a small application and trying to deploy,
i got some probs while deployment
iam using EP 7.0 J2ee Engine 6.40 and my developemt system has PDF 7.0 , ADS has been configured in WAS system.
I have the following... problems
When application is created and rebuild..i dont find any problems..when deploying from NWDS iam getting a message like

Help - need jar deploy example
Hello,
I have been banging my head for two days trying to get a simple app that has two jars to run in any directory. If I jar an app in c:\mydir\app.jar
It runs ok, if I move it to c:\
it fails because it cannot find the class files.
How would you deploy a app that has one jar file with it so it runs in any directory?
example:
pgm1
pgm_class.class
second.jar
I jar pgm1 to pgm1.jar
What should the manifest.mf file look like?

We are a K-12 educational institution. I am currently working at setting up a computer lab with about 16 MacMini computers.
I'm VERY new to the realm of servers, deployment, using terminal, etc.
I've done lots of research to make it to where I am, but just can't wrap my head around what needs done next with the Adobe products.
I am using Server OSX (v3) and DeployStudio (v 1.6.3) to try and manage the computers.
Both my server and clients are running Mavericks 10.9.
I deployed my core images successfully and would like to now send Adobe products only the computers I choose since I have limited licenses.
We have volume licenses of Adobe InDesign CS6 and Photoshop Elements 12 that we would like to deploy.
I have been referencing the following sites, but just can't seem to wrap my head around the EXACT steps that need to be taken.

I know that I can't use AAMEE and need to use APTEE (Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition).
How do I deploy the software? Create my own Package using PackageMaker?

Do I have to open terminal and run the commands on each client computer AFTER installing PE12?
OR
Do I run the commands BEFORE deployment on my package stored on my server that is ready for deployment?
It really comes down to me just not 100% understanding how APTEE works.

Need to deploy custom EAR/WAR on EBS OC4J

I'm using the VIS12 EBS image from Fusion Factory. I need to deploy a custom EAR/WAR on it. I have no EBS expertise (I'm a tech guy, not an apps guy).
How do I do this deployment?
I tried using admin_client.jar to use RMI for deployment but could not (admin_client either blocked, or the famous Cannot get Deployment Manager error)
I also tried modifying the $OC4JHOME/j2ee/home/config/server.xml and use auto-deploy, then put my EAR in $OC4JHOME/j2ee/home/applications/
This didn't work either.
Also, I can't connect to ascontrol (port 7777/em or 7778/em give a 503 error). I am using the startall.sh script to start everything up.
This is rather urgent, I need to deploy this EAR (AD4J agent) for a POC. Thanks.hi Hussein
that note is specific to re-deploying forms.ear, however i need to deploy an arbitrary ear file..
I was also able to use the note to re-deploy ascontrol, I also had to edit trusted.conf (in Apache/Apache...) to allow ascontrol Allow from all.
Now I can access ascontrol at myhost:8000/ascontrol/
I reset the password in system-jazn-data.xml and can verify that if I enter a wrong password, I get an error. However even with a correct password I get this error..

I'm not really a servlet expert, but it appears that you've enabled
in-memory replication for the Login servlet, but your WLS is not
clustered.

Urgent :- Unable to deploy EAR file in Oracle application server
Hello folks,
I am trying to deploy an application containing jsps and servlets
packaged into EAR using ant. However when am trying to do so by using
the Deploy EAR option in the Enterprise manager, it throws the
following error -
"Invalid J2EE application file specified - Jar file:
/var/tmp/jar47241.tmp is missing its standard xml descriptor located at
META-INF/ejb-jar.xml"
I suspect that something could be wrong with regards to the way the ear
file has been created.
Please if someone could pin point the problem and help me understand
the the above error message , it will be of great help to me and I d
really appreciate this.

I try to deploy an ear file (contains jar and war files) in Oracle Application server in linux, but the time is so long. The same file I deploy in a OAS in windows and the deploy time was 2 minutes, but in linux I leave the hole night and the session close and the deploy in unable.
I don't know if I need configure an especial option in the OAS in Linux, how I can load my ear file.
The OAS in windows was installed with oc4j options only, but the OAS in linux was full installation
Please help me....

Building+Deploying EAR, EJB and WS Proxy DCs
Hi,
I have three types of DCs in my track:-
1. Deployable Web Service ProxyDC
2. EJB Module DC (which uses classes from Deployable WS Proxy DC)
3. EAR Application DC (for above EJB DC)
I am able to build and deploy EAR of WS Proxy DC successfully.
But I am not able to deployEAR of EJB DC as its unable to locate classes in WS Proxy DC. It gives NoClassDefFoundError while deployment of EAR..
Do I need to make some changes to ejb-j2ee-engine.xml file in EJB DC and application-j2ee-engine.xml file in EAR DC?
Please help.

I am totally confused here.
EAR DC contains--> EJB DC uses--> WS Proxy DC
Lets start from root DC ie WS Proxy DC.
1. For WS Proxy DC, what public par should I create? and how?
2. I know that for EJB DC, I need only compilation public part.
3. What should be done for EAR? How do I link Web Service proxy DC to EAR DC?

Error while deploying ear-file to J2EE via NWDS/SDM
Hi everybody,
i have a problem deploying an ear-file. I was looking for similar cases in forums, but didn't find anything. My application is developed by jsp/servlets. The deployment aborts with following error-massage:
Caught exception during application deployment from SAP J2EE Engine's deploy API:
com.sap.engine.deploy.manager.DeployManagerException: com.sap.engine.services.deploy.container.DeploymentException: Cannot update archive file Docsndownloads.warcom.sap.engine.services.deploy.ear.exceptions.BaseIOException: Error during replacement of substitution values. Reason: java.io.IOException: Stream closed
I don't know what the reason could be. The application is running on tomcat. And I can deploy other applications to j2ee with nwds/sdm.
Maybe somebody had or has the same problem. Or somebody knows the answer for the problem. Please help, points will be regarded. Thanks in advance.

Error while deploying ear file generated from weblogic to ocj4

I have an .ear file which has been generated from weblogic server.I tried to deploy it on ocj4 aby created a new project in eclipse and deploying it on ocj4.
