Help needed in finding appropriate event in code

Hi,
I am designing an online examination system where the students can login into the system anytime between a 'start time' and an 'end time'. The problem that I have is once the 'end time' has lapsed, I need to fire an event to make a state change to indicate that the time has run out for those students who are still solving the questions.
What event should be fired for this? As the state change code does not depend upon any event that the user performs.

Help needed to find CPU Usages

Hi Folks,
I am trying to find the CPU usages of a machine and need help regarding it.I have a JNI Code , which I am unable to compile/create a .dll file using Microsoft VC++. However . I am not sure about the JNI Code that I have( got it in the net).. If anybody can help please, I am in a tight situation.
My question is how to find the CPU Usages (I know all the procedure) , all I need is an example ...

If you need CPU usage of single process then it's easy to use GetProcessTimes().
If you need to know overall loading then read about registry like interface for performance data. This code little bit complex to post it here especially without comments so it's better to read original paper on say MSDN.

I need to find the Netflix activation code for NS-BRDVD3

I bought this as an open box today and everything works great, but the Netflix has already been activated with someone else's account. While it was fun for a while searching through their queue and their recently watched movies (they seem to like raunchy teenage sex comedies), I'd really like to set my account up on there. Is there anyway to find out what the code is?

There was not a netflix option under the Networking menu. The first thing I tried was resetting the system to factory defaults, and it triggered the "try netflix" popup, but it kept the old netflix user's account in there. Later (after tweeting with someone on twelpforce) I decided to try it one more time. That time it deleted the old account and gave me the activation code. So everything is great now. Thanks for your help.

Help Needed for Resetting VoIP SPA 2100 Codes

Yesterday afternoon, I lost power to my home for a few minutes; until then my phone worked perfectly (for the week that I had it initially installed). I have the Earthlink TrueVoice program with a ZyXEL P 600 series DSL modem and direct Ethernet cable (NO router) to my ATA adapter (Linksys VoIP model SPA 2100). My computer is an HP Pavilion 8755C with Windows Millenium Edition. I have a standard (wire) phone connection. After the power was restored to my home, I tried to use my ATA adapter (Linksys VoIP model SPA 2100) to make a phone call, but there was a five-second delay between when I spoke and when someone on the other end of the line heard me. I contacted Earthlink through online chat and was told to do the following: Dial **** 877778 # 1 to reset the adapter. I did this and nothing positive happened (though I did hear a recorded English woman’s voice repeat the numbers I dialed); I did, however, lose the dial tone and was unable to connect to the Internet with my DSL. So, to conduct more online chat, I re-routed the Ethernet cable to bypass the ATA adapter; I was successful at restoring my Internet, but, obviously, I had NO phone service. More than 8 hours of online chats to Earthlink technical service resulted in failure each time. I swapped ends of my cables numerous times – no success. I removed the power cords to the ATA adapter and to the DSL Modem MULTPILE times for for up to 5 minutes – no success. The lights on the back of the ATA lit properly, but since the first time I tried the **** 877778 # 1 code, the Status light blinks and the light indicating “Phone 1” stays dark (yes, there is astandard phoneline connected to that port). I tried multiple codes to reset the ATA (re-coding instructions are separated by semi-colons): **** 877778 # 1 ; **** 877778 # 1 # ; **** 732668 # ; *** *73738 # 1 . I unplugged the power cord and Ethernet cable (to the modem) on the ATA adapter for about 1 or 2 minutes after trying to reset the code before reattaching everything (power cord always re-attached last). I tried each of these suggestions MULTIPLE times without success. One Earthlink tech wanted more specific information – the MAC address (which I was told is a 12 digit hexa decimal number that starts with zero). I told him what it was. He asked me to try a “ping” test; I was told to click on Start -> Run, type in cmd and hit Enter. A new window would appear and I should type in ping 192.168.0.1 and hit Enter. I never got to the “new window” because after I typed in “cmd” and hit Enter, I received the message “Windows cannot find cmd.” I was told to dial the code * * * * 110 # and to hear my IP address; I heard nothing. I noticed that the last time I tried to dial **** 877778 # 1, I was interrupted before I typed the final “1” because the recorded voice told me “invalid value.” Around 1 a.m. last night I gave up in disgust and went to sleep, disconnecting everything. I have now reconnected the DSL modem and made the direct connection to my computer (the ATA adapter is still disconnected from power and all connecting cables). I am not an idiot and I have some electronics experience (I have wired several home theater systems), but I have little computer experience (and none with VoIP) and right now I am totally frustrated. The tech support at Earthlink is virtually worthless. Please help (and please keep it in simple terms so that an ignorant individual like myself might learn – I need a nice step-by-step method (including times to wait between restarts, what cables/cords to disconnect and the order to disconnect/reconnect them (if that matters) to reset this device) Thanks from a neophyte who is not afraid to be honest and show his ignorance in this area of knowledge.

i have a SPA-2100 it's a Sipura, and it now asks for a password. I was putting all my settings in for voip provider and now can not get in my admin? i did try the 73738 and that did not work. I was able to put my providers sip and stun all in. is it i'm locked out from my voip provider? If so why would that be, because this is not their device, it's mine? but how do I get back in my admin or can the voip provider I put in, help?

Urgent help needed in two clarifictions of applet code

Hi,
I have an applet code where I have two buttons. Now, if button A is clicked it should pass a particular query string while if button B is clicked it should pass another particular query string.
I would like to confirm
1) Whether the query string passed is a valid statement(/approach) and
2) Why there is an error in assigning qryString to qryString1.

...this is a local variable ...local to your actionperformed method. The reason the assignment String qryString1 =qryString; doesn't work is because you have no scope to your actionperformed local variables from your executeQuery method. Either make qryString a class variable bty defining it outside any method ...ot, alternatively, pass the string into the executeQuery method.

Hi Friends,
I have a scenario in one of the query and need to write a customer exit for the same. Here is the scenario:
I am using one input variable XXX to get input from user which feeds value to one of the charateristic lets say "CHAR1" in query. I have one more characteristic "CHAR2" which has to get the value from the same variable XXX. This is not allowed in BI7.0 as the variable is Hierarchy Node type. It gives error that "Variable XXX is used for two different characteristics."
So i need to create one more vaiable YYY which will get the value from XXX and then YYY will feed value to CHAR2. I would appreciate if some one could tell me step by step how to write customer exit and give me the piece of ABAP code i need to write in my case.
Your help will be appreciated in terms of points.

1. What should CHAR2 take - Hierarchy node variable or something else ?
--> CHAR2 is a simple charateristic
2. In your scenario - why have CHAR1 and CHAR2 ? why not have the user enter values against CHAR2 ??
--> We dont want user to enter two input as the input values for both Chars are same.
3. Did you try using a replacement path variable with the CHAR2 variable taking values from Variable on CHAR1 ?
--> In BI7.0 replacement path variable only take values from Query results. So not able to do the same.

Help needed to find a good mapmytracks apps to N8...

I had an older Nokia and used the apps mapmytracks, which is wonderful (you use your mobil as a gps, it has very good maps including topo, works also in the forrests, it counts the meter you walk and you can save the rutes afterwards. BUT it does not work with N8 and the developers will not fix it, because the symphian3 has no future. Could anyone here give my the name of an other apps that can do the same things. I would not find such an apps for N8, I need it and if I (and people who need precise tracking in a forrest) do not find such an apps for N8 we need to stop using Nokia. Hope someone can help me.

HELP- need to find files

I hope someone can help me out there! Recently I experienced a problem that Lightroom was condensing my pictures (500x500 jpeg), when I went to go in to resize to a larger size it lost the image and became blurry and noisy.... I did not save the RAW images, I thought though that Lightroom automatically saves the images. Is there anyway to get back the files with the correct dimension even if it is JPEG or to re-edit them as RAW.. I don't have them on the memory card either and it has been about a month or so and I am just noticing this problem now, geese!

If you imported the RAWs using Lightroom, then the RAWs are on one of your hard disks somewhere, unless you deleted them. I suggest you look for them. The easiest way to find them is to go into Lightroom and right-click on the photo and select "Show in Explorer". This won't work if you deleted or moved or renamed the photos. You could also search for them using your operating system tools. Please try both of these suggestions and report back.
I think you also need to look at introductory videos/tutorials/FAQs on the proper usage of Lightroom, as it sounds like a lot of these problems are preventable.

Help needed to find out BADI's for Transaction "PECM_CHANGE_STATUS"

Hi folks,
I was told to use BADI "HRECM00_ACTIVATION" and code in the Method "CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT" within it. After coding and executing my Transaction "PECM_CHANGE_STATUS" it does'nt stop at the method (inspite of keeping a breakpoint).
So, after suggestions from some of you folks i tried the below 2 methods to find out the relavant BADI's
1) First way, putting a breakpoint at "CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface" via SE24 and found only one BADI in exit_name which is "HRPAD_SUBTY_CHECK".
2) Other way i checked the Package of suggested BADI "HRECM00_ACTIVATION" , which i found as "PAOC_ECM_ADM_BL". ANd when i go to SE80, for this package when i check the Enhancements section->Classic BADIs. i found about 15 BADI's ..Is this the right way to check for a BADI ? If not, how to know the relavant BADI's for my transaction "PECM_CHANGE_STATUS"

1. The BADI "HRECM00_ACTIVATION" does exist in this transaction, did you activate the implementation after writing the code? The method is called in the FM HR_ECM_CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT. You can try executing with breakpoint at the FM HR_ECM_CALC_SAL_ADJUSTMENT.

3. In case you are working on ECC 6.0 the first point ( "CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface" ) mentioned by you might now return all the BADIS, as SAP has introduced a new method by which BADIS are invoked. You can try searching for Kernel Badi in SAP Help.

In my application i will be entering some string data in a text box for search criteria.
When I click on search, I will get data from database which will be shown as a JTree.
This Jtree will have some nodes in which, node with string entered in the search text box exists.
I need to focus on this node and I have only a string to find this node.
How can I do this?How can I find a node in JTree using string value?
Is there any alternate option by which I can achive my need?
